After listening to Morris's story, Professor McGonagall remained silent for a long while, her expression becoming even more serious than before.

On the other side, Snape stood with his arms crossed, staring blankly at Morris.

He spoke in a completely emotionless tone, "You should have reported this immediately."

Morris shrugged indifferently.

He initially thought it was just an ordinary student trying to steal something; who knew it would turn out like this?

By this time, Madam Pomfrey had completed her initial examination of Moody, and her face was grim. " Moody has been struck by the Imperius Curse. The condition is very serious, and it has lasted for too long. He will probably need a long period of rest to recover. It would be best to prepare some food and supplements for him now, and feed them to him when he wakes up."

Dumbledore. "How long will it take?"

"It's hard to say," Madam Pomfrey shook her head, "It could be a few days, or it could be a few months."

Dumbledore sighed. "This is terrible. Perhaps Sirius will have to be solely responsible for Dark Magic Defence Class from now on."

Madam Pomfrey conjured a floating stretcher and carried Moody away.

Dumbledore then instructed, " Minerva, you and Severus go and bring Barty Crouch Jr. from the back door to my office. I'm going to write to Fudge and Crouch... Hopefully old Crouch is alright; he might know something."

Professor McGonagall nodded and turned to walk towards the door without hesitation.

Snape's gaze lingered on Morris for a second or two before following Professor McGonagall.

Only Dumbledore, Morris, and the two Weasley remained in the room.

"Can we go now?" Morris asked.

There's no point in staying any longer.

For him, the matter was over.

In conclusion, he was unharmed, and the murderer has been arrested—a perfect ending.

"Certainly."

Dumbledore gave him a gentle smile, "Go to the ball. You might even have time to dance. Miss Delacour was quite angry about your sudden disappearance."

"She forgave me." Morris smiled slightly.

The three quickly returned to the Great Hall.

The dance was from eight o'clock to twelve o'clock, and everyone was still dancing, completely unaware of what was happening outside.

" Fred!"

As soon as they stepped through the gate, Angelina rushed up to them.

She was Fred's dance partner, wearing a long dress and with her hair meticulously styled, looking completely different from when she played Quidditch.

Unfortunately, her expression was quite displeased at that moment.

"Where have you been?" Angelina said angrily. "I've looked for you everywhere!"

Fred immediately raised his hands in surrender, "Let me explain, Angelina..."

Morris looked around and quickly found Phoebe on a chair against the wall. She was absentmindedly drinking her beverage, her beautiful eyes looking somewhat vacant.

She didn't come to her senses until Morris walked right up to her.

She looked up, put down her cup, and asked, "Is it resolved?"

"Yes," Morris sat down beside her, "The real Professor Moody has been found, and he's alright."

Phoebe said "Oh" and twirled the cup in her hand.

Clearly, what had just happened still unsettled her.

"Want to dance?" Morris asked.

"Okay." Phoebe put down her cup, looked up at him, smiled, and offered her hand.

Since it's over, there's no point in thinking about it anymore.

Morris took her hand and led her onto the dance floor, where the band was playing a soothing tune.

But as soon as he reached the edge of the dance floor, Morris suddenly froze.

"What's wrong?" Phoebe asked curiously.

"I just remembered something." Morris's expression was subtle.

"What?"

I can't dance.

His only skill is the Manticore Mating Dance, which is clearly not very suitable for this occasion.

Upon hearing this, Phoebe burst out laughing.

"Okay," she said happily, "I'll teach you, just follow my movements."

It turns out that Morris's dancing talent was actually quite poor.

After playing the entire piece, his body became even more stiff.

But Phoebe looked very happy, with a faint smile always on her lips.

Unfortunately, the intermission was over, the Weird Sisters that was playing music walked off the stage, and the music stopped abruptly.

The crowd on the dance floor gradually dispersed, some gathering in twos and threes to chat, others going out for a walk.

As soon as Morris and Phoebe left, Ludo approached them with a beaming smile.

He wore a suit in a similar color to his Quidditch robe, the bright yellow being particularly eye-catching.

"I'm so glad you two didn't fight," he patted Morris on the shoulder, looking pleased. "What a perfect match you are. By the way, Morris, where were you at the beginning? Miss Delacour was looking everywhere for you, and—"

" Mr. Bagman," Phoebe interrupted him politely.

Ludo chuckled awkwardly, stroking his round chin. "Alright, alright, Morris, do you know where Dumbledore is?"

" The Headmaster's Office," Morris said.

"Um?

Ludo paused, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. "What's he doing back in his office at this hour? I need to go find him."

He waved to the two of them, "See you later, have fun."

"See you later," Morris said.

After that, Morris enjoyed the rest of the time.

The next day, when Morris entered the Great Hall, he found it had been restored to its original state.

The students sat together, eating breakfast and chatting, everything seemed the same as usual.

Morris went to his seat, and Kyle sat down next to him, yawning, his eyes not fully open and his hair a mess like a bird's nest.

"I couldn't sleep," Kyle mumbled, grabbing a piece of toast and stuffing it into his mouth, "So I spent the whole night doing my holiday homework."

"He's ruthless, "Morris thought to himself.

At this moment, Phoebe walked in from outside and sat down next to him.

"Good morning," she said with a smile.

"Good morning," Morris replied.

After a brief greeting, the two began eating their breakfast on their own.

Kyle's gaze darted between Morris and Phoebe twice.

He put down his toast and asked in a low voice, "Are you two getting along very well now?"

"It's alright, we're just ordinary friends," Morris said casually.

"Just friends?" Kyle muttered, then suddenly remembered something, leaned close to Morris's ear, and whispered even lower, " Morris, since you're friends, you could try to get information about the Golden Egg from them!"

"Don't forget, your egg is already broken!"

That sounds really strange.

Morris turned to his head and replied, "It's alright, I think I should be able to handle the game."

"Suit yourself." Kyle shrugged. "I was just giving you a heads-up."

" Morris!"

Suddenly, a voice came.

Morris turned his head and saw that it was Roger Davies.

This is his good neighbor, who helped him repair the dormitory wall when he was in first grade.

Roger continued to Morris, "The headmaster wants you to go to his office."
