Interception
The Britain Lostbelt, the world of fairies, is truly a fairytale paradise at first glance. Sunlight casts pink arcs on the sea, like clusters of flowers. On that dreamlike island, a grand festival is currently being held.
This was a festival unprecedented in thousands of years; the fairies cheered, and joyful happiness filled the air.
In Camelot, the fairies celebrated and rejoiced.
"It's so great not having to worry about Existence Tax!"
"I've never lived so easily before; what a miserable life I've been through before."
"Indeed, life is better without Morgan, hahaha."
Balloons were released into the sky, and due to Queen Morgan's sudden disappearance, the throne that had ruled the Fairy Britain for a thousand years was suddenly vacant. With someone's help, the fairy clan chiefs entered Camelot with almost no resistance.
Amidst this joy, a prince who had been living in seclusion arrived at the edge of the pit.
"Sorry, you might have to wait a little longer." The man in the white tuxedo looked at the pitch-black hole, the bottom of which seemed like a black abyss, unfathomable, where even light would be swallowed up.
"Although Morgan has left, he left behind methods to maintain the suppression of the throne. It will still take some time to break through. Well, even if we release you, without the key parts, you'll just rot like a corpse."
So please wait a moment, not all the characters on stage have appeared yet.
As the man turned to leave after speaking, he suddenly looked up at the sky. The relaxed expression on his face vanished instantly, replaced by a solemn look.
"They're back? Honestly, I wish Morgan had been killed by that Lostbelt too. Completely disappearing is better than staying here any longer, isn't it?"
Well, now I'm going to be busy again.
The man turned and transformed into a flying insect, disappearing from the spot and leaving behind only a bottomless, enormous crater.
Above, a silver-white vehicle shot through the sky, seemingly plummeting. Ritsuka, inside, felt a sense of weightlessness and instinctively cried out in alarm:
"Why did the Imaginary Number Dive fall from the sky this time?!"
Ritsuka gripped the handrail tightly, and in the next instant, the Magnetic Field Power seemed to pull Shadow Border in like a net. Bai Mo looked down and immediately saw that magnificent Daichi.
"How is it? My Fairy Britain, my Britain."
Morgan, on the train, looked down at the Daichi from the air and smiled sincerely. This was her pride, her kingdom. Everyone on the train held their breath, looking down at this dreamlike country.
"It really is beautiful."
Ritsuka spoke from the bottom of her heart, and the two Knights of the Round Table beside her— Lancelot and Tristan— agreed in agreement.
"I must admit, this is the first time I've ever seen Britain from this angle, and it's surprisingly novel."
Morgan heard the crowd's words and a slight smile appeared on her lips. She turned her head, seemingly wanting to get news from Bai Mo, but instead saw Bai Mo's slightly furrowed brows. His gaze turned in a certain direction, and then he stretched out his hand.
The Shadow Border flowed like liquid over Bai Mo's body. He stepped out of the car and simply said, "Prepare for an emergency landing. Our position has been locked."
A piercing sound rang out in the air; it was a crystal-like sword that flew through the air, surging with immense power, as if it would split the entire Shadow Border in two.
The flowing clouds were cut open at a speed too fast to catch. With a "ding," Bai Mo stretched out his fingers and caught the flying sword, feeling the enormous Magnetic Field Power and Magecraft form inside. His eyes narrowed slightly.
"It seems quite a few people have plagiarized my technology while I was away."
A deep blue magic circle appeared on the roof of the Shadow Border vehicle. Morgan also stood on the roof, looking at the object in Bai Mo's hand. She was certain of the Magecraft structure within; it was a basic weapon modeled after Magecraft, combined with Magnetic Field Power.
"Inferior quality goods; their impact is limited to about two-thirds the size of Britain."
"Something capable of striking across two-thirds of Britain can't be considered a substandard product, can it?"
Dr. Roman's voice came through the communication. This weapon was already very threatening, and with its speed and accuracy, it was quite terrifying as a weapon for surprise attacks.
"Distance and speed aren't the problem; the problem is the quantity. Here they come."
Morgan said coldly. The next moment, lights lit up all over Britain, like anti-aircraft guns, and flying swords shot towards Shadow Border, as if to tear it apart completely.
Unfortunately, stolen goods are ultimately not presentable to their rightful owner.
Morgan's staff shimmered slightly, and a ripple of azure light spread out. The crystal-like swords instantly lost their form, leaving only pure power.
Like a thunderstorm, a series of piercing sounds echoed in the sky.
"Isn't this welcome ceremony a bit too enthusiastic?"
Bai Mo activated the Ryougi Lataib, gathering the scattered energy and directing it towards the sky. Morgan shook his head and said, "After all, I've been gone for almost three days. It was to be expected that the country I built would fall apart like this."
I just hope that child didn't do anything stupid... I should have let her hide beforehand.
A hint of helplessness flashed in Morgan's eyes, and Bai Mo couldn't help but twitch his lips upon hearing this.
"Your Fairy Britain fell after you were away from the country for three days?"
"... Yes, thankfully Britain wasn't badly damaged, which is good news."
After Morgan followed the Fourth Lostbelt into the space, about three days had passed in the outside world. The idea that a Lord could disappear for three days and then have his kingdom fall was somewhat abstract, but Morgan didn't seem surprised by the outcome.
Some even felt fortunate that Britain hadn't been destroyed.
"I'll take care of those anti-aircraft guns. You'll be in charge of defending Shadow Border for now, is that alright?"
"That's natural... Defending the city is my forte."
A slight sense of pride appeared on Morgan's face, but the next moment, a flying sword of the yellow amber type streaked past at great speed and arrived in front of her.
Was it another spell? Morgan glanced at it and instantly deciphered and understood the Magecraft circuits, the flow of magical power, and the structure of the spell, devising a countermeasure. But this time, when the yellow flying sword cracked, it didn't release Magnetic Field Power.
Instead, it was a thick, unidentified liquid, within which some hairy creatures stretched out and scattered.
Morgan's eyes immediately recognized what it was.
Then, her seriousness shattered instantly.
"Ugh! A bug!!!"
The once majestic queen immediately retreated like a little girl, and Bai Mo also stopped in his tracks because of this exclamation. In that moment of stunned silence, a dark vortex appeared in the sky.
