Doppelganger
At Karna's house, Bai Mo was still analyzing the fragments left behind after Yao Lian's death. The decomposition rate of these fragments was slower than that of a normal magnetic field powerhouse.
All of this suggests that the problem is not so simple. Bai Mo clutched a fragment, activating his Magnetic Field Power to sense it, but he only had a very vague sense of direction. It was like trying to find a leaf in a forest, with only a vast expanse of green before him.
"You can't do this. You already have very little connection with this world." Kama came up behind Bai Mo, then stretched out his hand, spreading his slender fingers.
"Try using me as the medium; invisible, yet omnipresent."
Kama walked very intimately to Bai Mo's side, and Bai Mo, seeing this, did not hesitate and handed the constantly disintegrating fragment in his hand to Kama, their hands seemingly clasped together.
"Only in situations like this do I act without hesitation..." Kama muttered softly, her face flushed. Then, through Kama, Bai Mo's senses instantly became clearer.
This time, he clearly sensed that in the distance, in a stone chamber, a muscular Great Han suddenly raised his head. His eyes, like the light of a watchtower, were fixed on Bai Mo. The next instant, the fragment in Bai Mo's hand turned to ashes and vanished with the wind.
"Is there another Yao Lian? Or is this some kind of clone?"
Bai Mo accepted the fact that Yao Lian was most likely still alive. After all, it would be foolish to challenge an immortal Bhishma without having any backing.
"I remember this guy was born under the blessing of an immortal, but because his father made a mistake in carrying out the ritual, he was only born intact after Rakshasa intervened?"
"I didn't expect you to know this guy." Bai Mo clapped his hands and said to Kama. After all, compared to the God of Love Kama, Yao Lian was just a dazzling wave in this long history, and would soon disappear.
Upon hearing this, Kama put his hands on his hips with a touch of pride.
"Of course, that's the knowledge God has accumulated." Kama breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that it was indeed the right decision to brush up on the situation of this era during the time when Bai Mo was training Karna.
"The king had no children, so a fairy bestowed a fruit upon him. However, the king had two beloved concubines, so he had no choice but to divide the fruit in two and give them to each other. Later, one of the two concubines gave birth to one half, which was then sewn back together by Rakshasa woman. Thus, the two halves were named— Yao Lian."
Bai Mo muttered to himself, "What will happen when the magical blessings of India meet the Magnetic Field Power?" Bai Mo cast a questioning look at Kama.
Even if you look at me with that kind of expression. "I don't know how to do this, please help me, Teacher Kama," it won't work. As an India god, I gave up trying to understand the workings of this world a long time ago.
Even if you asked Indra, you'd probably get the same answer, "I don't know."
"Yeah, just thinking about it feels like my consciousness is being violated." Bai Mo expressed his understanding, while Kama, sitting by the well, asked:
"So, you're planning to cause trouble for that guy next? I tell you, there's absolutely no need for you to get involved in this mess, is there? In the end, Yao Lian's personal grudge is with Krishna, and his official business is with Hastinapura."
"It's just a casual matter, and Gandhari has treated the Pandavas quite well. If she dies, the impact on Arjuna will likely be significant."
Bai Mo had been curious about what would happen when the Mahabharata encountered Magnetic Field Power, but he didn't expect it to be so explosive right from the start.
If I weren't here, Karna and Arjuna would be fighting on the field. Bhishma wasn't on the field, he wasn't equipped with a bow, Yao Lian's surprise attack would likely have succeeded.
The relationship between the Pandavas and Dhritarashtra is still relatively good. The death of any one of them would not be a good thing. Bai Mo could basically imagine Arjuna's utter disillusionment with the world in this dualistic era, coupled with the insane behavior of the Magnetic Field Madman.
After all, Arjuna will become that kind of thing in the future.
"So what's the plan now? Continue with Karna?" Kama asked, before tilting his head back and falling into the well.
"It is impolite not to reciprocate. I plan to go to Kingdom of Magadha to see what this Yao Lian is up to. After all, it's best to get rid of this troublesome element as soon as possible."
After dealing with him, Karna can establish himself in the wealthy Rajagriha, and then find an opportunity to bring Kunti and the Pandavas over.
Bai Mo's plan wasn't actually that complicated, since there were too many unknowns, and the best option was to adapt to the situation. But considering the background, it wasn't actually difficult to stop Arjuna becoming disillusioned with humanity.
After all, these Pandavas were truly tolerant. They only launched the Kurukshetra War after being bullied to the point of no return. They spent most of their lives in the palace, not many years in total, and mostly disguised themselves as Brahmins in the wild, enduring wind and rain.
A purple figure descended from the sky. Kama, who had just fallen into the well, suddenly landed beside Bai Mo and put his arm around his shoulder.
"Then we'd better act quickly, otherwise our opponents will probably have prepared a rather grand welcoming ceremony for you. Hehe, you're going to Kingdom of Magadha, right? Great! How do you want me to help you? If it's dealing with that guy's followers, I'd be more than happy to!"
Kama was clearly very interested in this action, for no other reason than that Yao Lian was a fanatical follower of Shiva.
Just then, there was a knock at the door. Krishna appeared at the door, standing on the chariot, waving at the two of them.
Did I disturb you?
"No, are you planning to leave?"
"That's right. Now that I don't need to worry about Karna anymore, I have to deal with the Pandavas. After all, even if such a terrible war doesn't break out in the future, they will still need guidance."
The roads may not always lead the same way, but if the goal is the same, you will always meet.
Krishna smiled and took his leave. He was relieved to have confirmed Karna's condition. Moreover, the Pandavas did indeed need guidance, and he couldn't completely leave his Dvaraka to his brother.
He drove off, leaving another car behind. This car, for some reason, had a green vine growing on its window.
Meanwhile, the princes' martial arts tournament had ended, Dhritarashtra and Karna had a cordial and enthusiastic exchange of ideas. Karna had undoubtedly left a very deep impression on Dhritarashtra.
"That coachman's son is outrageous! How dare he say such things... Uncle, why didn't you stop him then?!"
Dhritarashtra spoke to Bhishma with a hint of reproach, while Bhishma shook his head helplessly and said:
"Dhritarashtra, why are you so angry? His behavior is indeed contrary to the traditions and Dharma of Hastinapura, but wouldn't it be better to just expel him?"
Your Majesty, do not be angry, for anger will diminish your wisdom.
However, Dhritarashtra was clearly not listening to Bhishma's advice. He gritted his teeth and said, "Is he challenging the Dharma and tradition? No, he is slapping me in the face and insulting my dignity."
What does it mean that a wise person should be prime minister and a brave person should be general? Does that guy mean I, a blind man, am not qualified to be king?!
