After Ye Guyi destroyed the cult’s forces, she found Lu Cheng waiting at its underground altar and begged him to come home with her.

• Lu Cheng exposed Shrek Academy’s role in the deaths of its disciples, prompting Zhang Lexuan and the reserve team to leave while Du Busi welcomed him into the Body Sect.
• Lu Cheng helped Du Busi and the Body Sect elders advance with immortal herbs, then began a simulation in which he rose through the Sun Moon Empire and joined the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Lu Cheng rescued Ye Guyi after her clan was massacred, trained her, and secretly guided her toward becoming a god through faith.

Ye Guyi followed Lu Cheng into reincarnation, while Lu Cheng returned to the mortal world and pursued new allies and Soul Tool research. After helping Tang Ya avenge her family and acquiring powerful sacrifices in the Star Dou Great Forest, he infiltrated the Sun Moon Empire and drew Ju Zi into his plans.

• Lu Cheng defeated the Golden Qilin Armor King, and Ju Zi pledged to help him avenge her parents by killing the White Tiger Duke.
• Lu Cheng recruited Nana as his shadow, advanced to Soul Saint, and led the Body Sect in a raid that devastated the Illustrious Virtue Hall and took its equipment and rare metals.
• The Sun Moon Empire imprisoned Jing Hongchen and condemned him and his family to execution, so Lu Cheng and the Body Sect stormed the execution square and freed them.
