Shang Yang explained that the Primordial Beginning Heavenly Demon was an incarnation of the Dao Ancestor as the heavenly scene shifted to Dharma King Yama, who tried to awaken a Seven Treasures Fruit in the Netherworld. Ye Ming and the Lord of Mount Tai persuaded him to relinquish it, and Dharma King Yama accepted out of loyalty to the Great Emperor of Fengdu.

• Shang Yang told the young black dragon that the Primordial Beginning Heavenly Demon was an incarnation of the Dao Ancestor, but not the Dao Ancestor himself.
• Dharma King Yama fled with a Seven Treasures Fruit and tried unsuccessfully to ripen it after leaving the Wondrous Tree of Seven Treasures.
• Ye Ming appeared and warned Dharma King Yama that awakening the fruit could turn the Netherworld into a battlefield.
• The Lord of Mount Tai explained that the Yin Son of Heaven and the Great Emperor of Fengdu would not allow desire to overrun the underworld, and offered to explain matters to them.
• Dharma King Yama offered the fruit to the Lord of Mount Tai, saying he would not covet it because of the Great Emperor of Fengdu's trust and favor.

The Lord of Mount Tai explained that the Seven Treasures Fruits threatened the Three Realms and accused Great Unity Dao Lord of creating them to prevent Chi from becoming the first Taiyi Golden Immortal. He left his listeners with a pointed accusation against Great Unity, driven partly by resentment over his past.

• The Lord of Mount Tai warned Dharma King Yama that Chi would try to reclaim the Seven Treasures Fruits and that their existence threatened the Three Realms.
• The Lord of Mount Tai ruled out the Queen Mother of the West as the Wondrous Tree of Seven Treasures' creator, saying she was the Dao Ancestor's most loyal follower.
• Xiluo objected to being called a follower and said she would not need unorthodox methods to achieve Dao Proving.
• The Lord of Mount Tai named Di Jun, or the Great Unity Dao Lord behind him, as the likely creator of the Wondrous Tree and Seven Treasures Fruits.
• The Lord of Mount Tai admitted he was unsure who had caused the fruits' birth, but blamed Great Unity to damage his reputation and vent his resentment.

The Lord of Mount Tai transformed the gray fruit representing the fear of all beings into the Ten Halls of the Nether Capital, preventing Chi from reclaiming it and strengthening the Netherworld. Di Jun then appeared before Minghe, took the Seven Treasures Fruit he had seized, and criticized his choice.

• The Lord of Mount Tai explained that the fear of all beings was unnecessary in the Netherworld and let the gray fruit absorb the fear Qi.
• The Thousand-Handed Great Buddha attacked the Lord of Mount Tai with Sword Qi, but the Lord of Mount Tai dismissed the strike and challenged him.
• Ten whirlpools formed in the River of Forgetfulness, and the gray fruit split apart and became ten palaces that connected to the Sea of Consciousness of All Beings and fused with the Netherworld.
• Minghe realized that the Ten Halls of the Nether Capital had made the gray fruit impossible for Chi to reclaim, then wondered whether the Netherworld Lord or Great Unity Dao Lord had anticipated his actions.
• Di Jun appeared before Minghe, took the Seven Treasures Fruit, and said Minghe should have chosen the fruit of the desires of all beings instead.

Xihe warned Great Unity against recklessly trying to resurrect Changxi, whose consciousness had vanished completely into the flow of time, and urged him to let their grown children choose their own futures. In the present, Di Jun raised the Joy of All Beings and summoned the Numinous Firmament Treasure Hall, where the Heavenly Emperor would rule the heavens and command gods and devils.

• The Dao Proving Ones watched Di Jun defeat Minghe and mocked Minghe for being reduced to a head and an arm.
• Xihe praised Di Jun and reproached Great Unity for his past pride and the ruin it had brought his family.
• Xihe explained that Changxi had no remnant consciousness in the Sea of Alaya Consciousness and could only possibly return if Great Unity destroyed his Dao fruit and unmade the Heavenly Realm.
• Great Unity vowed to find Changxi, while Xihe cautioned him against rash choices and urged him to let their children decide their futures.
• Di Jun raised the white fruit symbolizing the Joy of All Beings, and the Numinous Firmament Treasure Hall appeared above the Thirty-Three Heavens.
• The hall was declared the seat of the Heavenly Emperor, who would wield heaven and earth's authority and command gods and devils.

Di Jun established the Numinous Firmament Treasure Hall as a realm-anchoring system whose Heavenly Emperor could be chosen from among all beings. Xiluo realized Di Jun’s invitation to her was a means to target Li Boyang and constrain the Great Unity Dao Lord.

• Di Jun declared that whoever ascended the Numinous Firmament Treasure Hall would become Heavenly Emperor and command Gods and Devils.
• Xiluo, Wangshu, and Yinjiao examined the Hall’s nature and recognized its vast potential to grant authority and Dao fruits.
• Jinjiao warned Xiluo that future immortals would resist the Hall’s restrictions, and urged her not to take up residence there.
• Xiluo said Di Jun’s invitation showed trust in the Queen Mother of the West, but wondered why he had chosen her.
• Xiluo realized Li Boyang was Di Jun’s real target, and Li Boyang explained that Di Jun had created the Hall independently to constrain the Great Unity Dao Lord.

Di Jun rejected Great Unity’s plan to control the Heavenly Realm and chose his own path, giving up his cultivation to make way for Lu Ya to become Heavenly Emperor. The chapter ended with Supreme Lord Lao agreeing to support the future Heavenly Court and keep Great Unity in check.

• Great Unity silently withdrew his hand, while Di Jun reflected that his father had ignored his wishes and treated him as a piece in his plans.
• Di Jun spoke across the Three Realms, explaining his choice to give up becoming Heavenly Emperor and comparing his path to Heng'e’s independence.
• Lu Ya rushed toward Di Jun and pleaded with him to stop, but Di Jun said he was tired of carrying the responsibilities of an elder brother.

Li Xi attacked the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha’s Seven Treasures Fruit and, after the World-Saving Azure Lotus sacrificed itself to protect her, formed a Lotus Seal that cracked the Buddha’s body. The azure essence transformed Li Xi’s Body-Protecting Gang Qi into the Innate Spirit Treasure Precious Lotus Lantern.

• Di Jun entered the Numinous Firmament Treasure Hall as the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha renewed his assault, while the Heavenly Realm and Netherworld’s treasures absorbed his attacks.
• Li Xi struck at the Seven Treasures Fruit with the Five-Colored Stone, and Li Jingshu directed the attackers to target the fruit.
• Fu Kui shielded Li Xi as she bypassed the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha’s defenses, destroyed the Wisdom Kings, and reached the fruit.
• The Seven Treasures Fruit formed a face and attacked Li Xi with a Demon-Subduing Seal, while the World-Saving Azure Lotus shattered to save her.

• The Precious Lotus Lantern merged with Li Xi’s Yuan Qi, becoming a self-growing divine artifact with qualities of a Law Treasure, Divine Ability, deity, and living being.
• Li Xi touched the bronze fruit, stopped its resistance, and gained clear vision of the Long River of Time through the Precious Lotus Lantern’s Dao of Creation.
• The manifestation of Amala Consciousness revealed that he had targeted Li Xi as a vessel for his descent because of her unusual nature and rational desires.

Li Xi used her ability to see fate to overcome the incarnation of Amala Consciousness, but he split the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha into monsters that fled across the Three Realms. Li Xi transformed the final Seven Treasures Fruit into the Demon-Refining Pot and swallowed the monsters and the Wondrous Tree of Seven Treasures.

• Li Xi and the incarnation of Amala Consciousness clashed across branching futures, while Lu Huaijin, Fu Kui, and the cultivators fought the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha.
• The incarnation of Amala Consciousness refused to admit defeat and declared that he could be born without a vessel.
• The Thousand-Handed Great Buddha broke apart, and its fragments became monsters carrying pieces of Amala Consciousness's will that fled toward the heavens of the Three Realms.

After Li Xi defeated the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha, Suirenshi refused Li Boyang’s invitation to remain in the era, choosing to return to his family and friends in the past. At Witch Mountain, Wu Xian considered stepping down as Witch King and proposed Fu Kui as his successor, but Wu Zhen’s arrival sparked an argument over who had the right to speak.

• Li Xi used the Demon-Refining Pot to refine the Thousand-Handed Great Buddha, and the Amala Consciousness avatar retreated to the depths of the Sea of Consciousness of All Beings.
• Li Boyang invited Suirenshi to stay in the era, but Suirenshi declined because his family and friends were three thousand years in the past and he wanted to rest.
• At Witch Mountain, the Three Realms’ connection was severed, and Wu Luo reassured Wu Xian that Great Xia could eventually reforge the Witch Mountain Cauldron.
• Wu Xian said he was considering stepping down as Witch King and asked whether Fu Kui should take his place.
• Wu Zhen arrived with Ao Zhen, and Wu Yang challenged Wu Zhen’s right to interfere; Wu Zhen defended herself by saying her disciple could become one of the Ten Witches of Spirit Mountain.

Li Jingshu asked Xiangliu and Ao Mo to choose their future, but Jiugui arrived and assigned them roles in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range. Jiugui revealed that she had touched upon the Dao of Daluo and planned to travel back in time to meet her father, leaving everyone stunned.

• Li Jingshu asked Xiangliu and Ao Mo whether they would serve as water gods in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range, return to the South Sea, or go back to Great Xia.
• Jiugui appeared and declared that Xiangliu and Ao Mo would stay to oversee Black Water Pool's integration into the Mystic Garden Barrier, with Ao Mo becoming its master and Xiangliu becoming the water god of the Gushing Water Canal.
• Li Jingshu asked Jiugui what she intended to do after assimilating with the Golden Lotus of Merit, and Jiugui said she wanted to atone, repay kindness, and find meaning in life.
• Jiugui explained that remembering Suirenshi's guidance had made her regret her past choices and want to change.

After the sky curtain vanished, Ao Fei and Ao Jia resumed their battle before two enormous hands seized them and carried them away. Lord Lingguang awakened and learned that Li Xi had obtained his fire jade, leading him to suspect the Dao Ancestor had a purpose behind it.

• Yinglong uploaded his recorded sky-curtain data to the Star God Network as the curtain disappeared.
• Jiupanpo told Yinglong she had urged Sagara to reclaim what belonged to her, and Ao Fei and Ao Jia began fighting again.
• Sagara appeared beside the clam maiden, and two enormous hands seized Ao Fei and Ao Jia and vanished with them.
• The Great Chun Tree God observed that Sagara had grown up, while Lord Lingguang awoke from nirvana beneath the banyan tree.
• Lord Lingguang questioned why Li Xi had obtained his fire jade and concluded that the Dao Ancestor had a reason for wanting her to have it.

After returning to Li Household Village, Li Xi visited Single Horn Si, who covertly directed her toward Chi Fou at the water god temple. Subhūti suspected Li Xi was pursuing a secret, while Single Horn Si watched them leave with sorrow and hope.

• Li Xi returned to Li Household Village with Subhūti and was welcomed with a grand celebration attended by the old village chief, villagers, and nearby gods.
• Li Xi visited the preserved first irrigation channel and textile mill, where Single Horn Si emerged and challenged her about the reason for her visit.
• Single Horn Si denied knowing anything, then suggested Li Xi visit Chi Fou, who had been troubled lately.
• Li Xi inferred that Single Horn Si was helping her and headed for the water god temple, while Subhūti questioned what secret she was pursuing.

Lü Yan visited Xiluo and explained that he had decided to prove his Dao and ask the Dao Ancestor why the sword seemed able to encompass every Dao. After attaining the Dao of the Sword Immortal, he arrived at Purple Firmament Palace and stood before the Dao Ancestor.

• Lü Yan secretly entered the mountain god temple and told Xiluo he had come to fulfill their agreement.
• Lü Yan said he had crossed the Divine Gate and Heavenly Pass and intended to prove his Dao before seeking answers from the Dao Ancestor.
• Lü Yan reasoned that Xiluo had directed him to Purple Firmament Palace because she wanted to confirm something with the Dao Ancestor through his question.
• Lü Yan proved the Dao of the Sword Immortal and arrived at Purple Firmament Palace, where the Dao Ancestor greeted him.

Ten years after Lü Yan proved the Dao of Sword Immortals, Li Boyang uncovered Xiluo’s plan to unite several Dao Paths under the Dao of Immortals. The chapter left Xiluo and Li Boyang trading pointed remarks about how they had changed and whether they could trust each other.

• Li Boyang praised Xiluo for helping Lü Yan prove the Dao of Sword Immortals and recognized that it completed her Dao of Immortals.
• Li Boyang revealed that he knew Xiluo was bringing Wangshu, Jinjiao, and others into the Dao of Immortals because his other incarnation was the King Father of the East.

Lü Yan confronted the Dao Ancestor in the Purple Firmament Palace and questioned whether the Dao Ancestor had shaped his life and the lives of those around him in pursuit of transcendence. The Dao Ancestor admitted to guiding the world but insisted that his path to the Dao was one he could not abandon, and Lü Yan ended by asking whether he would slaughter all living beings if they opposed him.

• Lü Yan drew the Pure Yang Sword and asked whether the Dao Ancestor had deliberately given him his sword talent and controlled his life.
• The Dao Ancestor said Lü Yan's talent was innate, though his life and the world's development had been influenced by the Dao Ancestor and the Queen Mother of the West.
• Lü Yan accused the Dao Ancestor of treating incarnations, disciples, friends, and family as attempts to explore refining emptiness and uniting with the Dao.
• Lü Yan urged the Dao Ancestor to stop pursuing transcendence and remain with his family, but the Dao Ancestor said he had seen the road and would regret not walking it.
• Lü Yan warned that others would also stand in the Dao Ancestor's way and asked whether he would kill all living beings in the Three Realms to attain the Dao.

Xiluo confronted Li Boyang about his preparations to refine emptiness and unite with the Dao by erasing his traces and distributing his karma among his incarnations. She declared that she would oppose his plan with the help of the people he considered burdens, leaving their conflict unresolved.

• Xiluo asked Li Boyang whether he had reached the threshold of refining emptiness and uniting with the Dao, and he admitted that he had.
• Xiluo connected Lü Yan’s resemblance to Li Boyang and his ability to use Li Boyang’s techniques to Li Boyang’s plan to distribute his power and karma among his incarnations.
• Xiluo explained that Li Boyang intended to erase every trace of himself, let Lü Yan inherit his karma, and then unite with the Dao and transcend.
• Li Boyang asked why Xiluo was trying to stop him, and Xiluo said she wanted others to share the burden of the truth and his painful plan.
• Li Boyang suggested Li Jingshu and Lu Huaijin might already know about his plan, and Xiluo vowed to join forces with the others to oppose him.

Lü Yan revealed that he intended to spread knowledge of the Dao Ancestor’s plan among Dao Proving Ones across the past, present, and future, making the Three Realms’ living beings an obstacle to the Dao Ancestor’s attempt to sever his karma. Xihe and Great Unity realized the confrontation might also be the Dao Ancestor’s deliberate, final transmission of the Dao.

• The Dao Ancestor recognized that Lü Yan had used Life's Three Questions to test his resolve, and Lü Yan confirmed that he meant to expose the Dao Ancestor rather than stop him by force.
• Lü Yan explained that the Dao Ancestor was trying to sever his ties to the Three Realms and warned that he would make every living being aware of the Dao Ancestor’s existence.
• Xihe and Great Unity considered whether the Dao Ancestor would destroy the Three Realms to attain the Dao, and Great Unity judged that he would not.
• Xihe suggested that Lü Yan’s actions had created another transmission of the Dao, teaching the Dao Proving Ones about seeking subtraction and emptiness.
• Great Unity concluded that the Dao Ancestor had guided events without directly initiating them and called this his final transmission of the Dao.

Li Boyang confronted Xiluo about his secret plan to undertake Refining Emptiness and Uniting with the Dao, refusing to reveal how dangerous the path was. When Xiluo realized he had already begun, she and Wangshu moved to stop him, and Li Boyang prepared to test his disciple’s power.

• Xiluo challenged Li Boyang to explain why he concealed his cultivation plans and warned that his chances of success might be disastrously low.
• Li Boyang admitted that he was risking his life and existence to explore an uncertain path for those who came after him, but said he would not let those close to him follow until it was proven feasible.
• Li Boyang distracted Xiluo by saying he should visit his parents, then revealed that the figure before her was only a higher-dimensional projection and that he had already begun Refining Emptiness and Uniting with the Dao.
• Xiluo called on Wangshu and Jinjiao, while Li Boyang explained that Wangshu had trapped Yinjiao in the Twelve Mirrors of the Jade Pool to temper her heart through dreams.
• Wangshu appeared before Li Boyang and apologized for opposing him, and he praised her mastery of the Celestial Star Gods’ Dao before the stars blazed and their Star Gods looked down at him.

On Li Boyang’s birthday, Li Jingshu confronted him outside the family gathering and explained how his deeds and memories had gradually been transferred to her as his presence faded. Li Boyang promised that she would remember him again, though his fate remained uncertain.

• Chen Yun prepared meat for Li Boyang’s birthday, and Li Yu welcomed Qiwa, Qinghe, and their children to the celebration.
• Li Jingshu waited outside the courtyard with Li Boyang’s Shadow Baleful Intent Dharma Aspect, while Lu Huaijin entered without appearing to notice it.
• Li Jingshu said she would not go inside because she could not bear Lu Huaijin’s reaction to her.
• Li Jingshu told Li Boyang that his comprehension, talent, deeds, and memories had gradually become hers, while everyone’s impression of him faded.

Li Boyang visited Bronze Island to settle his karma with Hanging Silk Lady and her daughter Xiao Gui before leaving. He granted Xiao Gui a weaving talent and Hanging Silk Lady a fate-weaving divine ability, then helped the spider maidens form a secluded world-protecting net as the Three Realms approached future calamities.

• Li Boyang emerged from the mist on Bronze Island, waking Hanging Silk Lady and Lingguzi and thanking them for guarding the marsh.
• Li Boyang recognized Xiao Gui and granted her the talent to weave the Celestial Maiden’s Feather Robe, transforming her into a little girl and a weaving female immortal.
• Li Boyang bestowed the Heavenly Mandate Incantation Technique on Hanging Silk Lady, awakening her innate divine ability, Derive Heaven and Weave Dao.

Li Boyang repaid his karmic debt to Lingguzi by granting him extraordinary medical knowledge and a shapeshifting body, then showed him possible futures for himself and Hanging Silk Lady. As their connection faded, Lingguzi learned the name of his new power: the Formless Divine Ability.

• Li Boyang explained that many of the people Lingguzi had treated were connected to him, and Lingguzi asked to receive Li Boyang’s medical talent and cultivation.
• Li Boyang used the Heavenly Mandate Incantation Technique to give Lingguzi medical insight and a flesh-and-blood body with a face that appeared different to every viewer.

• Nü E accepted Li Boyang's rice and took comfort in his farewell, even as she prepared to forget him.
• Li Boyang explained that Nü E had chosen to become a witch and passed his understanding of witchcraft to her, allowing her to hear the voices of all things.
• The gods sensed the earth stirring, and Yinglong identified the birth of new gods of soil and grain.

Lord Yanyao used Foreknowledge of the Future to find Li Boyang, whose existence was scattered across people and timelines. Li Boyang refused to preserve their karma and memories, explaining that he must sever every attachment to improve his chances of Dao Merging, and named the state he sought.

• Lord Yanyao foresaw Li Boyang’s presence and drew his scattered existence into the present.
• Li Boyang appeared before Lord Yanyao, who revealed that he still held Li Boyang’s heavenly eye and intended to preserve their connection.
• Li Boyang refused to let Lord Yanyao keep their memories and karma, saying he needed to eliminate anything that could pull him back from Dao Merging.
• Lord Yanyao questioned why Li Boyang abandoned his usual principle of leaving room for retreat, and Li Boyang explained that some things mattered more than survival.
