"You helped me conceal my presence and change my appearance before, and that already affected the stability of space. Won't sending a divine artifact across worlds affect it too?"

Tang San asked curiously. In his previous life, he had reached level 100 and become a god, so he naturally knew a little about such things. The figure in the mirror, however, shook his head, unconcerned.

"It will have some effect. It may cause parts of space to overlap temporarily, but unless someone has exceptionally strong spiritual power and control over space, they won't be able to detect it at all. My plan is about to begin as well. You're on your own for the time being!"

Only then did Tang San breathe a sigh of relief. This world was too strange, completely different from the one in his previous life. If not for the help of his other self, who had already become a God King, he would still be fleeing everywhere like a stray dog.

He was also curious about what had happened earlier, so he picked up the mirror and watched. At first, everything seemed fine, but when Yu Xiaogang poured an entire bottle of blue-green powder into the medicine he had given him to take, Tang San's expression darkened.

Yu Xiaogang, if I don't kill you, I swear I'm not human! Tang San slumped helplessly to the floor. His lower body and lips felt sore and swollen, and then a wave of nausea welled up inside him. He bent over beside the toilet and vomited.

Meanwhile, Xu De was strolling through the Mingdu Soul Beast Forest. What he had done to Yu Xiaogang had been on a whim. As for that young man, Xu De still didn't know who he was. Although the young man looked perfectly normal, Xu De couldn't help feeling a sense of disgust toward him. That was also why he had made that decision today.

"Tian Meng, which one do you think I should choose for my Second Soul Ring?" Xu De asked the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm in his sea of consciousness. He was now a level 43 Soul Ancestor, and all four Soul Rings for his Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon were in place. He could finally turn his attention to his Sun Moon God Eyes.

As far as he was concerned, the best choice was naturally a hundred-thousand-year-old Evil Eye Tyrant. If it were any other kind of Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring, he might not be able to absorb it. First, there was his strength, and second, the difficulty of hunting one.

The Evil Eye Tyrant was different, though. It was right there in the Sun Moon Empire, and it was a spiritual-power Soul Beast. His current spiritual power was more than sufficient to absorb a Soul Ring beyond the usual age limit, and its Head Soul Bone would also give him an enormous boost.

"I still recommend finding the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion. Trust me, kid, she's definitely the best fit for you. And who knows? I might even be able to help you awaken a third Martial Soul!"

Xu De naturally knew what Tian Meng was planning. He had no intention of letting the Ice and Snow Emperors slip away. Whether it was a third Martial Soul or two Hundred Thousand Year Soul Rings, they would give him an enormous boost. But the time wasn't right yet. Spirit Hall hadn't even fallen, and the Far North was too dangerous.

What's going on?! As Xu De chatted with Tian Meng, a powerful spatial pull came from his Eye of the Moon. If anyone on the current Douluo Continent had the strongest spiritual power and spatial power, it was undoubtedly him.

Wave after wave of spatial power pressed down on Xu De, and his thoughts began to grow muddled. The threat of death crept into his heart. It was the first time he had ever felt this way. Ever since coming to this world, he had carried a sense of confidence-or perhaps arrogance.

He possessed the very best Martial Souls and knew the treasures and opportunities, the major factions, and all kinds of Soul Beasts like the back of his hand. Only today did he realize that, before becoming a god, he was nothing more than a powerful Soul Master. He could die too!

"Kid, stop standing there! Use your Martial Soul, quick!" Tian Meng roared in his sea of consciousness. Xu De came to his senses and summoned the Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon to possess him, then used his Sun Martial Soul to strengthen himself. As his physical strength increased, a pitch-black rift quietly appeared and swallowed him.

And so, amid the chaos, an unknown amount of time passed. When Xu De opened his eyes again, he found himself in a forest. He was certain this wasn't Mingdu, because none of the towering, iconic Soul Tools in Mingdu were anywhere to be seen.

"Kid, you're awake?" Tian Meng lay half-dead in his sea of consciousness, utterly listless.

"Brother Sky Dream, where are we?" Only after seeing Tian Meng did Xu De relax. He had thought he'd transmigrated a second time. It had scared him to death.

Tian Meng weakly shifted his silkworm body. "I don't know either. I've lived a million years, and this is the first time I've seen anything like it!"

While the two were wondering where they were, the sounds of fighting rang out nearby, sending a chill through Xu De's heart. He wasn't wearing a disguise right now. If the other party was from the Douluo Continent, wouldn't he be in trouble? After all, his wanted notice had practically spread through every street and alley.

He could no longer use either his Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon or his Eye of the Sun. Only his Eye of the Moon had one final strike left. If the newcomers were too strong or there were more than two of them, he really would be done for.

As he hesitated, the sounds of fighting suddenly drew closer. The first to come into view was a boy of about eleven or twelve, with short black hair and gray cloth clothes. If Xu De had to pick out anything unusual about him, it was that he was quite handsome and had a pair of deep blue eyes.

Behind him, a Soul Beast about a meter tall was chasing him. It was covered in brownish-yellow fur, had brown eyes, and possessed extraordinarily long arms.

Xu De had often studied illustrated guides to Soul Beasts, so he naturally recognized it. Wasn't that the Wind Baboon that had almost killed a god single-handedly? And it was a Ten-Year Soul Beast too. What a coincidence!

The boy was startled when he saw Xu De lying on the ground. The short blade he had been using to fend off the Wind Baboon was knocked flying in an instant. The Wind Baboon let out a fierce roar in his direction, then opened its great maw.

A ball of white light immediately shot from its mouth, straight at the blue-eyed boy. He clearly had no idea how to deal with it. He tried to turn and run, but his strength was spent, and he could only close his eyes and wait for death. Just as the boy was about to die at the Wind Baboon's hands,-

A streak of silvery-white light flashed past. The Wind Baboon toppled stiffly to the ground as though it had lost consciousness. White light emerged from its body and gathered into a white ring above the corpse.

When the blue-eyed boy opened his eyes again, the Wind Baboon was thoroughly dead, and the only one left nearby was Xu De, lying on the ground. He wasn't stupid; he knew Xu De had saved him. He hurriedly picked up the short blade beside him and rushed to Xu De's side.

"Big brother, thank you for saving me just now!" The boy helped Xu De up and sat him against a tree, then thanked him sincerely.

Xu De hadn't saved the boy without thinking it through. First, he couldn't bear to stand by. Second, he was capable of only one strike, and this was clearly a place where Soul Beasts gathered. After the Wind Baboon killed the boy, he would have to act sooner or later anyway. He might as well save the boy and have him lead him to a nearby town.

"It's all right. Whoever had been here, I think they would have stepped in." Xu De gave him a kind smile. Although the boy was about his age, Xu De was a size bigger, so he didn't correct the way the boy addressed him.

Xu De leaned against the tree, recovering his strength, while the boy carefully wiped the short blade in his hand. This piqued Xu De's interest.

"Little brother, that short blade of yours looks extremely well made. Does it have a name?"

Hearing Xu De's praise, the boy gave a shy smile, though a lingering sadness lay hidden in his eyes. He stroked the short blade with care.

"This is something my mother left behind. It's called the White Tiger Dagger."
