Returning home after completing his studies
The carriage rolled through the wild grass and arrived at Hastinapura. The three people and the god entered Hastinapura together. Karna was a little puzzled, but Bai Mo turned around and said, "What's wrong? After finishing your studies, isn't the first thing you should do to go home?"
Two carriages stopped in front of a house, and a woman stepped out. Upon seeing Karna, she exclaimed with joy, "Karna! My child, you've finally returned!"
The person was his mother, Radha. Feeling his mother's embrace, Karna felt a sense of peace. On the train, he had been worried about how to face his mother and his family, but when he felt this embrace, he realized that his worries were unfounded.
"Karna, these three are..."
Radha realized what was happening and looked at the three: Krishna and Kama, dressed in luxurious clothes, and Bai Mo, who wore strange attire. Given that most people in India were shirtless, Bai Mo's clothes were indeed rather odd.
"Mother, let me introduce you. This is Master Bai Mo, my teacher; this is Vasudeva Krishna; and this is..."
When Karna looked at Kama, he was momentarily speechless. Veins visibly bulged on Kama's little head as he said, "Although we haven't seen each other much in six months, you wouldn't forget me, the one who lives in Bai Mo's room every day, would you?"
Kama was somewhat dissatisfied. This guy was definitely pretending not to recognize him; it wasn't like they hadn't met before. However, apart from having some impression of Kama, Karna truly had no other skills.
Karna's time was usually meticulously planned by Bai Mo from morning till night, and coupled with the ascetic requirements of Rama with the Axe, Karna basically ignored Kama's existence.
If Kama hadn't frequently appeared around Bai Mo, Karna would probably have thought he was some unrelated person.
"Huh? Is that so, Master? She... Although it's legally permissible, the difference between you two... physiologically..."
"Get out of the way. This is Kama, my companion. As for why he shares the same name as the god Kama, please ignore that."
Bai Mo grasped the hand that was slowly drawing a small bow from behind Kama's back, and said with a smile, "It's alright, Karna, you spend some time with your parents first. Krishna, I'll leave Karna to you here."
Then, Bai Mo carried Kama away with both hands, like the shoulder straps of a backpack.
Karna cast a questioning look at Krishna, Krishna responded with an "I don't know" expression. Then, Radha happily led the two into his home.
After Bai Mo led Kama away, she somewhat displeasedly put away her bow.
"That kid definitely did it on purpose... It's not that I'm not just alluring anymore, I've practically lost all my presence..."
"Alright, alright, let's put everything aside for now. It's a rare opportunity to come back to a familiar place; wouldn't it be nice to relax? I also want to explore this city, and I'll need you, a local, as my guide."
Upon hearing Bai Mo's words, Kama's mood changed as quickly as the weather in June or July. He immediately agreed and then pulled Bai Mo towards the market.
Bai Mo had already figured out Gamo's way of getting along with Kama: go along with her when she was angry, and go against her when she wanted to do something wicked.
While sensing the situation in Hastinapura, Bai Mo and Kama arrived at the market. Kama took Bai Mo's hand and led him straight into a fabric shop that looked quite nice. During this time, Bai Mo overheard quite a bit of news.
"Have you heard? The king's sons have all returned from their studies."
"What? Good heavens, are our good days over so soon? Those damned Duryodhana and Hundred Sons are back. Oh my god, it's going to be dark again in Hastinapura."
"Shh, stop talking, you're asking for trouble!"
"On the bright side, Duryodhana Prince Nan Di has matured this time and won't bully us anymore?"
"Believe that Duryodhana will get better, rather believe that I am Indra."
"It seems that Duryodhana's return is not good news for the people of Hastinapura," Bai Mo thought to himself. Duryodhana was the eldest son of Hundred Sons of Dhritarashtra and also the mortal enemy of Pandavas.
His birth was considered an ominous sign, coupled with an uncle who was always thinking about revenge against Hastinapura, and his father Dhritarashtra's doting love, he inevitably became a troublesome child.
If the eldest brother is like this, then the remaining ninety-nine are even more vulnerable. Faced with a hundred demon pills, the people of Hastinapura truly cannot bear it. The days the princes spent studying were the most peaceful days they had ever experienced.
Unfortunately, if it had been earlier, perhaps the root cause could have been addressed directly. However, when Bai Mo arrived in this world, Duryodhana and the others were already training with Drona.
"Since we're here, let's make the best of it and not dwell on what's already happened. If that's the case, we might as well think about why we didn't come before Bhishma to make the vow; then none of this would have happened."
Bai Mo muttered to himself, and then Kama, who was standing next to him, picked up a piece of silk and handed it to Bai Mo.
"Come on, try it on! Don't you find it strange to always wear this robe? Come on, try on some local clothes." Kama looked expectantly at him, while Bai Mo looked at the somewhat revealing clothes and asked:
Don't you think this is too cool?
But I really want to see it.
Kama made a slightly mischievous sticking-out smile, while Bai Mo simply went to pay the bill without giving the clothes a second glance. Kama, seeing this, was not annoyed and simply waved his hand to put them away.
"Oh, you want to wear it tonight, right? I understand."
"No, what do you know..."
However, before Bai Mo could finish speaking, a person walked towards them. Bai Mo glanced at him without showing any emotion. This person was not the one who used the power of "transferring flowers and grafting trees," but a genuine user of Magnetic Field Power.
The Magnetic Field Power is approximately 650,000 horsepower, which is not low.
The man swaggered into the shop and shouted at the shop owner, "Hey, you lackey, give me the finest silk to make two sets of formal wear, and set these gemstones in a full ninety-nine pieces. If you lose even one, I'll kill you."
The man, who looked like a lion, threw the gem he was holding onto the ground.
"Well... sir, our gold silk has already been sold out. After the prince returned from his studies, the king collected all the gold silk in the kingdom. As you know, our country has a total of one hundred and five princes."
"One hundred and five little brats? They really think they're warriors just because they've learned a few things? But don't worry, I can guarantee you won't lack materials, but if you dare not make it for me..."
The burly man grabbed the boss by the neck, but just as he was about to pull hard, a large hand clamped down on his arm.
Bai Mo grabbed the guy with his hand behind his back and said coldly, "Buddy, don't be so quick to resort to violence. Or are you just like those kids, only knowing how to use brute force to make people obey?"
The burly man tried to exert force, but was horrified to find that his strength could hardly flow to his arms, as if a river had encountered a dam.
A master.
The burly man immediately thought of those two words, then released his grip and said, "Mind your own business, young man."
"You lackey, remember my clothes." The burly man pointed at the man, then walked away without looking back. The shopkeeper, catching his breath, hurried over to thank Bai Mo for his righteous help and offered to give Bai Mo a free meal.
"Thank you so much, mighty bull! If it weren't for you, I think I would have been in big trouble. Alas, this is a problem. The king has already ordered all the gold silk I have here. How can I make clothes for him now?"
"Then let's not do it," Bai Mo said casually. "Anyway, that guy didn't put down a deposit."
Then, he gave Kama a look, and Kama extended his thumb, which was burning with a faint flame. On the departing man's shoulder, there was a faint burn mark.
"Krishna right, this power is truly adding fuel to the fire for these ambitious fellows."
