Lu Cheng claimed the Immortal Herb Garden, strengthened the Body Sect, and navigated alliances and conflicts at the Mingdu tournament while trying to free Ye Guyi from the Holy Spirit Cult. The arc ended as Lu Cheng faced Shrek Academy alone in their decisive group-stage match.

• Lu Cheng defeated Tang Wutong’s challenge through Wang Dong’er, then absorbed the Ice and Fire Dragon Cores with Electrolux’s help and reached level eighty-six.
• Mu En approved Shrek Academy’s plan to seek an alliance with the Clear Sky Sect, while Ye Guyi awoke from divine trials and chose to remain near Lu Cheng.
• Lu Cheng led the Body Sect to Mingdu for the tournament, where its fighters advanced and he began negotiations with Xu Jiujiu over Soul Tools and resources.
• Lu Cheng freed three dragon girls from the Green Hotel and recognized Ye Guyi at the tournament, though the Holy Spirit Cult’s control over her kept her from leaving.
• Lu Cheng conceded the Body Sect’s match to the Earth Dragon Sect, then watched Tang Ya and the Tang Sect defeat Gai Yin’s Mingyu Sect.

Lu Cheng helped the rival factions escape Mingdu, destroyed a Holy Spirit Cult branch, and strengthened the Body Sect through new trade and Battle Armor plans. He then began a simulation in the distant past, where he befriended Gu Yue and Na'er, took on Qian Renxue as his goddaughter, and suspected an unseen force was driving Soul Beasts against humanity.

• Lu Cheng defeated Bei Bei and the Clear Sky Sect disciples in the tournament, then faced Xuan Zi’s accusation before Du Busi drove Xuan Zi back and Xu Tianran chose to delay his plans for Mingdu.
• Lu Cheng and Du Busi joined Xu Jiujiu, Shrek Academy, and representatives of the empires to plan an escape from Mingdu, and Lu Cheng proposed raiding the imperial arsenal instead of harming civilians.
• Lu Cheng led the raid on the underground arsenal, seized rare Soul Tools and Level 9 shells, and escaped through the Undead Plane gate with the gathered factions while Xuan Zi hesitated and left Shrek behind.
• Lu Cheng was trapped by Ye Guyi in the Angel Temple for a month, then returned as Ye Guyi ascended to godhood and joined the Divine Realm after securing time in the lower realm with him.
• Lu Cheng rescued Li Ya and the merfolk by destroying the Holy Spirit Cult branch in Eastsea City, then arranged a trade between the Mermaid Clan and the human factions.
• Lu Cheng returned to the Body Sect, assessed Xuan Ziwen’s Battle Armor prototype, arranged armor for talented disciples, and sent sect forces to reinforce the war front as the Star Luo Empire faced heavy losses.
• Lu Cheng began a new Simulation and became a supreme elder of Spirit Hall, reached Limit Douluo, fought the Silver Dragon King, and later joined Heaven Dou Royal Academy to teach Gu Yue.
• Lu Cheng took Na'er as his disciple, promised to care for Qian Xunji’s wife and daughter after Qian Xunji died, and spent years teaching the girls while suspecting an unseen force was fueling Soul Beast hostility toward humans.
