History

Investigation of Shen Luo

Bibi Dong first appears in the Pope Palace receiving reports about Shen Luo’s mysterious stage. She angrily dismisses his claim to be a deity and his demand that Spirit Hall prostrate itself before him 1.

Klee’s explosions and a flame beam over Spirit City force her to take the disturbance seriously, though she still rejects Yue Guan’s suggestion that they have encountered a god. She sends Ling Yuan to investigate, suspecting that a powerful fire-attribute Soul Master may be responsible. When the elders fail to return, she theorizes that Shen Luo has bewitched them with an illusion and authorizes She Long to slap them awake 9 15 16.

Yan’s challenge against Golden Crocodile Douluo overturns her assumptions. She initially tries to stop the fight, but Yan’s character-switching abilities allow him to contend with the Second Worship. After learning that those abilities came from Shen Luo—and seeing that the purchasers have lost Soul Power and Soul Rings—she agrees to visit him 24 25 26 27.

Confrontation and Public Humiliation

Bibi Dong proposes negotiating one hundred draws for each level of Soul Power, rather than the usual ten. She accompanies the seven Worships, four elders, and approximately five hundred powerful Soul Masters to Shen Luo’s stage. She supports testing his strength so Spirit Hall can determine whether it can pressure him into lowering his prices 32 33.

After Shen Luo nearly kills Qian Daoliu with an ordinary attack, Bibi Dong bows and apologizes. Her position deteriorates further when a commoner wielding Diluc defeats Golden Crocodile. Forced to release her Martial Soul and dodge the attack’s heat, she begins questioning whether traditional Martial Souls can still preserve Spirit Hall’s supremacy 34 35.

Shen Luo’s threat to leave for the Heaven Dou Empire triggers demands that Bibi Dong surrender the papacy to him. Character Acquisition and the Dragon Clan Raid

Bibi Dong eventually purchases pulls from Kokomi’s pool, obtaining Sangonomiya Kokomi and two copies of Keqing. Initially disappointed that Keqing is a standard rather than a “genuine” five-star, she later decides that repeated lost 50/50s offer a practical route to C6 49 68.

She leads Hu Liena and Spirit City commoners to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan for ascension materials. Remembering that the Sky Azure Bull Python lives near the forest’s central lake, she guides the group toward Kokomi’s required materials. After Gui Mei draws the beast out, Bibi Dong manifests Keqing and uses the Harbinger of Dawn to remove its scales. She takes only the amount needed for the level-twenty breakthrough 65 66 67.

With her materials secured, she leaves rather than continue waiting with Qian Daoliu and Qian Renxue for Bi Ji. Artifact Farming and Later Pulls

Bibi Dong participates in repeated battles against the reviving Titan Snow Demon King until everyone has obtained an Artifact. She later urges Shen Luo to lead another expedition when Gu Yuena becomes a boss capable of dropping every Artifact type 74 82.

Personality

Bibi Dong is stern, proud, and accustomed to obedience. She becomes impatient when her elders fail to report and initially regards Shen Luo as a fraud whose activities should be controlled by Spirit Hall. Her instinctive response to a commoner’s open contempt is to punish him, an impulse she suppresses while Shen Luo is present 15 16 32 34 35.

Her pride gives way when Spirit Hall’s survival is threatened. After witnessing Shen Luo’s strength and the commoners’ new combat power, she apologizes, kneels publicly, and accepts his conditions. She recognizes that refusing to participate in card drawing would leave Spirit Hall vulnerable even to newly empowered ordinary citizens 34 35 36.

She is ruthless in pursuing resources and protective of strategic information. At the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, she explicitly rejects negotiation in favor of robbery and conceals the source of her group’s abilities. She also prioritizes her own growth over waiting for her daughter’s materials, remaining only as long as she does out of consideration for Qian Daoliu 50 51 68.
