While Patronus are the bane of Dementor, they cannot completely kill them; they can only drive them away and weaken them.

But that's enough.

Morris crouched down, opened the briefcase, and threw it over.

The ravens spun around, surrounding the Dementor and herding it like ducks, forcing it onto the suitcase.

The next second, the Dementor suddenly stretched and twisted, and was sucked in like a wisp of black smoke.

At the same time, the ravens turned into silver mist and slowly dissipated.

The whole process took only a few seconds.

"Done."

Morris clapped his hands in satisfaction, stepped forward, and picked up the suitcase.

Dementor captured successfully!

He wanted to see exactly what kind of structure this creature had.

Morris was about to turn back to the cubicle when another Dementor spawned in the distance down the corridor.

He stopped.

Is one enough?

Morris stood in the middle of the corridor, carrying his briefcase, deep in thought about the problem.

Hmm, not quite enough.

The Ministry of Magic has a considerable number of Dementor; it's quite normal for a few to occasionally get lost, right?

Morris raised his wand and slowly approached the Dementor, intending to repeat his previous trick.

However, before he could even utter the incantation...

"Careful!"

A silver light flashed from behind Morris, and the Dementor vanished instantly.

Well, the duck that was about to be eaten has flown away.

Morris sighed helplessly and turned to look.

A middle-aged man stood at the end of the corridor, his wand still raised in the air.

Clearly, it was he who used the Patronus Charm to drive the Dementor away.

"Are you alright?" The man quickly stepped forward, his gaze sweeping over Morris. Relieved to see he was unharmed, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Go back to your compartment, child. Don't come out; it's dangerous outside."

"No problem," Morris said, then paused and asked, "But... who are you?"

He was certain he had never seen this face before—haggard, pale, and looking extremely tired, like Frick after a night of drinking with Madam Caroline.

The man quickly replied, "I am Remus Lupin, the new professor at Hogwarts this semester."

Morris paused for a moment, " Dark Magic Defence Class?"

"Yes," Lupin said.

"I see." Morris nodded, casting a sympathetic glance his way.

Professors of Dark Magic Defence Class never have a good ending; they either die or are maimed.

Anyone still willing to teach this course at Hogwarts now either has ulterior motives or is mentally unstable.

I have no idea where Dumbledore got all these scoundrels from.

As for this guy in front of me... Morris can only wish him good luck.

Lupin felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze.

"Go back quickly," he urged, his tone more urgent than before.

"Yes, Professor Lupin." Morris obediently turned around.

But he hadn't taken two steps when another Dementor appeared out of nowhere and blocked his way.

"Careful!"

Lupin raised his wand behind him, Morris chanted the spell, " Expecto Patronum!"

Several silver ravens appeared instantly, and driven by the powerful Patronus, the Dementor fled in terror.

After doing all that, Morris turned and winked at Lupin. "Goodbye."

He actually mastered the Patronus Charm?

Lupin looked surprised.

I don't know what grade they were in.

After Morris returned to his cubicle, the three men immediately surrounded him, bombarding him with questions about what exactly that thing had been.

" Dementor." Morris placed the suitcase back under his seat. "Sent by the Ministry of Magic, probably to arrest Sirius Black."

" Dementor?" Fred looked shaken. "I'd only ever heard of it; this is the first time I've ever seen one in person."

George, still shaken, said, "Luckily, it didn't suck away all our joy. Morris, how did you deal with it?"

" The Patronus Charm," Morris said truthfully. "If you'd like to learn, I can teach you. It's not difficult for you if you're willing to practice."

The twins exchanged a glance.

"Of course I want to learn." Fred put his arm around Morris's shoulder and said with a smile, "Tell me, how much more are you hiding?"

Morris smiled slightly.

What's hidden?

There are too many.

Take it one step at a time, no rush.

Lee Jordan suddenly spoke up, "Wait, the Ministry of Magic put the Dementor on the train, does that mean they'll be coming to Hogwarts with us?"

"Obviously," Fred affirmed.

As soon as he finished speaking, the lights in the carriage came back on.

The search for the Dementor should be coming to an end.

The train finally arrived at the station.

Morris, carrying a suitcase, stood on the platform of Hogsmeade Station with the students.

It was raining heavily and very cold.

"First-grade students..."

Hagrid's lantern swayed in the rain, and the new students crowded around his feet like a flock of soaking wet chicks.

He shouted something at the top of his lungs, but the rain was too loud, and Morris only heard " Black Lake " and "Don't be afraid."

Clearly, the new students were about to experience Hogwarts tradition: crossing the Black Lake in a small boat.

Morris felt it necessary to provide those ships with a roof, or at least a waterproofing spell.

Suddenly, the briefcase in his hand began to shake violently.

"He's not being honest," Morris muttered to himself.

"What's wrong?"

Fred, who was standing next to him, immediately noticed.

"Fine."

Morris crouched down, opened the box a crack, reached inside with his wand, and whispered, " Expecto Patronum."

A flash of silver light, and the suitcase quickly fell silent.

Fred didn't ask any further questions.

The crowd began to move, entering a muddy road.

Soon they arrived at an open space, where the carriage was not far away. The Thestral stood there quietly, the rain hitting them as if they had vanished into thin air.

Of course, Morris could see the Thestral.

When the Thestral noticed his appearance, they all turned around and called out to him joyfully.

One of the foals even rushed over from the other side of the herd and came right up to him.

Morris crouched down and gently stroked its neck.

He was still just as popular with these creatures.

"You can see Thestral, right?"

George's voice came from the rain.

"Hmm," Morris nodded, rising to follow the twins towards the carriage. "Can't you see?"

"Unfortunately, no." George shook his head.

"But—" Fred leaned closer, a smug look on his face, "I rode it."

George sighed. "That wasn't a good experience."

Morris became interested. "Tell me about it."

George nodded, making no attempt to hide anything. " Professor Kettleburn introduced us to this creature in last year's Care of Magical Creatures. Fred forced his way onto it and was then thrown into the Black Lake."

"At least I tried," Fred said proudly.

Professor Kettleburn?

Morris remembers that he retired this year.
