The duel unleashed Cthulhu’s influence across the city, where the survivors saw his projection and the darkness vanished, leaving the world beginning to change.

• Shen Hui found his companions inside the Behemoth and used the Transcendent’s mark to learn that the Transcendents had gone to another space, then secured seven Star Cores and escaped with the others.
• Shen Hui fused a Star Core into the Death World, gave three to the Backrooms World, and created new levels that gained a World Will and Mortality.

Shen Hui investigated the Laughing Moon Cult’s ritual, which trapped him and his companions in fused Creation Worlds and brought Laughing Moon into the Real World. After Laughing Moon trapped Shen Hui in a consciousness-shaped world, he reclaimed his identity and Cthulhu destroyed the deity, leaving Shen Hui and his companions back in the tunnels.

• Shen Hui restored order to Qingxue’s Creation World by linking it to the Death World and spreading Cthulhu’s faith, then comforted Qingxue as she awoke.
• Shen Hui and Zhiyue joined a World Association mission to investigate Laughing Moon Cult strongholds, where the team found a sacrificial array and a message about following Mother.

As preparations for the Chaos Forbidden Domain began, Shen Hui helped Huang Lingheng create a deity and later advised Ye Long on his own new god.
