The Duelling Club was a complete failure.
Lockhart, as the organizer, was clearly unable to control the situation, let alone provide guidance on dueling techniques.
After the students were divided into pairs, the Great Hall quickly descended into chaos.
The older students were relatively orderly; although their spells occasionally went out of control, they could manage to keep them in check. The younger students, however, were in complete chaos, with beams of spells flying everywhere, and some even resorting to punches.
Seeing that the situation was getting out of control, Lockhart had no choice but to stop the group practice and have two students go on stage to demonstrate instead.
So who will be chosen to go on stage?
That's so hard to guess.
For Morris, the duel between Harry and Draco wasn't anything special until Draco used Serpensortia, a spell that summons snakes.
Upon seeing the snake, Harry began to hiss.
Parseltongue.
Morris immediately realized what was happening.
This is an extremely rare talent; the possessor can communicate with snakes.
He had read about it in " The Great Herpo the Foul," in Herpo the Foul himself was a Parseltongue.
So what does this mean?
Clearly, in the original storyline, Harry was probably the key to finding the Basilisk that roamed the castle.
Yes, the Chosen One, that makes sense.
Morris looked around and found that almost all the students were staring blankly at Harry, their faces filled with surprise and doubt.
"What's wrong?" He nudged Kyle beside him.
Kyle pointed to the stage, his voice faltering. " Heir of Slytherin."
Why do you say that?
Kyle leaned close to his ear and whispered, " Slytherin himself was a Parseltongue, Harry Potter must be his descendant."
"I see, "Morris nodded.
The misunderstanding that Harry is the Heir of Slytherin may continue for a long time.
As Morris had predicted, after the Duelling Club incident, almost everyone treated Harry as the true heir in the following days, avoiding him like the plague.
Despite the professors' repeated insistence that there was no evidence, once the seeds of fear and suspicion were sown, they were difficult to eradicate.
Just a few days later, another piece of bad news spread throughout the school.
A third and fourth victim appeared.
This time, the petrified ones are Nearly Headless Nick ghost of Gryffindor, and Justin Finch-Fletchley, a Hufflepuff boy.
The Basilisk can even petrify ghosts?
Morris was very curious about this and went to check out the Hospital Wing.
He discovered that after the ghost was petrified, its body turned completely black, but it still retained the characteristics of a ghost, and the living could not touch it.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere inside the castle had become extremely oppressive; everyone was restless, fearing they would be the next victim.
Morris thought Dumbledore must be extremely anxious and worried right now.
If the number of victims continues to rise, Hogwarts may have to close down.
Finally, the semester ended, and the Christmas holidays arrived.
With the students gone, Hogwarts Castle became much quieter.
Morris chose to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because he had no plans to go out and felt more comfortable at home.
If it's absolutely necessary to get out, it's not entirely impossible— the Weasley Twins know a great many secret passages.
Besides that, he had something even more important to do.
That was the fire dragon skeleton in the Forbidden Forest, which had finally been completely removed and restored to its original state.
The price he paid was that his Dragon Blood reserves were completely depleted.
Because many studies require Dragon Blood, Morris ordered some more from Borgin and Burkes.
This caused his financial situation to plummet once again.
On Christmas Eve, after breakfast, Morris went straight to the Seventh Floor of the castle and walked back and forth three times in front of the tapestry depicting the Troll beating Barnabas the Barmy.
When the door to the Room of Requirement appeared, he eagerly pushed it open and went inside.
In a spacious, empty room, the enormous dragon skeleton is placed in the center, gleaming with a warm, jade-like luster.
The Undead Creature Transformation Magic Circle around the skeleton has been set up and is ready to begin at any time.
Everything is ready.
Without hesitation, Morris immediately began the ceremony.
"The world of the living has not forgotten you, and the peaceful rest of death is not your final chapter."
As expected.
After the chanting ended, as with all the previous rituals, the lines that formed the magic circle began to flow slowly, all of them penetrating into the skeleton.
Soul fire ignited in the eye sockets of the fire dragon skeleton, and its entire body trembled slowly. Finally, with a sound of bones grinding together, the skeleton slowly stood up.
The ceremony was successfully completed!
Unfortunately, because the ceiling was relatively low, the Bone Dragon could only tuck its neck in and fold its wings.
However, its momentum was undoubtedly astonishing.
This is a living fire dragon with only bones!
Morris imagined how others would react when they saw it.
Fear? Awe? Perhaps both.
Okay, that's not important.
Morris walked up to the Bone Dragon and looked up at the pale creature.
The Bone Dragon sensed his presence and, like a loyal dog, lowered its massive head before him.
The cold forehead pressed against Morris's palm; it was cold, but it made him feel very at ease.
Unfortunately, like other undead creatures besides Guantou Yanhua, Bone Dragon are not very intelligent and can only understand the simplest commands.
After all, this fire dragon skeleton is at least several hundred years old, and its soul has long since dissipated in the river of time.
Meow~
Suddenly, the figure of the Guantou food appeared at Morris's feet— Morris had granted him free access to the Undead Creature Containment Magic Circle.
The undead cat curiously examined the enormous skeleton before it, its eyes showing no fear, but rather a hint of satisfaction.
Great, finally a henchman who looks fairly imposing has arrived.
The Guantou nimbly jumped onto the drooping head of the Bone Dragon, curled up, and lay down.
The Bone Dragon offered no resistance; its soul fire pulsed steadily, and it even slightly adjusted its posture to make the little guy more comfortable.
Morris smiled slightly upon seeing this.
There seems to be some kind of subtle connection between its undead creatures, allowing them to recognize each other.
"Alright, Guantou, it's time to go."
Morris flicked his clothes, and the giant Bone Dragon vanished instantly. Guantou, caught off guard, crashed to the floor with a whimper.
... Feel sorry."
After picking up his silly cat, Morris immediately left the Room of Requirement.
The Bone Dragon had already been captured by him and placed into the Undead Creature Containment Magic Circle.
Incidentally, his Undead Creature Containment Magic Circle has been expanded many times over, making it more than capable of accommodating this behemoth.
