Attending the meeting
The next day, as Bai Mo was preparing to leave, he saw that Kampilya seemed to be under martial law. Countless troops blocked the roads, soldiers were fully equipped and ready to go, and in the distance, the sound of the army's discipline could even be heard.
What's going on?
Bai Mo was somewhat puzzled, but then he activated his senses. His eyes, like those of an eagle soaring in the sky, instantly revealed the situation: the entrance to the outer city of Kampilya was now densely packed with soldiers.
Meanwhile, King Drupada was already in armor, with Shikhandini and Dhrishtadyumna on either side of him, both rubbing their hands together, ready to fight. Further away, a car was slowly approaching, carrying only one person: Drona.
"Ha, that's quite a bold person, it's just a pity he can't always maintain that magnanimity in his heart."
Kama materialized at the table, placing two cups of hot tea on it. She naturally noticed the battlefield poised to erupt in the distance. Clearly, Drona had arrived unarmed, perhaps genuinely concerned about his past friendship with the King Drupada.
Just then, a hurried footstep came from in front of Bai Mo's residence. It was Draupadi. After opening the door, Draupadi stood panting at the door. When she saw Kama inside, she was obviously stunned for a moment.
"Your Excellency."
Upon meeting him, Draupadi bowed and said anxiously, "Drona has come alone. My father is mustering his army. Please go and stop him!"
Hearing this, Kama behind him laughed and teased, "Little girl, have you got the wrong person? What do you have to do with Drona or your father?"
Bai Mo nodded, agreeing with Kama's words.
"This is their personal feud, and it has nothing to do with me, neither of them."
Draupadi's heart tightened. To be honest, she knew very well that coming to Bai Mo, who had nothing to do with this matter, would probably not be of much help. But on the one hand, she didn't know who else to turn to, and on the other hand, she had a strange intuition that she should come to him.
"Your Excellency, please understand, but... whether it is Drona wreaking havoc on the battlefield or my father's successful revenge incurring the wrath of the Ashwatthama and Hastinapura, in the end, there will be widespread suffering."
My father is blinded by hatred and is about to commit a grave crime, which will also cause the blood of many innocent people to flow on the Daichi. Great man.
Venerable One, if you have any request, I am willing to grant it. I only beg you to prevent my father from committing this terrible sin.
"Oh~ really anything is fine?" Kama said from behind, his tone subtle, even drawing out the sound.
Draupadi was taken aback by what she heard, a hint of fear flashing across her face, but in the end, she nodded firmly.
"Kama, stop fooling around." Bai Mo rolled his eyes at Kama helplessly, then looked at the battlefield in the distance and replied, "In that case, I'll go take a look. We can't let that King Drupada's stupid decision really kill these people."
But barring any unforeseen circumstances, nothing should happen; Krishna won't allow such an absurd war to occur.
Kama, let's go.
Kama bypassed Draupadi like a butterfly, and by the time Draupadi realized what was happening, the two had vanished. She stood there, muttering the name Bai Mo had just uttered.
"Kama... isn't that a god?"
Bai Mo was indeed not going to let Drona and the King Drupada have any conflict. Although the probability was very low, what if Meng Dhrishtadyumna really killed Drona? After all, he had a prophecy, and who knew what Drona was thinking right now?
If Drona dies, Ashwatthama will go berserk. He might actually slaughter Panchala, and even make horrific sacrifices for it.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Ganges, in the capital city of Ahichhatra, Ashwatthama paced anxiously. He had just become king, but immediately encountered a major upheaval.
"Damn it, why did Father go alone and not let me go to Kingdom of Panchala? Doesn't he know that King Drupada will definitely have that Dhrishtadyumna kill him?"
Ashwatthama was very worried. He frowned and looked at the so-called ministers below, asking for a solution. Clearly, these people were fine to get by, but they were not reliable when trouble came.
"Um... Your Majesty, you may pray for Lord Drona..."
"You want me to pray for my father like a woman? Damn it, if my father dies, I will slaughter every single person in the Kingdom of Panchala, even if it means sacrificing myself!"
Ashwatthama roared angrily, and the man was immediately silenced by his scolding. Then, Ashwatthama remembered his father's teachings to him.
"Ashwatthama, do not be angry, especially after becoming king. It will diminish your wisdom and make you do foolish things."
At this moment, the person who gave these instructions was in danger. Ashwatthama recalled this and felt even more indignant, but he had no choice but to comply with his father's orders. After some thought, he finally...
It seems there's really no other way but to pray.
"Never mind, I hope the gods will listen."
And so, Ashwatthama had no choice but to head to the prayer room, letting the guy he'd yelled at lead the way. Inside the prayer room, Ashwatthama's prayers flowed into the sky, unaware that a distortion had appeared in the otherwise empty sky.
His prayers echoed within, magic flowed continuously, and gradually, a red figure vaguely appeared behind the distorted space.
Bai Mo arrived at the top of the walled tower. Drona was driving the chariot, still a short distance from the battlefield of the King Drupada. Looking at Drona's appearance, Bai Mo couldn't help but smirk.
Is it only when one is 'well-off' that one can display such magnanimity?
Bai Mo moved his fingers, and a Magnetic Field Power, like a snake, slithered into the army formation, preparing to snap the bowstrings of these guys. But the next moment, he saw another chariot appear here as well.
Krishna followed closely behind, and upon seeing him, Bai Mo also dispersed his power.
Drona is clearly at a point of relief; he can accept poverty, and even takes pride in it. But he cannot bear the thought of his children and wife starving with him.
Now that he has half of Kingdom of Panchala, Ashwatthama also has Hastinapura as an ally behind him.
So this guy just came straight to the point. The King Drupada discarded their past friendship like trash, but Drona was different. Especially now that he had nothing to lose, he was determined to have a heart-to-heart talk with this old friend.
But the King Drupada ' only reply was a volley of arrows. The next moment, Krishna's giant pestle flew out, spinning continuously in the air, shattering all the arrows.
Those who do not want bloodshed to occur are not only Bai Mo; Krishna also does not want Ashwatthama and King Drupada to fight to the death right now.
"Alright, there shouldn't be anything else for me to do now, right?"
Just as Bai Mo was about to stop, he sensed a distorted magical power coming from afar. This magical power was very strange, as if time and space were being distorted. Kama immediately became serious, his eyes filled with solemnity.
"Damn it, our actions have indeed distorted the future to some extent, and that guy has noticed."
Upon hearing this, Bai Mo also frowned. The guy that Kama was pointing to was obviously Arjuna had already become one with God in Lostbelt. Looking at the distorted space, which existed in the sky, it seemed to be constantly burning.
"Not Arjuna."
Kama said, "It doesn't have that immense divine power; this feeling is more like that guy's divine general."
"A divine general?"
Bai Mo looked puzzled, and then Kama explained:
"When you first entered the India Lostbelt, you were with Parvati, right? Parvati's divinity probably caught Arjuna's attention, and he cleaved you into nothingness with a single sword strike. So it's understandable that you don't know anything about the India Lostbelt."
That guy also took in several Servant, granting them divine authority and making them work for him. I don't know the specifics, but it seems that he probably thought there was some accident in the past, but it wasn't a big threat, so he just sent people to deal with it.
It seems strange, but that's how pure and absurdly rational God's thinking is, and he probably still hasn't discovered you.
This is probably why Krishna put you in charge of Karna. If you had directly persuaded Arjuna, he might have appeared and ended the cycle of this world with a single sword strike.
