Inside the Great Hall of Hogwarts, the Sorting Ceremony was proceeding smoothly.

" Ravenclaw!"

With the Sorting Hat's shouts, the last freshman stumbled towards the Ravenclaw table, and the Sorting Ceremony concluded successfully.

Morris clapped along with the others, glancing down at the briefcase at his feet.

A faint white light shone through the cracks in the box.

Just now, his Dementor started acting up again, so he had to stuff a few more Patronus Ravens into the tank.

I have no idea what the situation is like inside.

Kyle, sitting next to him, keenly sensed something was amiss.

" Morris," he turned to the side, his gaze falling on the ordinary-looking suitcase, and asked with a puzzled look, "Why did you bring your luggage? Don't you have House-elf?"

"Never mind it." Morris waved his hand, changing the subject, "The principal is about to speak, listen carefully."

Kyle said "Oh," and turned his gaze back to the stage.

He was just asking casually.

Then, he suddenly noticed the suitcase shaking violently.

"?"

Now he was genuinely curious.

Meanwhile, Dumbledore is announcing staff changes for the current semester.

First, there's Remus Lupin, the middle-aged man Morris met on the train.

As he himself stated, he will be the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor.

Morris still wished him good luck in his heart.

In addition, Rubeus Hagrid was appointed as the new professor of the Care of Magical Creatures.

To be honest, this was not something Morris had expected.

Hagrid doesn't seem like the type to be competent in teaching—mainly due to his personality.

Morris had a vague premonition that problems would soon arise in this course.

Dumbledore then explained the situation with the Dementor, which was the most pressing concern for everyone at the moment.

"... The Dementor will be stationed at all entrances and exits of Hogwarts until the Ministry of Magic captures Sirius Black."

His voice reached everyone's ears clearly.

The students began to whisper among themselves; most of them had already experienced the creature's terrifying presence on the train.

"I must emphasize," Dumbledore began again, his tone calm and serious, " Dementor are dangerous, extremely dangerous. No attack will work on them. However, as long as you don't try to sneak out of the school, there won't be any problems. They will only stay in specific areas."

His gaze swept across the room, finally settling on Ravenclaw, and he added, "Don't have any extra curiosity about them either."

To whom was this said?

I never would have guessed.

Morris pretended not to hear and looked down at his briefcase.

The Dementor inside have fallen completely silent.

"That's all I have to say," Dumbledore hand. "Eat."

The space on the table was instantly filled with a variety of food.

The students were quickly distracted by the delicious food, and their whispers were gradually replaced by the clinking of knives and forks.

Although Dementor are terrifying, they're not targeting them, so there's no need to panic.

The banquet concluded successfully.

Morris returned to his dormitory and immediately crawled into his suitcase.

His trunk has been expanded several times and is now a large storage room.

In the corner of the room, the Dementor huddled in a ball, surrounded by the raven Patronus, trembling with fear.

Even from a distance, Morris could still feel the faint chill emanating from the air.

The Dementor sensed his presence and immediately raised its head, looking ready to pounce.

Unfortunately, with Patronus watching it intently, it dared not make a move.

Morris took a few steps forward and tried to reach out his hand.

Just as his hand was about to touch the other person, a chill suddenly shot up from his fingertips and went straight to the top of his head.

"Hiss"

This feeling is truly exhilarating.

Morris immediately withdrew his hand, realizing that direct contact with the other person would be dangerous.

This makes research impossible.

Is there any way to instantly incapacitate Dementor?

Morris stared at the creature huddled in the corner, lost in thought.

" The Weakening Curse."

He tentatively used a curse spell.

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

The released gray mist slid right past the Dementor without even touching it.

Morris frowned.

He tried again from a different angle.

The result was the same.

Ask someone else.

Morris flicked the hem of his robe, and the figure of Skeleton Wolf appeared in the room.

" Tom, do you know how to knock out Dementor? Or just kill it?" he asked.

A red glint flashed in Tom's eyes. "I'm sorry, Master. I don't know anything about this kind of creature."

"Useless fellow."

Morris muttered something to himself and stepped out of the briefcase.

There's no other way; it seems the only option is to slowly weaken the opponent using Patronus.

Anyway, he's not in a hurry; he has plenty of time.

Let's go to sleep first.

The next morning, Morris strolled into the Great Hall, enjoying breakfast while flipping through the newly distributed class schedule.

Because he had selected all the elective courses, his schedule was very chaotic, sometimes requiring him to attend three classes at the same time.

Fortunately, he can choose the classes that interest him.

In fact, Hermione's schedule should be similar to his.

Using Time-Turner to teach three classes at the same time is probably not a pleasant experience.

Just thinking about it makes me tired.

The first lesson was Divination.

He had met the professor of the course, a witch named Sybill Trelawney, who had a somewhat eccentric air about her.

"Ah, Divination." Kyle leaned closer. "You chose this one too."

Morris nodded, took a sip of Pumpkin Juice, and said, "Yes, I've chosen."

Qiu Zhang, who was not far away, heard their conversation, put down his fork, and turned around.

"The final exam for this course is easy to pass," she said. "The only downside is that Trelawney might randomly Prophecy during class that a few students will die soon afterward."

"It sounds like a curse," Morris said nonchalantly. "Has it ever worked?"

"Never," Cho Chang shook her head. "If her Prophecy were all accurate, Hogwarts would be deserted long ago."

Hmm, not very reliable.

Morris closed his schedule and focused on the breakfast in front of him.

The Divination classroom is at the very top of the North Tower, and it takes quite a while just to climb up there.

Morris entered the classroom and looked around.

The interior layout, however, seemed quite mysterious.

The walls were lined with shelves piled high with tools for the task. Various spheres, some covered, hung from the ceiling by ropes. A huge wool carpet covered the floor with a jumble of symbols.

There were about twenty small round tables in the center, some of which were already occupied.

Morris casually picked an empty table and sat down, waiting for the professor to arrive.
