Betting, Quidditch, Murder!
As a seasoned bettor on football, Professor McGonagall was not so easily persuaded by William.
However, after hearing Trelawney's Prophecy, her belief was immediately strengthened:
He'll bankrupt Transylvani!
To hell with nostalgia!
So, the moment she placed the bet, Professor McGonagall became a staunch England hater... the kind who wished they were dead!
Anyway, she's Scotland.
Professor Trelawney professed to believe in Inner Eye and Prophecy, but her actions betrayed her true intentions; she secretly bought Transylvania.
The news that the three fools had spent a lot of Galleon betting on the Transylvania Team quickly spread throughout the camp.
This became the biggest joke before the start of the competition.
It's not that no one wants to gamble on high odds and bet on Transylvania Team to win... but the odds are too low, and such actions are basically driven by gamblers' mentality.
These people didn't have many Galleon, unlike William and McGonagall who were so extravagant.
After all, on one side is the invincible England National Team in training matches, and on the other is a team of entirely amateur players. Would you dare to bet 10,000 Galleon on that one in ten thousand chance?
The entire Transylvania team was thrilled, especially their coach.
As a professor of Divination at the Uagadou School of Magic, he immediately declared:
We must become sworn brothers with William, not seeking to be born on the same day of the same month, but seeking to die on the same day of the same month.
You old rascal, you're really wicked... You're over eighty years old, who's going to live and die with you!
Despite the rumors circulating outside, William, the person involved, calmly called Hermione and Anne into his room.
"Anne, stay close to Hermione and don't do anything strange, okay?" he whispered.
"You must imitate Hermione's usual manner; you absolutely cannot make a mistake."
Anne, who had never used Polyjuice Potion before, was also a little excited. She inexplicably felt like she was participating in a major event.
"Brother, I know what's important!" Anne nodded obediently.
"You've entrusted me with something so important; it means my abilities... have finally reached the point where I can go on adventures with you, haven't they?"
Anne was beaming with joy.
She glanced at Hermione, giving her a playful look that said, "I'll get rid of you sooner or later."
William looked at her strangely and patted Anne's head pitifully.
No, child.
We chose you... not because you're outstanding, but simply because you're not famous. Whether you go to the Quidditch World Cup or not, nobody really cares.
He didn't answer, but deliberately glanced at Hermione.
Hermione glared at him nervously, waving her fist threateningly to stop him from uttering that comment about "unremarkable Anne"!
William winked and Hermione glared back and forth, their eyes sparking with tension.
What are you two doing? What are you exchanging glances about?!
Anne squeezed herself between the two, blocking their view.
"And brother, I've noticed something. Why isn't it me using the Polyjuice Potion to become you?"
Anne, chin in hand, said earnestly:
"I believe I know you better Hermione. I'm your own sister!"
"You only know the surface of William."
Hermione glanced at Anne, then retorted sharply, saying smugly, "You have no idea what he's like behind closed doors."
Anne rolled her eyes and glanced back and forth between the two of them with a strange look.
William gave him a chestnut as a reward and said, "What nonsense are you thinking!"
Anne snorted and picked up the Polyjuice Potion. She plucked seven or eight hairs from William's head and one from Hermione's.
She tilted her head and said sweetly, "Let's go."
Soon, the two finished taking the Polyjuice Potion and came out of their respective cubicles.
Anne gently pulled open her collar and looked down.
"Anne, don't look around!" Hermione blushed, grabbed Anne's ear, and tapped her on the head.
"I checked for my brother," Anne said matter-of-factly.
She lifted Hermione's delicate, pointed chin, then gave a soft hum and asked, "Does the movement resemble hers?"
"Let's go." William waved his hand dismissively.
Does he still need Anne's help with the checkup?
Eventful!
The two went outside, and William took out a hair and put it into the Polyjuice Potion.
These days, you definitely use a fake account to commit murder!
Kill Tom... Tom's old trumpet is obviously unusable, but Professor Babbling has provided a new United States trumpet.
Killing and competition go hand in hand!
As night fell, the Quidditch World Cup stadium was illuminated by lights in a staggered pattern, making the atmosphere even more lively.
Ludo's words were like thunder, resounding throughout the packed stadium.
"Ladies and gentlemen... welcome! Welcome to the opening ceremony of the 422nd Quidditch World Cup!"
The audience erupted in cheers and applause. Thousands of flags waved simultaneously, accompanied by a jumbled mess of the national anthem.
Inside a quiet tent, the lights were on, and the fireplace burned brightly.
A middle-aged wizard stood leisurely in the living room. He took a sip of Polyjuice Potion, then pulled a wand from his pocket and twirled it gently in his hand.
Returning to the United Kingdom, Tom was filled with mixed emotions. He still vividly remembered his previous humiliating departure.
Tom's original plan was to find Slytherin's Wand in United States and then secretly develop his power.
Waiting for Dumbledore to kill Voldemort.
But with the Quidditch World Cup, 100,000 wizards suddenly gathered here. Tom couldn't resist and still wanted to cause some trouble.
Calculating the time, Tom knew that the United Kingdom mascot had finished its presentation and the competition was about to begin.
A mascot... hehe.
The biggest hidden danger in Quidditch World Cup Quidditch is the mascot.
The venue, which can accommodate 100,000 people, also features mascots from sixteen countries.
Among them are many ferocious and Fantastic Beasts, such as the Selma Lake Monster brought by Norway; Haiti even went so far as to bring... the Inferi!
What would happen if these Fantastic Beasts suddenly went out of control in a venue with 100,000 people?!
Don't be fooled by the presence of 100,000 wizards... the more wizards there are, the more chaotic the scene will become. It's even possible that the vast majority of deaths will be due to trampling.
Tom's current abilities are limited to what he is sixteen years old due to special circumstances.
In terms of strength, he was no match for Dumbledore, nor for Stark.
But Tom never needed to kill anyone himself.
If he wanted, any wizard could be his wand; he could instantly conjure a group of powerful subordinates!
Tonight, those adorable mascots... are his subordinates.
Tom's lips curled into a cruel smile; he could even imagine tomorrow's news report:
The disastrous opening ceremony has raised questions about security at the United Kingdom Quidditch World Cup...
Killing someone at the Quidditch World Cup opening ceremony... that's so damn ceremonial!
I wonder if Stark, who's watching the game right now, will be... satisfied with this gift?
Tom was satisfied, anyway, as this was his third encounter with Stark.
"Let's begin! Let this celebration... ignite completely!"
The ground trembled slightly.
Tom's brow suddenly furrowed, the wall cracked open with a crash, and he hurriedly backed away.
At the same time, he hastily raised his wand, and the black light shone like a splash of ink.
The incoming spell was only briefly blocked before it shattered the black light, its power undiminished, and swept over.
Tom remained unfazed, twisting his right wrist and flicking his wand to summon a silver barrier in front of him.
The overwhelming spells, upon striking the barrier, were deflected and bounced off.
William slowly entered the room, swung his wand downwards, and a dazzling white light emanated from the tip of the wand.
The white light exploded and rubbed against the barrier, producing a piercing, metallic clanging sound.
Tom stepped back, and before he could wave his wand, a venomous snake suddenly emerged from the ground, hissing.
The triangular snake's head spun rapidly, then climbed upwards, about to bite William's wrist as he held his cane.
William seemed to have been prepared. He calmly raised his wrist, and the dazzling light intensified, easily slicing through the snake's body.
The silver barrier shattered, William raised his wand, and a violent explosion echoed through the room.
Tom slid down the wall, smashing the chair to pieces.
He stood still, expressionless, slightly suppressing the pain, and wiped the bright red blood from the corner of his mouth with his left hand.
Tom stared at the wizard who had attacked him for reasons unknown.
The other person twisted their neck and twitched their lips, probably mocking his vulnerability.
Then, the man pointed a finger at the outside of the tent, kindly suggesting that he try to escape.
Run away my ass!
The tent at this Ilvermorny School is equipped with Anti-Apparition Jinx!
Feeling somewhat aggrieved, Tom glared at the wizard who had raided the place at night and snarled, "Who are you? I'm just a key keeper!"
Tom, who had hoped to get some information out of the other person, almost vomited blood, because the other person seemed to be mute and completely ignored him.
After only a brief pause, the white light of the curse, like fireflies, hurtled towards him again.
Tom flicked his wrist, and beams of light shot out, clashing repeatedly with the opponent's spell.
Compared to the disheveled Tom, William is now in a much easier situation.
Tom's abilities were capped at sixteen, while William's were growing at an alarming rate.
Not to mention, for a long time during that year, he was in the Time-Turner with Hermione.
Tom was no match for William last year, and he certainly isn't now!
After a brief struggle, William's eyes suddenly sharpened, and his entire body surged with magical power, like a torrent of water.
He quickly lowered his wand slightly.
Tom knelt on one knee, thick blood sliding down his wrist. His robe was tattered, his body a bloody mess, with some wounds so deep that bone was visible.
He looked up, gritted his teeth, and sneered, "Don't let me find out who you are..."
William rolled his eyes. Including the Horcrux and Voldemort himself, he had killed Tom at least four or five times!
No one knows better than him how to kill Riddle!
William didn't approach Tom, he just waved his wand.
He hadn't exchanged a single word with his old friend from beginning to end. Suddenly, he turned around, pushed open the dilapidated door, and walked straight out.
The door closed, a sudden gust of wind rushed into the room, and the firelight in the fireplace flickered erratically.
The fire is extinguished.
Only a corpse, cut in half at the waist, remained.
A moment later, Kingsley rushed into the room and stared in disbelief at the scene before him.
After the dozen or so Auror gathered, they all looked at each other in bewilderment!
