Ch. 1Martial Soul Awakening

Six-year-old Xu Qing, a transmigrant living in the Dragon King era, entered Red Mountain Academy for his Martial Soul Awakening, anxious that his ordinary parents’ weak Martial Souls meant he might have no Soul Power. The awakening began, and the Spirit Transmitter detected that Xu Qing had associated Soul Power.

  • Xu Qing worried about his Martial Soul Awakening while his mother, Tang Xue, tried to comfort him despite her own and Xu Yan’s ordinary Martial Souls.

Ch. 2Twin Martial Souls?

  • Xu Qing's awakening caused him intense pain as golden scales appeared and he absorbed all the female Spirit Transmitter's Soul Power.
  • Xu Qing manifested Blue Silver Grass, and the female Spirit Transmitter suspected he had twin martial souls because of the earlier signs.

  • Xu Qing rejected becoming an Evil Soul Master and reasoned that he might cultivate Blue Silver Grass by spreading it across the parallel Earth and gathering its faith.

  • Xu Qing opened his eyes after breaking through to rank six Soul Power.

Ch. 16The night market, cultivation through division

  • Xu Qing collected some bluish zombie blood in a test tube, removed and checked his gear, showered, and took out the items he had gathered.

Ch. 19Absorbing the Crystal Cores

Xu Qing tried to absorb crystal cores, but a savage force overwhelmed him until the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon tattoo repelled it, leaving him unconscious and changed. After school, he asked Tang Wulin to forge a huge chopping saber for him, while he planned how to face the zombie on his next return.

  • Xu Qing probed an ordinary crystal core with his Spiritual Power, and a destructive force invaded his mind until the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon drove it away.
  • Xu Qing passed out, and a faint golden light covered him as golden scales grew on his neck and arms and his body strengthened.
  • Xu Qing woke, locked away the crystal cores, and went to school with Gu Yuena after breakfast with his family.
  • During class, Xu Qing wondered about the force in the cores and planned to upgrade his weapon before facing the zombie again.
  • Xu Qing showed Tang Wulin a drawing of an oversized chopping saber and asked him to forge it, and Tang Wulin agreed.

Ch. 20The Power of the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon Bloodline, Absorbing the Crystal Core

Tang Wulin brought Xu Qing’s saber blueprint to Mang Tian, who suggested adding tungsten steel. At home, Xu Qing used his Five-Clawed Golden Dragon power while absorbing a crystal core, increasing his strength, Soul Power, Spiritual Power, and blood vitality as Gu Yuena sensed his powerful dragon presence.

Ch. 21Learning to forge

Xu Qing collected his completed saber from Mang Tian's Workshop and accepted Mang Tian's offer to teach him forging. After practicing with Tang Wulin, he hid the saber at home and asked Gu Yuena to keep it from his mother before they meditated together.

  • Tang Wulin told Xu Qing that his saber was finished and that Mang Tian wanted to meet him.
  • After school, Xu Qing went with Tang Wulin to Mang Tian's Workshop, tested the heavy saber, and met Mang Tian.
  • Mang Tian tested Xu Qing's strength and invited him to learn forging, and Xu Qing accepted.

  • Xu Qing and Gu Yuena meditated together in the backyard among the Blue Silver Grass.

Ch. 22Familiarity, one year later

  • Xu Qing and Gu Yuena went to Red Mountain Academy, where Xu Qing told Zhou Yu he had reached rank ten; Zhou Yu reacted with disbelief.

Ch. 24Spiritual Power Classifications

Zhou Yu discovered that Xu Qing had reached Soul Power Level ten and attributed his rapid cultivation to a trace of Blue Silver King bloodline in his Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul. At the Aolai City Spirit Pagoda, Xu Qing began the process of choosing his first Soul Spirit, starting with a Spiritual Power test.

  • Zhou Yu tested Xu Qing's Soul Power and examined his Martial Soul, concluding that it carried a trace of Blue Silver King bloodline.

  • Yang Tao and Zhou Yu tested Xu Qing’s Spiritual Power, and the reading rose to 125 before settling.
  • Yang Tao explained the result and said Xu Qing could submit the test report when he enrolled in an intermediate Soul Master Academy.
  • Yang Tao showed Xu Qing Soul Spirit options, including the Mandala Snake, Ghost Vine, Cordyceps, and Golden Dodder.
  • Xu Qing asked about plant Soul Spirits with parasitic abilities, and Yang Tao described the three available hundred-year options.
  • Xu Qing chose the artificial Cordyceps Soul Spirit despite Yang Tao’s warning about its limitations.
  • Yang Tao stopped trying to dissuade Xu Qing and extracted a Soul Spirit Ball from the apparatus.
