• Pakkun warned Kakashi’s group that Orochimaru’s party had slowed down, and Kakashi assigned Guy and himself to fight while Naruto and Rock Lee rescued Sasuke.
• Kimimaro arrived with Konoha’s declaration of war, and he chose to stay behind with Jūgo to face the pursuers.

He left them trapped without chakra in an illuminated earth prison with fifty opponents, telling them they could not come out until they awakened Adamantine Sealing Chains.

• Shikamaru learned that fewer than thirty Konoha ninja had died in the battle and ordered the survivors to rest before advancing on Otogakure.

• Tenten found Hongshi, Naruto, and Gyokucha, and Naruto’s Harem Technique failed to affect Hongshi until he coughed up blood and pretended to die; Black Zetsu collected the blood for Hidan.
