Morris walked up to the shallow stone basin and stopped.
The Pensieve was filled with a silvery-white, translucent liquid, completely still, giving it an unreal feel.
Immediately afterwards, he took out a crystal bottle from his pocket, uncorked it, and used his wand to transfer the memories inside into the Pensieve.
After burying his face in the liquid, a cool sensation came over him, and the next second, Morris felt as if he had been pulled into a vortex.
With a blink of an eye, he was back in the tower of Nurmengard.
The purpose of the Pensieve is to allow one to relive a memory from an outsider's perspective.
But Grindelwald's memory was different; it had probably been tampered with. Morris tried to look around and was surprised to find himself fixed in Grindelwald's perspective.
Watching " Morris " drip blood onto his plate, Morris couldn't help but feel a little strange.
That said, what exactly did Grindelwald want him to see?
Just as he was thinking this, the blood in the basin suddenly began to change.
They moved and reorganized slowly in the basin, eventually transforming into a blood-red mark.
Morris was very familiar with this mark.
A triangle, a circle, and a vertical line.
Without a doubt, this is the mark of the Deathly Hallows.
Is this Grindelwald's vision?
Morris found it amazing because he remembered very clearly that he didn't see the blood turn into anything at that time.
"Call""
Morris lifted his head from the Pensieve and exhaled.
So, what does this pattern represent?
Should he be sent to find the Deathly Hallows?
To be honest, he had been interested in the Deathly Hallows for a long time, but he had no idea where those three items were, or even a clue.
Oh, right, Grindelwald seems to have mentioned before that he once possessed the Elder Wand.
The Elder Wand, the Invisibility Cloak, the Resurrection Stone.
Legend has it that whoever obtains the three Deathly Hallows will become the master of Death, and he happens to have an enemy who calls himself " Death."
Well, it should still be worth studying.
While Morris was thinking, Dumbledore suddenly spoke up.
I thought only people my age needed to sort out their memories.
He had finished his conversation with Sirius and was leisurely sipping a cup of tea.
"Oh, these aren't my memories; they were given to me by someone else, which is why I came to borrow the Pensieve to see its contents."
As Morris explained, he waved his wand, retrieving the memories from the Pensieve and putting them back into the crystal bottle.
He turned around and looked at Dumbledore, Dumbledore winked at him.
Sirius had somehow gotten into an armchair not far from Morris and casually asked, "Was that a very important memory?"
"Hmm... it's not important," Morris replied. "It's my personal matter."
"Ah, then I shouldn't have asked." Sirius crossed his legs.
Morris looked at him, then suddenly realized something.
" Sirius, did you successfully withstand the curse from the Dark Magic Defence Class?"
Last semester Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts were Moody and Sirius.
Moody, needless to say, was attacked before even starting work, but Sirius certainly survived the entire semester.
This should be the first time since the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor was cursed that someone has gone through a full school year without encountering any misfortune.
"That's true," Sirius stood up. "In fact, Professor Dumbledore and I were just discussing this."
"What conclusions did you reach in your discussion?" Morris asked curiously.
"No results," Sirius shrugged. "Maybe I'm just lucky? Don't worry, I'll still be the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts next year."
"But the curse remains, without a doubt," Dumbledore's voice came from the direction of the desk, " Sirius, I'm afraid I can no longer put you in this position."
Sirius looked on with disbelief.
"Why?"
Dumbledore looked at him gently and said softly, "I will give you a more important task, you should know that."
Sirius sighed helplessly, "Alright."
Although he longed to stay at Hogwarts as a teacher so he could spend more time with Harry, he understood what was most important at the moment.
"So what about the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor next semester?" Sirius asked. " Voldemort is back, and I think the students must learn more ways to protect themselves."
" The Ministry of Magic will send someone to help," Dumbledore replied calmly.
"Isn't this pushing people into a fire pit?" Morris muttered under his breath.
I wonder which lucky person will be it.
Being Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts is a life-threatening job.
"Who is the specific candidate?" Sirius pressed.
Dumbledore shook his head. "I've already discussed it with Fudge. The Ministry of Magic will send more than one person to assist, including Auror. As for the actual Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, nothing has been decided yet."
"Not bad," Sirius snorted.
He was never very satisfied with the Ministry of Magic.
Especially recently, although Fudge has made an explanation for Voldemort's return, his wording has been vague, and he has spent all his efforts on shirking responsibility.
This has led to many people completely failing to understand the urgency of the current situation.
" Professor Dumbledore, do you know anything about the Deathly Hallows?" Morris suddenly asked.
This is probably a meaningless question; a wizard like Dumbledore couldn't possibly have been unaware of it.
Sure enough, Dumbledore replied, "If you're referring to the Elder Wand, the Invisibility Cloak, and the Resurrection Stone, then of course I know. Most wizards heard the Peverell Brothers' story when they were young, and I'm no exception."
"That's just a fairy tale," Sirius said with a laugh. "You don't actually believe it, do you?"
Dumbledore glanced silently at his wand on the table.
"I think the Deathly Hallows exist," Morris said, leaning against the wall with a serious expression. "I'm trying to collect them."
Dumbledore stood up and said slowly, " The Elder Wand, the Invisibility Cloak, the Resurrection Stone —collecting all three allows one to become the master of Death. Morris, you must be collecting the Deathly Hallows because of this legend."
"Hmm..." Morris stroked his chin, "Actually, I just want to collect them. As for becoming the master of Death, that doesn't matter, because to me that's a lie."
Dumbledore, then asked, "If you really got them, what would you do?"
This issue involves privacy.
However, Morris didn't seem to care. After thinking for a moment, he replied, "For research? Or to put in the living room as a decoration?"
Dumbledore was thinking.
