Crimson Immortal 3
"Senior... why did you bring me here?"
With a thud, Lin Sui was tossed into the cave. Su Fuxi cast several restrictions to seal the entrance.
"Why, to have you help me with something." She walked toward Lin Sui step by step, crouched down, and grabbed his chin.
"..." Lin Sui only thought this person was very strange, and the atmosphere was a little awkward.
Suddenly, everything went black before his eyes. Su Fuxi had sealed off his sight!
His vision plunged into darkness, and his spiritual sense found nothing but darkness too, as though every last speck of light in the cave had vanished in an instant.
"Don't release your spiritual sense, junior. Disobey me, and I'll cripple you."
Su Fuxi couldn't be bothered to expend any more effort suppressing Crimson Immortal. Right now, her body felt unbearably restless, and a cold, scorching heat was rising within her, causing her immense pain.
Hah... She panted, her voice growing breathy without her realizing it. "Junior, I was accidentally poisoned, and I need to dual cultivate... You, be good and do as you're told. Once it's over, I won't make things difficult for you. Understand?"
In the dark, as soon as she finished speaking, Lin Sui felt her start to undo his belt. Greatly alarmed, he reached out by feel and grabbed her hand, only to freeze again. The skin on her wrist was soft, smooth, and delicate, nothing like that of an old woman.
The belt on his disciple's robe wasn't complicated, and Su Fuxi quickly undid it.
Lin Sui finally recovered from his shock. "...No, wait! Senior, I can go find you another male cultivator..."
"There's no time... I've been poisoned for almost a month." Su Fuxi pinned down his struggling hands and pressed her fair fingers to his chest. The crushing force of the Golden Core Stage slammed Lin Sui to the ground in an instant, his spiritual power still bound.
No, I can't! Furious, Lin Sui was about to break through the seal even at the cost of serious injury when the force pinning down his chest suddenly eased. Someone leaned down beside his ear, her breath fragrant as orchids. "Don't you... want it?"
Lin Sui froze. In that instant, he caught a familiar scent!
It was the same one he had smelled when he was first brought to Chongming Pavilion all those years ago: a pure, clean, faintly perceptible orchid fragrance!
H-how could that be...?
How could this person have that scent, the one I thought was one of a kind?
Lin Sui was instantly torn in two.
His master was nearby, less than five hundred li away.
This person had appeared shortly after the bell rang and seemed to know him well, having taken control of all his magical treasures.
This cave abode was less than two hundred li from that forbidden array.
Incredibly, the forbidden array had also seemed to be waiting for him.
This person had been waiting on the only path the bell's guidance could have led him down.
Everything before Lin Sui's eyes was pitch-black, but his other senses were clear, and his thoughts raced. In the time he had spent in a daze, his robe had already fallen open, and slightly cool fingers touched him, feeling both familiar and unfamiliar.
More importantly, if the black-robed person didn't know him, there would be no need to disguise her voice and face to hide her identity, would there...?
The answer was on the tip of his tongue!
He made one last attempt to test her. "Senior, please let me go. My master is nearby. She'll certainly come looking for me. Aren't you afraid she'll kill you?"
The fingers undoing his trousers paused. "Heh, are you threatening me, junior?" Cold fingers gripped his chin.
Lin Sui fell silent for a moment. "I wouldn't dare..."
The next instant, his robe fell completely open. Lin Sui stiffened when his body abruptly met the slightly cool air. He experimentally moved his arms. The air was quiet for a while, and then he heard the rustling of clothes across from him in the dark. It wasn't hard to guess what the other person was doing.
Lin Sui gathered his courage and pushed himself upright. In the dark, Su Fuxi's clothes were half-undone, and she was panting as she untied her belt. Seeing him move, she immediately turned toward him and shouted hoarsely, "Don't move!"
"Yes. Senior, I just... may I touch you?" Eyes closed, Lin Sui boldly reached out. By touch, he found soft silk and gauze, seemingly the hem of a skirt.
Su Fuxi neither moved nor spoke. She let out a breath, unable to suppress her pained panting. Seeing that she didn't object, Lin Sui immediately grasped the fabric in his hand and carefully rubbed it between his fingers.
The fabric felt very familiar. In the darkness, he clutched a piece of it like a lecher and brought it under his nose to sniff. Sure enough, there was a faint, familiar fragrance.
Everything suddenly became clear to him.
He hadn't imagined it.
The dress fabric came from the Purple Flower Valley Market. He had originally kept a Violet Cloud Flowing Gauze Dress in his storage bag, a garment he had commissioned at the Immortal Rust Workshop the first time he saved up enough spirit stones. He had intended to give it to Su Fuxi as a birthday gift, but had never had the chance.
And that incense was the same kind that had been used in the pavilion for years. She also had the same incense pellets in her wardrobe. This fragrance was unique to the Azure Cloud Sect's Spirit Herb Hall, and smelled even better mingled with her scent.
"...Junior, don't be so presumptuous." Lin Sui's actions rattled Su Fuxi a little. She snatched her skirt away and gave him a sharp rebuke.
What are you doing? What are you doing, you rebellious disciple?!
Although Su Fuxi was forcing Lin Sui into this, she would never let him know about this relationship. It was a secret.
If the Cauldron Mark in Lin Sui's body hadn't still been immature, she would have seized his body by now!
The silky fabric slid across Lin Sui's palm and slipped away, but excitement belatedly stirred in his heart.
The fragrance and the dress fabric were details she took for granted, but Lin Sui had committed every little bit to memory. For so many years, he had always been careful and cautious, secretly attending to everything about her like a thief.
Su Fuxi would never have thought of any of these tiny details, much less imagined that Lin Sui would notice them. This was a gap in her otherwise meticulous precautions.
"Junior, don't touch where you shouldn't. Now you can help me." Suddenly, Su Fuxi, at the end of her patience, pushed Lin Sui down. Her muffled, hoarse voice sounded beside his ear.
That voice left him not knowing whether to laugh or cry. To hide her identity, she had actually gone this far.
In fact, even if she had asked Lin Sui to do this as herself, he would have been more than willing!
Although he knew his master was only doing this to cure the poison, he... he would still do it willingly.
She had said she had been poisoned for a month. The poison had to be extremely potent, or a Golden Core cultivator couldn't have been unable to deal with it. She must have endured it for a long time. At the thought, Lin Sui's heart ached for her.
"Mas... yes! Senior..." The word had nearly slipped out, and Lin Sui hurriedly corrected himself. To make his act more convincing, he added, "Senior, it's a promise. You can't make things difficult for me afterward."
"Mm, mnh..." Su Fuxi was about to agree when the now strongly built Lin Sui suddenly flipped them over, reversing their positions, and caught her off guard with a kiss on the lips. She panicked and lashed out with a slap. Feeling the rush of air, Lin Sui instinctively turned his head. "Senior?"
Her slap missed. Lin Sui asked innocently, "Isn't this how I'm supposed to help? Then what should I do?"
Su Fuxi squeezed her eyes shut, feeling utterly vexed. "You don't know how?"
"Senior, this is my first time doing something like this. I really don't... don't quite know how." Lin Sui panted heavily. Discussing such a thing with her, he really couldn't help himself; it was terribly hard to control his reaction.
He hesitated inwardly. If I call her Master now and force her to face who we really are, will she admit it...? No, given her temperament, she'll surely fly into a rage out of shame. She might be unable to face it and simply expel me from her tutelage!
In the dark, she seemed to fall silent for a moment. "Fine, I'll teach you."
Teach me? Fireworks exploded in Lin Sui's mind. His whole body jolted, and his face instantly flushed bright red in the dark.
Unable to see anything, he could only rely on touch. He touched Su Fuxi and asked tentatively in a low voice, "Senior, could you restore my sight?"
"I promise I absolutely won't release my spiritual sense."
"No."
"Oh... then I'll have to feel with my hands."
"..."
Her bare back touched the ground. It was very cold, and Su Fuxi suddenly felt a distaste for the dirt. With a movement of her spiritual sense, she took a soft mat from Lin Sui's storage bag.
There was no time to think about anything else. Curing the poison was naturally more important. She raised her arms around his sturdy shoulders and couldn't help pressing close to his warm chest to ease the cold and heat of Crimson Immortal.
"I'm hot and cold. Press against me."
"If we can't cure the poison and I die, you'll be buried with me!"
