Setting out
The Eternal Paradise Cult.
One of the rooms on the cliff side had its wall open.
Teiichi sat on the edge of the house, with his left foot on the ground and his right foot hanging down.
Kanae and Nezuko sat quietly beside Teiichi, their legs dangling limply outside.
Giyu stood about two meters away from Kanae, holding his sword and looking out the window.
Sanemi, on the other hand, leaned against the wall on Teiichi's side, not admiring the scenery outside like the others.
Teiichi down at the distant, rolling mountains, Dingyi couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
Doma really knows how to enjoy life!
This is like having a huge floor-to-ceiling window in your past life, right?
Even though it's halfway up the mountain, the view is absolutely fantastic!
"Hey, are we just going to wait here forever?" Sanemi said, leaning against the wall, sounding a little impatient.
"Hmm!" Giyu replied simply, then turned to Sanemi, "I think I already talked to you about this before, right?"
Sanemi glanced at Giyu with disgust, then asked:
"What if Doma doesn't come back tonight?"
"Then let's wait again tomorrow night," Giyu replied.
"What if he doesn't come back tomorrow night either?"
"Then we'll continue waiting here the night after tomorrow!"
"What if Doma discovered our arrival today and left, and then never came back?"
Giyu fell silent for a moment upon hearing this, then turned to look at Teiichi.
Teiichi moment and said, "Let's set it for half a month. If they don't come back within half a month, then they've probably discovered our arrival and moved to another place!"
"So, does that mean we might have to wait up to half a month?" Sanemi asked, frowning.
Upon Teiichi, Teiichi chuckled softly, turned to look at Sanemi, and said:
"Didn't you train with Himejima for a while? This past two weeks shouldn't be a big deal for you, right?"
Sanemi snorted upon hearing this, turned his head away, and said:
"Of course it's nothing!"
"That's good!"
Teiichi chuckled lightly, then asked:
"By the way, how did he train you when you were training on Himejima?"
Upon hearing this, Kanae and Giyu also looked at Sanemi with some curiosity.
Clearly, they were also somewhat curious about this.
Seeing Nezuko everyone else was looking at Sanemi, Nezuko also looked in that direction.
Seeing that everyone was looking at him, Sanemi frowned, then scoffed and said:
"Every day I would listen to him chanting scriptures over there, and when he had nothing else to do, he would just sit there facing the waterfall!"
"Didn't he ask you to chant the scriptures with him?" Teiichi light laugh.
"Huh? I'm already lucky to be able to listen to him chant sutras, who would want to chant sutras with him!" Sanemi raised his voice slightly.
"Ah! That's true!" Teiichi nodded slightly, then continued to ask, "How long did you stay with him afterwards?"
"You've been here for two months, why are you asking this?" Sanemi frowned and looked at Teiichi.
"You've already mastered the craft in just two months?" Teiichi eyebrow slightly, somewhat surprised.
"I..."
Sanemi was about to say something, Giyu suddenly interrupted.
Does he look like he's graduated from his apprenticeship?
Upon Teiichi, Dingyi suddenly realized, "So they ran away halfway?"
I knew it! In the last little while, Sanemi seemed a bit calmer. He wasn't as quick to hit people as before, but I could still sense him getting angry occasionally, though he seemed to be trying his best to suppress it.
but...
"Is it really alright for Giyu to say that?"... Teiichi turned his head slightly to look at Giyu.
Sure enough, Giyu's words made Sanemi's lips twitch instantly. He turned to look at Giyu, his eyes seeming to spit fire.
"Hey! Let's duel!!"
Teiichi smiled slightly upon hearing this, and was about to speak to stop them when a crow's cawing rang out.
Wow-wow-!
The moment he heard the crow's cry, Teiichi's heart sank, the smile on his face quickly vanished, and he looked outside.
The others also quickly turned their gazes in that direction upon hearing the sound.
There, a Kasugai Crow flapped its wings and quickly approached.
Soon, the Kasugai Crow arrived outside, but instead of going inside, it flapped its wings in mid-air and announced its arrival.
"The Swordsmith Village has been attacked by Upper Rank Three Doma! Lord Kato, please go to their aid as soon as possible!"
"The Swordsmith Village has been attacked by Upper Rank Three Doma! Lord Kato, please go to their aid as soon as possible!"
The Kasugai Crow's words made the hearts of everyone in the room sink.
"How's the situation in the Swordsmith Village?" Teiichi asked, frowning.
"I don't know! I don't know! The first news we received was that Doma attacked the Swordsmith Village! But Lady Kanroji and Lord Uzui are there, they should be fighting Doma right now!!" Kasugai Crow replied.
"Hey! I came all this way just to find Doma! And you're telling me Doma isn't here?" Sanemi, somewhat annoyed.
Teiichi glanced at Sanemi, not having time to reply, and turned to Kanae, instructing her:
"I'm taking Nezuko with me. You, Giyu, and Sanemi should leave here immediately too. Otherwise, if Doma comes back and teleports Kokushibo and the others here, it'll be troublesome!"
Kanae nodded and replied softly.
"Okay, don't worry! We'll be careful. You should hurry to the Swordsmith Village!"
Upon hearing this, Teiichi slightly, hugged Nezuko who was sitting next to him, and then leaned forward, falling off the cliff.
Watching the figure disappear into the room in an instant, Sanemi and Giyu couldn't help but feel a jolt in their hearts.
Jumping from a height of twenty or thirty meters is one thing, but this temple is built three or four hundred meters above the ground! How dare they jump like that?
The two quickly reached the edge and looked down.
Even Kanae, Teiichi n't help but feel a jolt of fear upon seeing this, and looked down with some apprehension.
Whoosh whoosh--!
The wind howled past Teiichi's ears.
With Teiichi back to the ground, Nezuko in his arms, letting his body fall freely.
A few seconds later, Teiichi deep breath.
The next moment.
A fierce wind blew wildly upwards towards Dingyi.
With the strong wind blowing, the speed of Teiichi descent decreased visibly.
Finally, feeling the ground approaching, Teiichi gently tossed Nezuko upwards from his arms.
Then he quickly turned his body around, with his feet pointing downwards.
Bang!
Teiichi his knees bent.
After dissipating the force of the fall, Teiichi quickly stood up straight and then stretched out his hands.
The next moment.
Bang!
Nezuko fell into Teiichi's arms.
With Teiichi slight twist of his wrist, he hoisted Nezuko onto his back, glanced up at the Kasugai Crow leading the way in the air, and quickly started running.
Inside the room.
Sanemi watched the figure gradually disappear into the distance, his lips twitching slightly, and turned to look at the two people beside him.
"Hey! Are you guys sure this guy is even human?"
