Arc 4The Ring and the Reckoning
William used the Ravenclaw Ring’s time loop to train, uncover Tywin’s crimes, and bring him down. After returning to ordinary time and finishing his first year, William reunited with his family and met Hermione.
- William spent nearly two years in the loop studying magic, training with Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall, and practicing Quidditch before deciding to leave.
- William followed Tywin and pieced together how Tywin had used Time-Turners to attack his earlier selves, kill Robert, and pursue the Ravenclaw Ring.
- Dumbledore helped William connect Tywin’s crimes to his history as a Death Eater, and the ring sent William back to April twentieth.
- William attacked Tywin in his office, exposed his Dark Mark to Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick, and showed Dumbledore memories proving what had happened.
- William told his friends about the time loop, helped them plan a map-selling venture, and Tywin was convicted and sentenced to life in Azkaban.
- William earned perfect marks, and Dumbledore awarded Ravenclaw the House Cup and William a Special Award with one hundred house points.
- William reunited with Lyanna, Anne, Roy, and Bobocha at King's Cross, then received a golden letter from Nicolas Flamel.
- Nicolas Flamel lent Dumbledore the nearly depleted Philosopher’s Stone, while William welcomed Iris and his family and met Hermione.
