Background

Qian Renxue lost her father while young and grew up with Qian Daoliu as her closest source of affection. Her relationship with Bibi Dong was shaped by the circumstances of her birth: Qian Xunji had sexually assaulted Bibi Dong, who subsequently transferred much of her hatred for him onto their innocent daughter 204 220 256.

After Qian Xunji’s death and Bibi Dong’s succession as pope, Qian Renxue was sent to infiltrate the Heaven Dou Empire at a young age. She assumed Xue Qinghe’s identity and occupied the crown prince’s position. The mission consumed years that she later recognized could have been spent cultivating 177 253 297 301.

Appearance

Qian Renxue is a tall, graceful woman, nearly the height of an average adult man. Her true appearance has fair skin, long golden hair, and an imposing bearing 143 296.

Personality

Qian Renxue is proud, competitive, and easily provoked, particularly by Yu Tianshuang. She attempts to present herself with regal composure—even briefly copying Bibi Dong’s posture—but often loses that composure when embarrassed or teased. Her confidence initially exceeds her combat experience: during the palace battle, she treats Tang San too lightly and pauses to explain domains instead of pressing her advantage 143 198.

Her ambition is intertwined with a desire for recognition. She hopes conquering the Heaven Dou Empire will make Bibi Dong acknowledge her, while her belief in Qian Daoliu’s invincibility initially prevents her from believing she can pass his test. After setbacks, however, she repeatedly chooses to improve rather than concede defeat 99 225 257.

Her understanding of justice changes substantially. At the Star Luo border, she rationalizes mass killing as a sacrifice required for peace. Later, she learns to distinguish judgment from killing, but also attempts to achieve an emotionally detached ideal by separating her negative emotions from herself. Her separated soul’s eventual self-sacrifice teaches her that protecting others—not discarding attachment—is central to justice 242 271 346 347 359.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Heaven Dou Infiltration

While disguised as Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue works toward taking control of the Heaven Dou Empire and hopes success will earn Bibi Dong’s recognition. She reveals her true identity to Yu Tianshuang and offers access to information about his parents. In return, he promises to return in three years to help her; they seal the agreement with a handshake 99 143.

Her personal attachment to him becomes increasingly evident. She admits her feelings to Huo Wu and struggles with jealousy over his other relationships. Nevertheless, she maintains her crown prince role when Yu Yuanzhen appears at court, concealing her anger over his treatment of Yu Tianshuang because Emperor Xue Ye’s poison has not yet reached its intended timing 174 177.

Imperial Palace Coup

By Yu Tianshuang’s return, Spirit Hall personnel have spread throughout the imperial palace. Their reunion is interrupted by Tang San, Yang Wudi, and Dugu Bo, who arrive to investigate Emperor Xue Ye’s poisoning 196.

Qian Renxue reveals her identity and fights Tang San, but underestimates his ability to survive inside her domain and complete his hammer technique. Severely injured, she is rescued by Yu Tianshuang. The subsequent intervention of allied clans helps end the coup: Xue Qinghe loses the crown prince position, and Xue Beng receives authority to oversee the empire 198 203.

After retreating to Spirit City, she blames Bibi Dong for forcing the operation forward prematurely. She becomes a Judgment Elder, intending both to correct her lack of combat experience and to avoid her mother. She also helps Yu Tianshuang investigate Qian Xunji’s pursuit of the Nine Heavens Rainbow Phoenix Clan’s secret technique 203 204.

Star Luo Border Campaign

Qian Renxue fiercely opposes any cooperation with Evil Soul Masters. At the Star Luo border, however, she dismisses Hu Liena’s caution and leads nearly a hundred Angel Legion members into battle. The legion kills roughly one hundred thousand soldiers over half a month, unknowingly contributing to the Holy Spirit Cult’s empowerment scheme 234 239 242 244.

When the cult’s creations attack, her divine purification cannot save the corrupted soldiers. She returns to Spirit City seeking answers, clashes with Bibi Dong during the founding of the Spirit Hall Empire, and learns from Qian Daoliu that the Mammon are formed from living people’s blood Qi and souls, while the death-shrouded fighters are irredeemable puppets 246 248.

After returning to the front, she is excluded from Yu Tianshuang’s reconnaissance mission. Shui Bing’er’s rebuke forces her to confront the years of cultivation lost to her undercover assignment. Qian Daoliu helps her turn that humiliation into renewed determination, and she resumes her God Trials 253 257 258.

Angel God Inheritance

Qian Renxue passes the first stage of the Eighth Trial by crippling two cult members rather than killing them. She declares that the person responsible for sending the Star Luo army to its death is the one she must truly judge 271.

A later confrontation with her dark side ends in catastrophe: the separated personality takes control of her body and drives the Angel Holy Sword into Qian Daoliu. His willing sacrifice opens the inheritance gate, which Qian Renxue enters in soul form 281 292.

The inheritance illusion offers the life she desires: affectionate parents, recognition within Spirit Hall, rapid advancement, and Yu Tianshuang as her childhood sweetheart without his real-world romantic commitments. Although she recognizes the illusion, she remains emotionally attached to it. Meanwhile, Inner Qian Renxue acts in the outside world, assists against the Holy Spirit Cult, and approaches Ye Yuxuan 296 297 298 301 312 325 330 332.

The separated soul eventually enters the illusion and destroys its Yu Tianshuang, provoking Qian Renxue into ending the false world. Rather than resist her final strike, it sacrifices itself, returning its soul power and memories with a request to save him. Qian Renxue accepts both that sacrifice and her discarded emotions, completes the inheritance, and vows to redefine angelic justice 346 347.

Divine Battles and Spirit City’s Defense

As the new Angel God, Qian Renxue intervenes against Tang San to rescue Yu Tianshuang. She uses her speed to cover the retreat and intends to hold Tang San off until daylight. When Bibi Dong instead cooperates with the Holy Spirit Cult to attain the Rakshasa Godhood, Qian Renxue condemns the sacrifice of her followers and orders the surviving Spirit Hall forces to withdraw 349 350 351 352.

She blocks pursuit with a curtain of holy light and draws concentrated solar flames into her body. The resulting power comes at the cost of her holy sword and serious internal injuries; Bibi Dong subsequently ambushes her with the Rakshasa Demon Scythe 353 354 355.

After recovering through Ye Lingling’s intervention, Qian Renxue refuses Bibi Dong’s demand to kill Shui Bing’er. She defends Spirit City using sunlight and the Angel Statue’s accumulated faith, but ultimately loses despite committing all her Divine Power and Power of Faith to her attack 355 356 357 359 366 367.

Shattering the Godhood

Facing Tang San as a God King, Qian Renxue deliberately destroys the Angel Godhood rather than preserve her immortality while others die. The released power restores her body and enables her final solar divine skill, but Tang San withstands it 375.

With her Divine Power nearly exhausted, she still intercepts his attack on Shui Bing’er. Reduced to physical strength and armor bracers for defense, she suffers repeated sword wounds while continuing to protect her 376.

Campaign Against the Holy Spirit Cult

After surviving the battle, Qian Renxue and Zhu Zhuqing are assigned to lead an army into the Star Luo Empire, retake its territory, and eliminate the remaining cult forces 380.

There, she encounters another soul-harvesting array. Her attack is absorbed, recalling the array used during Bibi Dong’s ascension. Realizing the danger extends beyond her immediate battlefield, she abandons the attempt to destroy it and races toward the Heaven Dou Empire to support Yu Tianshuang 385.
