History
Origins under Da Zhou
Great Qin grew out of Qin Lu’s Beichuan Qin Clan. Da Zhou formally recognized the clan as an immortal lineage and appointed Qin Lu to an eighth-grade military office. The clan subsequently consolidated Yingchuan and developed its own military and civil administration 41 42 80.
By its commandery-kingdom period, Great Qin controlled the Northern Province under Da Zhou’s nominal sovereignty. Qin Lu secured the Zhou Emperor’s approval to act, while the six grand scholars organized the subsequent invasion of the Southern Province 218 221.
Founding in the Eight Immortals Sea
After Qin Lu formed a Golden Core, Great Qin established a new state in the Eight Immortals Sea. Ghost Valley selected its founding site because Qin Emperor Island was too small and remote to serve as the capital; that island instead remained a rear base for the Qin Clan and its direct affiliates 299 303.
Spring Rosy Clouds Island became Qin Island. Xianyang Immortal City was constructed around Vast Sea Lake, with room for nearly ten million inhabitants. Great Qin then established a centralized court, twelve Heavenly Academies, and a system of ranked immortal clans and territorial lords 299 300 301.
Expansion combined military pressure with economic warfare. Qin Coin and state-supported goods weakened rival factions, while Great Qin fought the Supreme Mystery Immortal Sect through limited engagements before undertaking broader conquest. Its eventual unification of the Eight Immortals Sea left several regions devastated and requiring reconstruction 303 336 348.
Return to the Northern Continent
Great Qin secretly prepared its mainland counterattack before openly entering the war against the Demon Race. Its intervention reversed major battles, killed more than twenty Demon Kings in the first full-scale war, and encouraged other human factions to join the resistance 372 386.
After becoming an ancient kingdom, Great Qin began absorbing the Northern Continent into its institutions. Existing states were dissolved into ranked immortal clans, while sects had to disband or become Dao Academies. Powers unwilling to comply faced expulsion or destruction 399 401.
Overseas and Extradomain Campaigns
Great Qin’s first unified campaign against the Seven Lights Sea Region deployed six fleets and hidden dragon forces. Its subsequent expedition to the Seven Beauties Star Domain used a Fifth-Tier teleportation passage, ten strategic-class flagships, and a hundred thousand cultivators 446 522.
The Seven Beauties campaign involved massacres of mortals, destruction of clans and sects, and systematic plunder. Captured Spirit Veins were transported back and merged into the Eighth Heaven to increase its size and Spiritual Power 524.
Imperial Consolidation
In calendar year 239, Great Qin recalled its overseas forces and imposed martial law before the northern invasion. Its armies prepared to hold the Ten Thousand Li Great Wall rather than permit another devastation of the Northern Continent 542 544.
Later reforms and continental engineering unified the Northern Domain. Under Qin Zheng’s subsequent policies, Great Qin developed a realm-wide transport network and revised its military and educational systems. The completed Ascension Platform further strengthened imperial authority by giving cultivators a visible path toward ascension 570 597 617.

Economy and Education
Qin Coin and Commerce
- Qin Coin was backed by Great Qin’s productive capacity, including its leading position in Eight Immortals Sea pill refinement 303.
- The Black Dragon Chamber of Commerce promoted the currency, accumulated Spirit Stones, and extended Great Qin’s control over trade 336.
- Currency competition weakened the Myriad Dharma Sect’s monetary influence, spread Qin Coin through Mystic Sword territory, and helped push the Sha Spirit Sect toward collapse 336.
- Qin Zhao used commercial wealth and state influence to recruit concealed contacts inside major Golden Core factions 336.
Dao Academy System
- Accessible inheritances: Registered subjects could obtain high-quality cultivation methods through local academies, giving Rogue Cultivators a strong incentive to settle 302.
- Early network: Twelve Heavenly Academies and twenty-four Earth Academies became the major framework beneath numerous smaller institutions 350.
- Imperial Dao Academy: Established above the existing academies; its graduation standard required forging a Dao Foundation by age sixty 402.
- Research and production: Academies trained cultivators while supporting artifact refinement, warship development, and coordinated immortal crafts 360 446 454.
- Later restructuring: Under Qin Zheng, only Golden Core cultivators could establish Dao Academies. Low-level institutions lost imperial support and became private elementary schools 597.
Military
Organization and Recruitment
| Period | Documented Organization |
|---|---|
| Warrior-army expansion | The Black Dragon Legion numbers three million before a planned doubling in calendar year 45 375. |

| Later cultivator army | Two hundred thousand cultivators, nearly half practicing demonic methods, especially Soul, Blood, Sha, and Dual Cultivation 462. |
| Northern frontier deployment | First Legion, 200,000 puppets, and immortal-clan cultivators defend the Great Wall; Second Legion prepares reinforcement while Third Legion guards the south 544. |
- Mobilization reserves: Ranked immortal clans and tens of thousands of academies provide additional cultivators during major wars 544.
- Combined arms: Defensive formations, puppet screens, warships, and artillery reduce dependence on exposed infantry 456.
- Battlefield recycling: Soul and corpse cultivation allow fallen enemies—and fallen allies—to become ghosts or refined corpses for further combat 544.
- Merit-driven aggression: Competition for rewards encourages fearless attacks, but also causes avoidable deaths when soldiers overextend 456.
Major Equipment and Weapons
- Black Dragon armor: Black Dragon-01 equips the standing legion; Black Dragon-02 is developed for ten thousand Qin Elite Soldiers 360.
- Early organized fleets: Each of the First and Second Fleets centers on a Third-Tier flagship supported by more than three hundred Second-Tier transport, firepower, and formation warships 322.
