A few days later, Olivier had already left alone. Jason and Olivier didn't have much interaction to begin with, the only favor Jason had done for her was giving her a Highgod Artifact. Of course, Jason knew in his heart that this was because he had taken the Mystic Ice Sword that originally belonged to him.
Jason did not go to the Netherworld for the time being, since Linda and the others were still Refine Divine Spark.
That evening, Linley came to see Jason. Not long ago, Beirut had told him about the Four Divine Beasts Clan, so Linley planned to go to the Infernal Realm.
"I found some information about the Four Divine Beasts Clan in the Netherworld before. I heard that there used to be a branch of the Four Divine Beasts Clan in the Netherworld, but it seems that something happened recently and they all withdrew back to the Infernal Realm."
Linley said with a hint of regret, "I see. If the Netherworld has a base for the Four Divine Beasts Clan, I could go Netherworld with you, sir."
Jason stroked his chin, pondered for a moment, and said, "To be honest, Monica and her mother are also from the Azure Dragon Clan. Going to the Infernal Realm is better than going to the Netherworld. Tsk, maybe I should go to the Infernal Realm too?"
Linley looked at Jason with a hint of expectation in his eyes.
Jason certainly wanted to go to the Netherworld; his several avatars had been separated for too long. However, it's true that many Deity-level also separate their avatars to avoid being wiped out by their enemies.
Just then, Beirut's voice came. "Jason, come to my castle."
Jason said to Linley, "Let's wait and see. Lord Beirut wants to see me."
When Jason arrived at the Amethyst Castle, the castle doors opened automatically, clearly indicating that the castle's intelligence recognized Jason.
"Your Excellency Beirut," Jason bowed.
"I previously discovered that the research on the bloodline of the magical beast I gave you seems to be making progress?" Beirut remained as calm as ever.
Jason didn't hide anything. "We made a breakthrough just a month ago, and now we're doing the final tests."
Beirut gave a look that suggested he explain in detail.
"This divine beast is called ' Annihilation.' It has no supernatural powers, only the talent ' Annihilation Eye.' I awakened this talent after I fully fused with and activated my bloodline."
The "Annihilation Eye" allows you to see the "Annihilation" aspects of your opponent, similar to weaknesses.
"That's all?"
"That's all I've figured out for now."
Beirut stroked his beard, somewhat displeased. He remembered that shortly after breaking through to the Highgod, he had been traveling in the Infernal Realm, and demons below the Seven Star Fiend didn't even have the power to harm him.
Even though he didn't consume much Divine Spark, his physical defense at that time was at least at the level of a Highgod Artifact, and his bones were close to those of Sovereign Artifact.
Of course, he was a very cautious person and knew that his soul defense was weak and that he had not God-Eater. Therefore, he did not attempt to challenge any Asura before he was appreciated by the Sovereign of the Blood Peak Continent and bestowed with Sovereign Artifact.
During this period, the only opponent who could break through his physical defenses and injure his bones was that Demon. Beirut clearly judged at the time that the opponent's strength was not strong, its speed and defense were only at the level of Seven Star Fiend, but its physical attack was ridiculously strong.
Beirut had always suspected that the other party possessed a very powerful supernatural ability, one that was no less powerful than that of the "God-Eater Rat"!
Unfortunately, he lacked talent in the study of bloodlines, and it wasn't until Jason fused with this bloodline that he realized the other party's supernatural powers didn't seem to be very strong.
Jason's words interrupted Beirut's recollection, "Lord Beirut, I've tried it many times recently, and this ' Annihilation Eye ' talent is not weak. ' Annihilation ' is not the same as a weakness. This ' Annihilation Eye ' talent involves extremely profound Edicts of Destruction."
Beirut glanced at Jason and said disdainfully, "Slash me."
"I'm sorry."
Jason drew his Mystic Ice Sword, and his eyes Reflection Beirut's image, but this reflection had several colored lines on it.
"As expected of the God-Eater Rat," Jason thought to himself.
He dared to tell Beirut that this "Annihilation Eye" talent was extraordinary, naturally because he had tested it with a reference object.
He once used the "Annihilation Eye" to observe his own Fate Clone and the Water Clone that had used the Crystal Space, both of which were covered in "Annihilation Line." Furthermore, Jason's Destruction Clone, which was only at the level of Lowgod, could directly break through the defenses of the Fate Clone and the Water Clone if it accurately struck these "Annihilation Line."
Jason hasn't figured out the underlying principles yet, but it likely involves some profound Edicts of Destruction, or even some laws that don't exist in the Coiling Dragon World.
Jason thrust his Mystic Ice Sword, aiming for Beirut's left shoulder, slightly above his armpit.
"Bang!" Jason was sent flying backward by the impact.
"Hey, not bad. You hit one of the few weak points on my upper body." Beirut rarely uttered a word of praise.
The clothes were torn at the stab wound, and a bloody mark was left on the skin.
The true form of Beirut has always been in the Infernal Realm, while Jason is facing Wind Sovereign Clone!
The physical strength of a main Divine Clone is certainly stronger than that of Highgod's avatar, but it is definitely not at the level of Sovereign Artifact. However, when Beirut was studying the essence blood of the Four Divine Beasts, he also allowed his main Divine Clone to absorb a lot of the essence blood of the White Tiger Sovereign, and its current physical strength is at the level of a top-grade Highgod Artifact.
Given Jason's strength, leaving even a crease on his skin would be the limit, yet it has actually pierced through his skin. Based on this, it can be inferred that the "Annihilation Eye" talent is far more than simply seeing through weaknesses.
When they looked at Jason again, they found that blood was seeping from Jason's eyes.
Jason retrieved the Destruction Clone back into his main body. "This talent places a heavy burden on the eyes and soul. My Destruction Clone is only at the Lowgod level, and can only last for ten seconds."
Beirut suddenly thought of something, "Does it have anything to do with my own strength?"
"No, the Annihilation Eye all targets the same; its duration depends solely on myself."
Jason then explained the entire process of activating this bloodline again.
Beirut nodded. "I'll try it first, then I'll contact you. Also, put your trip to the Netherworld on hold for now."
"Yes, Lord Beirut."
After Jason left, a Beirut clone dressed in a black robe emerged from his body.
"My Destruction Clone is only of average strength, but with this ' Annihilation ' bloodline, it should be able to play a role in battle."
Jason returned to Bloodshadow Valley.
Jason guessed that Beirut's interest in the "Annihilation" Divine Beast Bloodline with its destructive attributes led him to speculate that Beirut likely possessed Destruction Clone. This was understandable, given Beirut's own history of bloodshed and the immense Power of Faith multiple Destruction Clone wouldn't be difficult for it.
His concern was why Beirut would care about whether or not he should go to the Netherworld.
"Does he want me to protect Bebe? It's better to let Bluefire handle this."
Jason's train of thought was quickly interrupted as a powerful Highgod level enveloped him.
"Jason, right? All members of the Rhine Clan must die!"
Jason flew into the Bloodshadow Valley and bumped right into the imposing elder from the "something family" of the Infernal Realm.
(After carefully checking the original work, I couldn't find which of the Eight Great Clans this Sadista belongs to, so I'm tentatively assuming it's the one from the Infernal Realm.)
The Crystal Space opened in time, followed by the clash of the opponents' gauntlets.
The Crystal Space shattered, and amidst the falling rain, Jason was sent flying backwards.
He now considers himself to be at the level of Six-Star Fiend, while the other party clearly dares to compete for the treasures of the Necropolis of the Gods, possessing the strength of a standard Seven Star Fiend.
(I think Sadista still has the strength of Seven Star Fiend. After all, a family that can fight to the death with the Four Divine Beasts Clan wouldn't be so stingy as to send down a Six-Star Fiend. The original work says that he has fused three types of Darkness Element, but it doesn't mention Fire Element. Moreover, there are also descendants of top divine beasts among the Eight Great Clans. It's no problem for them to reach the Seven Star Fiend.)
Several divine senses swept over, while the other party responded with righteous indignation.
"Gentlemen, I am Sadista of the Renners Clan. My family has a long-standing feud with the Rhine Clan. Today's battle is a matter between our two families, and I hope you will not interfere!" Sadista said with an air of righteous indignation.
Jason felt frustrated. The plot that originally belonged to Bluefire had shifted to him. He could guess the reason: the other party probably couldn't kill Linley, and since he thought he had high potential, he didn't want the Four Divine Beasts Clan to have another potential ally.
"Why didn't this guy send a Midgod to assassinate Linley before attacking? I wasn't prepared at all," Jason thought bitterly.
In this life Linley had few enemies after Jason killed O'Gavin, thanks to Jason's influence. He had already traveled all over the Yulan Continent, so Sadista had no chance to send Midgod to assassinate Linley.
Bluefire's divine sense transmitted over. "Lord Jason, do you need help?"
"Wait a minute, the outcome isn't decided yet." Jason didn't immediately refuse.
Jason was surprised by the opponent's strength. He had thought his Crystal Space could withstand two attacks, but it broke in one blow.
"It should be the peak of Seven Star Fiend," Jason judged.
If this strength is properly guarded against, even the Sovereign’s Might wouldn't be enough to defeat it in a short time.
However, it was clear that Sadista didn't take Jason seriously at all. His gauntlets, wreathed in intense flames, reached out and grabbed at him.
Jason's Crystal Space had just shattered, and he couldn't use it again for the time being, so he had no choice but to throw out the Holy Bible in his hand.
With the current strength of the Fate Clone, activating this Highgod Artifact is enough to withstand an attack from Six-Star Fiend.
However, with a single blow, this Holy Bible, which belonged to the Radiant Church, burst into flames. The metal pages, which were made of ordinary paper, turned to ashes in the fire.
Sadista, seeing Jason's desperate struggle, wore a mocking expression. He transformed into a shadow and appeared before Jason.
The boxing gloves seemed capable of devouring everything, slamming towards Jason: "You beast of the Rhine Clan, let me show you—"
Before he could finish speaking, a glint flashed in Jason's eyes, and he unleashed Blood Blade slash.
With a sharp metallic scraping sound, Sadista's gauntlet shattered, piercing through his hand.
"Damn it! You—" Sadista roared in fury; Jason's strength was even greater than he had anticipated.
However, Jason was already exuding the aura of Sovereign’s Might.
"Ah!"
A terrified cry rang out, Sadista's head, wreathed in the Radiant Sovereign’s Might, slid limply to the ground.
A clone flew out, attempting to escape, but Jason, empowered by the Sovereign’s Might, was faster and cleaved it in two with a single strike.
After scanning the area and confirming that the other party had no other clones, Jason finally felt relieved after binding the other party's Interspatial Ring to himself.
With the Sovereign’s Might enhancing his divine sense, Jason directly locked onto the other Midgod and Lowgod brought by the opponent.
Jason appeared within the territory of the Yulan Empire, and then a massacre ensued.
Throughout the entire process, Bluefire and Adkins kept their divine senses focused on Jason, but Jason did not explain.
