• Shen Heng chose a straight saber, ordered one from Origin Power Alloy, and began basic instruction with Yu Jingming while Xu Yuqin helped him repay Huang Shaohua.
• Huang Shaohua and Gu Zexuan each arranged attacks against Shen Heng, but Wang Hai and the authorities intervened, and Gu Zexuan left with a broken leg.
• Shen Heng sparred with Yu Jingming, then detected signs of a Calamity Beast at school and discovered a Decaying Spore turning people into Spore People.

• Shen Heng and the others helped students escape, and Han Ling killed the last Decaying Spore Guard before Shen Heng directed everyone to gather at the school gate.
• After completing his first round of Bone Tempering, Shen Heng drove Shen Shuning to her college entrance exams and met Zhou Hong at the venue.
