Leo had only demonstrated such a terrifying attack twice. The first time was in a Level 3 gladiatorial match, when his Atomic Breath swept across a mountain and sliced off a third of it.
This is the second time!
This is a terrifying attack launched against a Level-Four World Lord!
Under the continuous attack of up to 110,000 Atomic Breath, the entire brain of the God of Gnoll was pierced!
Leo guessed correctly; the God of Gnoll's physical defense was indeed powerful, and attacks of 70,000 to 80,000 damage would hardly cause any injury.
However, his internal body was extremely vulnerable, and it was directly pierced through by the Atomic Breath!
The pale blue beams of light from the Vengeance Giant's mouth continued to blast towards the brains of the God of Gnoll.
He only had this one chance; he would not stop attacking until he saw the God of Gnoll completely dead.
"Boom"
At the end of the pale blue Atomic Breath, the God of Gnoll's entire head exploded, and the vaporized brain matter, carrying a foul odor, filled the air.
Yet, this nauseating stench was like fine wine to the Vengeance Giant.
The God of Gnoll is dead!
Even with only one eyeball remaining, the yellow eye was still staring at the Vengeance Giant. Even in his complete death, disbelief still lingered in his eyes, as if the God of Gnoll could not accept such an end until his final death!
He was killed by a level 3 life form he looked down upon!
He is the World Lord!
How could he die so easily??
Unfortunately, no matter how unwilling the God of Gnoll was, the final outcome would not be changed!
That is, in this life-or-death battle, he lost.
The price was his death!
Leo won, so Leo is still alive!
The pale blue light disappeared, indicating that the nuclear fission energy had been exhausted.
The Vengeance Giant, who was at the peak of his power, weakened instantly, to the point of being almost imperceptible. This was not due to the Godslaying Wizard Robe's ability to conceal his aura, but rather because the Vengeance Giant was too weak.
Without the Vengeance Giant's magical support, all the vines binding the two quickly shortened back onto the Godslaying Staff.
The Godslaying Staff had stretched to a thousand meters, shrank back to a little over a meter long and was being dragged through the air by Yaoyao effort.
Freed from the vines' hold, the God of Gnoll and the Vengeance Giant fell from the sky to the ground.
Despite the immense pain, the Vengeance Giant immediately restored the skeletal structure within his body, releasing the God of Gnoll's arms and pulling them out of his body.
The next instant, Shadow Space opened beneath the corpse of the God of Gnoll God of Gnoll, causing the corpse to fall into it on its own.
This is crucial to my advancement to the Stigmata; as long as I have a breath left, I cannot discard the corpse of the God of Gnoll.
After doing all this, the Vengeance Giant quickly reverted to his Bloodline True Body and returned to human form. His severe injuries left him powerless, and he collapsed to the ground in a sorry state.
Controlling one's own flight should have been the easiest thing for Level Three Great Wizard, but unfortunately, Leo was seriously injured and on the verge of death, and all his magical power was exhausted, so he could not even do the most basic thing of controlling his own body to fly.
Yaoyao dragged the Godslaying Staff and handed it to Leo, allowing the energy in the staff to quickly replenish the depleted mana in Leo's body.
The pulsating heart at the tip of the staff was like a powerful engine, each beat supplying Leo's body with energy, allowing Leo withered body to once again be nourished by magical power.
With magical power returning to his body, Leo's deathly pale face improved slightly, and his breathing became a little heavier.
If there is no more energy to nourish him, Yaoyao will worry that Leo will die from his serious injuries!
Only now did Yaoyao realize just how severe Leo's injuries were. His entire abdomen had been blasted open, leaving a hole of equal size from front to back, with his internal organs and spine completely gone.
If it weren't for the skin connecting the two sides, Leo would have been punched in two by the God of Gnoll.
Of the five internal organs of a normal person Leo only had two and a half left: his heart and stomach. This was the result of Leo deliberately protecting them to avoid the attack of the God of Gnoll. His heart was the foundation for his survival, and his stomach was the site of nuclear fission.
Apart from the heart and stomach, half of the lungs continued to absorb air and perform their function, while the rest of the internal organs were all destroyed.
Fortunately, his body instinctively clamped down on all the severed blood vessels, preventing Leo from bleeding to death!
There was also a huge wound running from front to back on his shoulder, with only a little flesh connecting it; otherwise, his entire arm would have been blown off!
This was the most serious injury. As for the other, slightly less serious injuries, there were countless wounds all over his body, with numerous dense, shallow and deep wounds covering every inch of Leo's skin.
What may appear to be merely superficial injuries have actually ruptured the bones within the body.
The God of Gnoll's final attack was terrifying; Leo was too close and took the full brunt of it.
If it weren't for the timely Vine Entanglement from the Godslaying Staff, Leo would have been completely shattered by the yellow light emanating from the God of Gnoll in just a few seconds!
Such a wound would be considered a serious injury on anyone else, but it was only a minor injury on Leo!
Leo's breath was extremely weak; he didn't even have the strength to move a finger. You could say he was like a broken porcelain doll that was barely stuck together, as if he would shatter completely if subjected to even the slightest external force.
Despite such injuries, Leo remained unresponsive, acting as if the injuries were not his own.
Weak, severely injured, and on the verge of death, yet nothing could diminish the brilliance of those eyes!
With the energy flowing into his body from the Godslaying Staff, his wounds were slowly healing, but at an unprecedentedly slow pace.
His injuries had exceeded the rate at which nuclear radiation could heal. His wounds could only heal one by one, but the two large holes in his stomach and shoulders showed no signs of improvement!
"This injury is so severe, I don't know how long it will take to recover."
Yaoyao wanted to find a healing potion to at least speed up Leo's recovery. Next was the all-out attack on the entire Gnoll World, and without Leo, those wizards wouldn't feel confident.
Just as Yaoyao was trying to find a cure, she heard a loud pounding of her heart coming from Leo's chest.
Like the sounding of war drums,
"Bang bang bang"
The loud noise even kicked up dust from the ground beneath Leo!
What happened?
Yaoyao jumped onto Leo and cried out anxiously. Leo's body was extremely fragile, and his heart was beating so hard that it could easily shatter his last hope of survival.
Leo's entire body was vibrating in rhythm with his heartbeat. The wound that was just beginning to heal was shaken open by the powerful force of his heartbeat!
Through the hole in her abdomen, you could see her heart pounding; the blood vessels that had been sealed off had ruptured again with this beating.
His body was once again stained with blood. Leo looked at Yaoyao on his chest, completely oblivious to the pain in his body. Instead, he smiled at Yaoyao.
"I feel like I'm about to be promoted to Stigmata!!"
"Send me back to the Wizard World! I can't advance here."
Upon hearing Leo's words, Yaoyao's big eyes shone brightly, and the worry on her face instantly turned into joy. Leo had previously said that as long as he killed the God of Gnoll, he could advance to the Stigmata.
Yaoyao remained puzzled by this matter and repeatedly asked Leo why this was happening and what the underlying principle was.
As it turned out, Leo didn't know either; he only sensed from his body's instinct that as long as he killed the God of Gnoll, he could advance in rank.
As for how to get promoted, we'll only find out after we kill the Gnoll!
They've killed him now, and they haven't even done anything yet.
Your chance for promotion is here!
Yaoyao cheered loudly and immediately opened the Shadow Space, summoning the puppet Benji and the remaining two hundred or so level-two male ants. She had the puppet Benji unfold its true form, carefully placed the almost fragile Leo on Benji's back, and under the protection of the male ants, ran towards the space passage.
Nothing is more important than Leo's promotion right now!
Once Leo completes his advancement and becomes Stigmata Wizard, these things will no longer be a problem!
Passing through the space tunnel,
The academy's main force has not yet arrived; at their marching speed, it will take them at least a day to get there.
This location is within the former territory and influence of the Black Skull Academy, thousands of kilometers away from the location of the Leo Academy.
It was only at the speed at which all the High-Rank Wizard Apprentice were carried here by the Gulu Beast that they were able to get here in one day. Otherwise, if the apprentices had to walk, it would have taken them at least ten days to half a month to get here.
Leo weakly raised his finger, controlling Benji to run away from the spatial passage.
Once he advances to the next level, the energy fluctuations will be extremely large, which could easily affect the stability of the spatial channel.
The current spatial portal was set up by the Mountain Range Guardian. The energy that keeps the portal open is provided by the Mountain Range Guardian connecting it to the Wizard World.
This means that the power of the Wizard World is used to maintain the spatial passage open for a long time, without Leo providing the energy.
This inadvertently saved Leo a huge amount of money.
If the energy fluctuations from the current advancement were to affect the spatial passage, causing it to close or produce other changes, Leo would truly be devastated.
Think back to how the Purple Flame Stigmata Wizard opened the spatial passage to the Jeft World. It consumed countless resources, including millions of energy crystals. To maintain the spatial passage, he even built a huge altar.
If Leo were to provide the energy to maintain this spatial passage, he wouldn't have that kind of money even if he sold himself!
Once they were dozens of kilometers away from the spatial passage, Leo signaled Benji to stop; they were far enough away now.
Under Yaoyao's command, Leo was gently placed on the ground, with all the puppets standing by to protect him.
Is there anything I can do for you?
Yaoyao asked loudly, listening to the increasingly rapid heartbeat in Leo's chest.
