Life in the Su Family

Su Yunian grew up in one of Jing City’s wealthiest and most influential families. As Xie Qing’s only daughter, she was deeply loved by her mother and believed that both parents were devoted to their family. Absorbed in her studies, she failed to recognize her father’s affair with their live-in family doctor, Zhao Min 21 22 28.

Zhao Min’s children, Zhao Feifei and Zhao Jinxuan, also lived in the Su household. Su Jingang justified their presence as assistance to a single mother, arranged for Zhao Feifei to accompany Su Yunian to school, and took a particular interest in Zhao Jinxuan’s congenital heart condition 28.

Hearing Lu Chi’s Thoughts

When Lu Chi transferred into her class and became her deskmate, Su Yunian discovered that she could hear his internal conversations with Guagua. She recognized Guagua as a possible system, but initially reacted with disgust to their lewd remarks and Lu Chi’s repeated insults. Having seen earlier information from Lu Chi’s inner conversations prove accurate, Su Yunian acted immediately. Investigating the Affair

Su Yunian later attended the police station during the sabotage investigation. Zhao Min was released after her mechanic cousin confessed to tampering with the car; Su Yunian suspected that he had been paid to take the blame. She urged Xie Qing to dismiss Zhao Min while temporarily withholding the affair allegation until she could establish it with evidence 26 27.

After Zhao Min’s dismissal, investigators working for Su Yunian photographed and filmed Su Jingang secretly meeting her. Further information from Guagua revealed that Zhao Feifei was Su Jingang’s biological daughter, but Zhao Jinxuan was not his son. Su Yunian passed this discovery to Xie Qing, and they planned paternity tests using hair samples from both children. Obtaining the Hair Samples

Su Yunian approached Zhao Feifei under the pretense of reconciliation, intending to offer her a pearl bracelet and gain access to Zhao Min and Zhao Jinxuan. She abandoned the gift after noticing that Zhao Feifei already wore an identical bracelet from Su Jingang 40 41.

When Zhao Feifei staged a fall and accused her of pushing her, Su Yunian turned the situation around. She claimed to have accidentally knocked Zhao Feifei over after twisting her ankle, gained the surrounding students’ sympathy, and pulled out a tuft of Zhao Feifei’s hair amid the confusion. Lu Chi then helped her back toward their classroom 41.

At a recording of The Voice of Huaxia, Su Yunian encountered Zhao Feifei and Zhao Jinxuan again. She signaled her bodyguards to provoke a scuffle, publicly called for everyone to stop, and used the confusion to obtain Zhao Jinxuan’s hair.
