Background

Hu Jiu awakened an ordinary Carrot Spirit with only Innate Soul Power Level Two. Though initially excited to possess supernatural power, he recognized his poor natural aptitude and began planning how to compensate for it. His parents, Hu Rui and Emma, celebrated his ability to become a soul master, while Old Jack entrusted him with the Soul Power Meditation Method and Five Senses Strengthening Technique. 2

He possessed an AFK Panel that could passively cultivate techniques placed in its idle slots. He used it to master Old Jack’s manuals, then expanded its use to soul skills, soul rings, self-created techniques, and soul bones. The panel’s continuous cultivation became the foundation of his rapid advancement despite his initially low innate soul power. 3 25 271

After entering Nuoding Academy, Hu Jiu defeated Wang Sheng and challenged Xiao Wu under the Seventh Dormitory’s tradition. He became close to Xiao Wu and Tang San, later joining Shrek Academy and developing into the group’s strongest support-type combatant. 8 16

Hu Jiu is calculating, ambitious, and highly conscious of the importance of strength. He often conceals his true cultivation, preserves trump cards, and plans around future threats rather than relying on direct confrontation. His decision to cultivate Transformation originated from a desire to conceal Xiao Wu’s Soul Beast aura, though he kept that motive hidden from Tang San. 26 328
