Here?
Harry is missing.
Without any warning or hesitation, he simply vanished from everyone's world...
William had just finished dinner when he received the message.
He went to the balcony, leisurely arranged the deck chair, and only after lying down did he calmly process the news.
People going missing is a very common occurrence; people disappear every day.
In William's previous life, one of his classmates went missing.
He didn't reappear until two weeks later. When we met again, he was already skin and bones, with very dark circles under his eyes...
He later found out that he had been kept by a rich woman, and he couldn't stand it for more than a week, so he tried everything to escape.
Harry couldn't possibly have been kept by a sugar daddy, so his disappearance is quite intriguing.
The first person to discover the case was Tonks, who was on her way to change shifts at Privet Drive.
But they couldn't find Mundungus Fletcher, and when they turned around, they found that Harry was gone too.
This was certainly not a crime committed by someone he knew. Although Mundungus Fletcher was a scoundrel who liked to steal chickens, cats, and dogs, he was still loyal to Dumbledore.
Since the person is missing, we must find him alive or dead.
William controlled the Order of the Phoenix's intelligence system, and under his orders, all the "little birds" were operating at high speed.
He didn't go out to search himself. When have you ever seen a leader do the work personally? At most, he just talks the talk.
The errand-running work was naturally done by the wizards below.
At William's level, the focus shifts to remote command from the central command, maintaining contact with each intelligence officer.
Actually, he wasn't too worried about Harry's safety.
Because of Lily's protective magic, Voldemort could not get close to the "home" that Harry considered his home.
That is, near Privet Drive.
If Death Eaters broke into a house, there's no reason why there shouldn't be any signs of a struggle at the scene.
Harry's aunt and uncle's family would also have no chance of survival, and the Dark Mark would appear in the sky.
With none of these signs present, William is more inclined to believe that Harry ran away from home on his own.
After all, this wasn't the first time he'd done something like this.
He's a habitual offender.
However, Harry has very few places he can go.
He wasn't in either Black's old house or the Burrow.
So...
William was 70% certain that Harry had gone to Lily's old house or Spinner's End to find the truth.
After all, Harry had been busy exploring... sensational topics involving love triangles, ethics, and romance, such as "My Mother's Romantic History," "That Professor and My Mother's Relationship Is Not So Special," and "Who Did I Inherit My Black Hair Gene From?"
Just then, the balcony door was suddenly opened, making a slight creaking sound.
William looked over at the sound and a smile crept onto his face.
Hermione, who had just finished clearing the dishes, came over carrying a thick wool blanket.
It's January now, and although it hasn't snowed, the weather is still quite cold.
However, William wasn't too cold; he shook his head slightly.
"Nicolas said you're very weak after crafting the Philosopher's Stone, and you shouldn't be exposed to drafts. Listen to me!"
Without a word, Hermione covered William with the blanket.
There's a kind of coldness called "your girlfriend thinks you're cold," and William finally experienced it.
He has indeed been very weak lately.
The crafting of the Philosopher's Stone consumes life force.
This experience was no less than a fierce, life-or-death battle with Voldemort.
Given William's current condition, it will take until at least Easter for him to fully recover.
However, when it comes to keeping warm, blankets are just for fun; a human body heater is the most comfortable.
It's soft, elastic, and at a comfortable temperature.
William recalled watching the TV series "Ming Dynasty" in his previous life, where a certain cabinet tycoon had two maids warming his bed while he slept.
Their feet were all stretched out to that softest, most mysterious area to keep warm.
William, of course, had absolutely no desire for this wicked old society life; he swore it in Tom's name.
But that didn't stop him from beckoning Hermione into the blankets so they could... enjoy the snow together.
Hermione glanced around, and once she was sure Anne wasn't there, she felt no longer worried.
She kicked off her shoes, rolled over, and plopped down on the extra-large, extra-long recliner.
It's actually pretty much the same as a bed; you could easily sleep with another girl in it.
Hermione first pinned William down, then, worried that he would get cold, hurriedly pulled a blanket over him.
She even carefully tucked the corner of the blanket in.
William picked Hermione up and held her in his arms, resting his chin on her head, and took her hand to rub it.
"Why are your hands so hot?" Hermione asked, puzzled.
"By absorbing the magic power from the Philosopher's Stone, I can feel warm all over."
William handed over the maroon stone.
Hermione took it and carefully played with the Philosopher's Stone.
Nicolas didn't take it with him for the time being, but left after brewing the first batch of fresh Elixir of Life.
Now that it is still wartime, William needs this immense magic even more to fight.
It's a bit extravagant that William and Hermione are using the only existing Philosopher's Stone in the world as a hand warmer.
"It must have taken a lot of time out of him, right?" Hermione felt even more sorry for the boy.
William gazed at the remaining snow along the edge of the balcony and softly comforted her:
"It's alright. When you're about to die, just take the Elixir of Life. Anyway, you have the Philosopher's Stone."
Moreover, it's not like there's no way to replenish one's lifespan.
"What method?" Hermione nestled against William's chest, gazing at him curiously.
Do you remember those nine Deathly Hallows?
The girl nodded.
"One of them is a cauldron: it can automatically brew any Potions you want without the wizard having to lift a finger!"
William said, "If we find this Deathly Hallows, we can obtain Potions to restore our lifespan."
Do you have any leads?
"Of course," William laughed. "Dumbledore told me that all nine Deathly Hallows had appeared in the school."
It was still the era of the Four Founders.
Hufflepuff is not only a master chef, but also a top Potions Master.
Many of the precious Potions that exist today were brewed using her methods.
Including the Elixir of Life!
The true Elixir of Life requires the Philosopher's Stone as a raw material.
Having Philosopher's Stone doesn't mean you can brew this Potions.
The key lies in the cooking process.
Just like in the Tale of the Three Brothers, the eldest brother who obtained the Book of Alchemy successfully crafted the Philosopher's Stone.
However, because they lack the steps to Elixir of Life, they cannot achieve immortality.
How did the Hufflepuff invent the steps involved in brewing the Elixir of Life?
If you have that crucible, you can indeed deduce the ingredients and steps involved in obtaining the Potions.
This is not something that even the most skilled Potions Master cannot do.
"If we can find that cauldron, we can also get the Potions to keep us young!" Hermione suddenly exclaimed excitedly.
Her focus was rather unique, or rather, it was a concern shared by all girls.
William couldn't help but chuckle and said, "You're really thinking ahead. You're only seventeen."
However, if they do find the cauldron and combine it with the Elixir of Life, he and Hermione will not only gain longevity but also maintain their youth.
Isn't this exactly what Nicolas is ultimately pursuing?
Hermione curled up in his arms like a kitten, tilting her head back, and said emphatically:
"Men are all heartless jerks. I don't want to be an old woman in a few decades, someone who annoys you just by looking at me."
William, who was innocently targeted by the general criticism, smiled sheepishly.
Hermione squinted and suddenly asked:
"Do you like Professor Babbling? She's lived for hundreds of years, yet she looks like she's eighteen?"
Faced with this potentially disastrous question, William firmly shook his head and said, "No! I only like you!"
Hermione rolled her eyes at him, propped herself up with one hand, and said softly, "What's hurting me?"
"Philosopher's Stone!"
"The stone is in my hand!" the girl said disdainfully.
"Oh dear... no wonder my hands are a bit cold without the Philosopher's Stone." William forcibly changed the subject.
"Here you go..."
Before the girl could finish speaking, he had already slipped one hand inside her collar, grasping a soft, full mound, his fingers sinking slightly into it.
Hermione nestled in his arms, resting her head on his arm, her eyes filled with seductive allure, and a soft moan escaped her nose.
"No, you're too weak..."
"Try it and you'll see if it's true or not!"
Hermione's body went limp; she tilted her head back, her eyes glazed, and said:
"Right here?"
William gently bit her earlobe and said fiercely, "What else?"
Her body trembled, and she was about to object, but in the end, only a trembling voice escaped her lips:
Ah~
