Transmigration and Expulsion

Li Zhiyan grew up on Douluo Continent with memories of Blue Star and a Succubus mark on his forehead. After awakening his Martial Soul, he planned to remain inconspicuous at Shrek Academy and follow the protagonist's group through the story. His appearance and closeness to several female students instead provoked jealousy among the male students 1.

Tang San, Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun demanded his expulsion, citing his Thousand-Year First Soul Ring as evidence of evil cultivation. Yu Xiaogang supported the accusation after Li Zhiyan refused his earlier demand to surrender an imagined cultivation method. Flender expelled him despite acknowledging that he had done nothing wrong. The expulsion activated Li Zhiyan's system and changed his goal from avoiding conflict to taking revenge 1.

Escape from Tang Hao and Recovery of Ah Yin

Tang Hao pursued Li Zhiyan after his departure and attempted to kill him. An Invincibility Talisman protected him from both Tang Hao's pressure and a direct attack, after which the system teleported him to Ah Yin's hidden cave behind Holy Soul Village 2.

Li Zhiyan dug up Ah Yin's rootstock, recovered her Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone, and was transported to Suotuo City. There, he cultivated in an inconspicuous hotel and used his Succubus Soul Power to restore her temporary human form. Their relationship became part of his revenge against Tang Hao and Tang San, although Ah Yin continued to ask to return to Holy Soul Village 3 4 10.

Appearance

Li Zhiyan is repeatedly described as exceptionally handsome, with his appearance contributing to both female attention and male jealousy 1 5 17.

Personality

Initially cautious, Li Zhiyan prefers concealment and preparation over direct confrontation. He recognizes his early disadvantage against stronger Soul Masters, avoids entering Shrek Academy after his expulsion, and repeatedly checks Tang Hao's location before acting 1 4 5 17.

His expulsion makes him openly vindictive. He takes satisfaction in turning former classmates against one another, uses Tang San's own weapons to frame him, and regards his relationship with Ah Yin as retaliation against the Tang family. He also deliberately waits for Tang San's group to be beaten before intervening against Bu Le and his companions 4 10 18.

Li Zhiyan is possessive and willing to exploit others' vulnerabilities. He refuses Ah Yin's requests to leave, invokes her dependence on his Soul Power, and continues unwanted advances while his Martial Soul impairs her judgment. In contrast, he is direct with Zhu Zhuqing about already having Xiao Wu as a girlfriend and wanting multiple partners 10 12 25.

Succubus Martial Soul

His original Martial Soul specializes in control, attraction, and cultivation through interaction with women and plant-type Soul Beasts 1 3 25.
