Ch. 53Setting Out for the Necropolis of the Gods

After ten years of training with Harry and his brothers, Luo Feng set out for the Necropolis of the Gods, only to learn he would be allowed to stay for twenty years. At the Dark Forest’s metallic castle, he waited through the night and finally came face-to-face with Beirut.

  • Luo Feng completed ten years of Wind Element training with Harry and his brothers, reaching strength beyond the five former Peak Saint Domain experts.
  • Luo Feng said goodbye to his younger brother Luo Fu and urged him to become a Saint Domain expert before his return.

  • The brothers entered the metallic castle and left Luo Feng outside, where he waited calmly until night fell.
  • Beirut appeared before Luo Feng, who opened his eyes in astonishment and excitement.

Ch. 54The Passage, the South Sea

  • Beirut led Luo Feng beneath the South Sea to the sealed entrance of the Necropolis of the Gods and opened it with a beam of black light.
  • Beirut guided Luo Feng through the passage to the enormous Necropolis and identified the Ba-Serpent as the guardian of its first eleven floors.

Ch. 57Water Profound Mystery, Ice Element

Luo Feng studied the Ba-Serpent’s icy aura while waiting for it to move, and unexpectedly gained an initial understanding of the Water Law’s Mysteries of Ice. After four months of practice, he formed an ice lotus, but a green-haired young man appeared behind him and effortlessly shattered it.

  • Luo Feng entered the third floor and found the sleeping Ba-Serpent coiled around an enormous iceberg, blocking the passage onward.
  • Unable to pass the Ba-Serpent safely, Luo Feng waited and trained in a corner while studying the freezing air around it.
  • Luo Feng realized that water at its extreme became ice and began condensing moisture into ice in his palm.
  • Luo Feng spent four months practicing and finally formed a white ice lotus.
  • A green-haired young man spoke from behind Luo Feng, then slapped the ice lotus apart when Luo Feng hurled it at him.

Ch. 58King of the South Sea, Tarosse

Luo Feng met Tarosse, the king of the South Sea, and learned how he came to administer the Necropolis of the Gods. Tarosse tested him at the entrance to the fourth floor, and Luo Feng used a Highgod Artifact to force his way through.

  • Tarosse watched Luo Feng enter and expressed surprise that he possessed a Highgod Artifact.

Ch. 59Snowy Bearcat

  • Luo Feng removed Azure Cloud and saw that Tarosse's casually thrown ice had deeply wounded his palm, then bowed in gratitude before flying to the fourth floor.
  • Tarosse watched Luo Feng leave and said he hoped they would meet again.
  • In the snowy world, Luo Feng reflected on the dangers of the Necropolis's floors and struck back a charging Snowy Bearcat without taking it seriously.

  • The Snowy Bearcat patriarch confronted Luo Feng for attacking a clan member and identified himself.
  • Luo Feng recognized the patriarch and recalled that his rare Wind Laws mastery made him stronger than the five ultimate Saint Domain experts.

Ch. 60Vocal Music Confrontation

Luo Feng countered the Snowy Bearcat patriarch’s flute with his zither, winning their vocal music contest and learning that the patriarch’s devotion to his clan kept him from advancing. After receiving directions to the next passage, Luo Feng left for the fifth floor and quickly killed its five Crimson Rock Demons.

  • The Snowy Bearcat patriarch accused Luo Feng of attacking one of his clan and played his flute to ensnare him with vocal music.
  • Luo Feng recovered quickly, answered with his zither, and the two musicians played until the patriarch realized he could not overcome him.
  • Luo Feng told the patriarch that his attachment to the Snowy Bearcat clan kept his music from reaching its full power, but the patriarch said he chose his children over becoming a deity.
  • Luo Feng exposed the little Snowy Bearcat’s feigned death, warned him, and learned from the patriarch that the passage to the next floor lay inside the tallest giant tree.
  • Luo Feng entered the fifth floor, evaded the five Crimson Rock Demons, and killed them all.

Ch. 61The Enraged Flame Tyrant

Luo Feng used his zither music to distract the Flame Tyrant and the Crimson Rock Demons, then raced toward the passage to the seventh layer. The Flame Tyrant broke free of the illusion and roared after him as Luo Feng escaped.

  • Luo Feng decided to use music to distract the Flame Tyrant rather than fight him directly.
  • Luo Feng entered the sixth layer and played the Startling Cloud Zither, captivating the Crimson Rock Demons.
  • Luo Feng changed his music to "Ambush from Ten Sides," drawing the Flame Tyrant into an illusion of Xiang Yu's final battle.
  • Luo Feng flew toward the central passage while the Flame Tyrant and more than a thousand Crimson Rock Demons remained entranced.
  • Luo Feng stopped playing and surged toward the seventh-layer passage, and the Flame Tyrant broke free and roared in anger.

Ch. 62Mother Empress Salabeir

  • Luo Feng escaped the seventh floor’s dense grass and roots, then searched the desert for the passage to the eighth floor.
  • Luo Feng found a black pyramid and Mother Empress Salabeir emerged to block the entrance.
  • Luo Feng severed Salabeir’s roots with a converging shadow-blade strike, but she refused to let him pass.
  • Luo Feng unleashed Wind’s Decisive Kill and sliced Salabeir in half.
  • Luo Feng took Salabeir’s Life Source Pearl, and her roots and vines fell still.

Ch. 63The Evil Eye King

  • Luo Feng merged the Life Source Pearl into his body and gained rapid healing.
  • Luo Feng killed Salabeir’s offspring on the seventh floor and prepared himself to face the Evil Eye King.

  • The Evil Eye King emerged from an iceberg and struck Luo Feng with a soul attack.
  • Luo Feng told the Evil Eye King he would not retreat and prepared to fight.

Ch. 64On the Brink of Death, Luo Feng

Luo Feng fought the Evil Eye King but was struck by its soul attack just as he escaped to the seventh floor, where his soul began to dissipate and his body froze in ice. As Luo Fu sensed his brother's apparent death, Luo Feng clung to life through his unresolved obsessions, leaving his survival and possible Three-element Soul Mutation uncertain.

  • Luo Feng attacked the Evil Eye King, then retreated toward the passage to the seventh floor while dodging its soul attacks.
  • The Evil Eye King wounded Luo Feng with a soul attack as Luo Feng fell through the passage into Salabair's world on the seventh floor.
  • Luo Feng's soul grew numb and began to dissipate, while Luo Fu sensed his brother's danger, collapsed in despair, and was knocked unconscious by Wa'ersi.
  • Luo Feng's body became encased in ice as the gray halo corroded his soul, leaving him unconscious and near death.
  • Luo Feng's memories of both lives, his brother, and his ambitions fueled his determination to survive and possibly undergo a Three-element Soul Mutation.

Ch. 65Three-element Soul Mutation

After fifteen years unconscious, Luo Feng awakened with a successful Three-element Soul Mutation and discovered he was close to reaching the Deity level. He defeated the Evil Eye King on the eighth floor, took its divine artifact, and flew toward the ninth floor.

  • Luo Feng announced he was going to the tenth floor, and Roy bowed and let him pass.

Ch. 67The Eleventh Floor: To Go or Not to Go?

Luo Feng decided he could not safely challenge the eleventh floor without comprehending the Profound Mystery of Dimension, so he began cultivating on the tenth floor instead. After killing its Abyssal Blade Demon, he focused on reaching Lowgod independently before his twenty-year limit ended.

  • Luo Feng weighed challenging the eleventh floor but judged that its millions of Abyssal Blade Demons would overwhelm him without the Profound Mystery of Dimension.
  • Luo Feng chose to cultivate on the tenth floor and wait until he could become a Deity-level expert before challenging the eleventh floor.
  • Luo Feng waited for the tenth floor's Abyssal Blade Demon, dodged its attack, and examined its blade-covered metal body.
  • Luo Feng killed the Abyssal Blade Demon and stored its saber, which he considered inferior to the weapons he already owned.
  • Luo Feng sat down to cultivate, aiming to reach Lowgod independently before his twenty-year time limit expired.

Ch. 68Wind Element, Lowgod

After four years of studying the Wind element, Luo Feng reached godhood on the tenth floor of the Necropolis of the Gods. He chose to form an external Wind Divine Clone, split and fused his soul with its Divine Spark, and created a divine body.

  • Luo Feng devoted himself to comprehending the Profound Truths of Speed until he crossed the boundary into the Deity Domain.
  • The Natural Laws descended upon Luo Feng, alerting the powerful beings throughout the Necropolis of the Gods to his ascension.
  • The Natural Laws formed a Wind-element Lowgod Divine Spark for Luo Feng, and he chose to keep it outside his body.
  • Luo Feng endured the pain of splitting his soul, then fused one portion with the Divine Spark and drew divine power from the Wind Element Sea to form a divine body.
  • Luo Feng merged his Divine Clone with his Saint Domain True Body.

Ch. 69Three Divine Sparks

After becoming a Lowgod through the Profound Mysteries of Speed, Luo Feng tested the Azure Cloud Gloves and traveled to the Necropolis of the Gods’ eleventh floor to claim its Divine Sparks. He drove the Abyssal Blade Demons into submission and reached the treasure site, where three Divine Sparks awaited him.

  • Luo Feng infused the Azure Cloud Gloves with divine power and recognized their dense baleful aura as evidence that they were a Highgod Artifact.
  • Luo Feng realized his Divine Spark gave him authority over space and flew to the eleventh floor, where he could move freely despite the rules that normally barred god-level experts from earlier floors.
  • Abyssal Blade Demons attacked Luo Feng, but he stopped them with his power and ordered them to summon their leader or face extermination.
  • The red Abyssal Blade Demon submitted and guided Luo Feng to the treasure site on a metal mountaintop.
  • Luo Feng found three Divine Sparks of wind, water, and lightning among the treasures and wondered whether Beirut had placed them there in advance.

Ch. 70Setting Out for the Twelfth Floor

Ch. 71The Twelfth Level of the Graveyard

Luo Feng entered the twelfth level of the Graveyard and faced its sorrowful Gatekeeper, a powerful Lowgod who attacked with soul pressure and gray divine energy. After breaking free of the Gatekeeper’s mental influence, Luo Feng fought back, and the two were still clashing as they flew through the shattered battlefield.

  • Luo Feng entered the icy, gloomy twelfth level and felt sorrow rising within him as he searched for the source of the strange fluctuations.
  • The gray-clad Gatekeeper appeared, identified himself, and used his sorrowful presence to assault Luo Feng’s soul.
  • Luo Feng resisted the soul attack and realized the Gatekeeper was a Lowgod who had comprehended four Profound Mysteries to minor completion.
  • The Gatekeeper sent deadly black blades from the ice and tore open space with a stomp, leaving Luo Feng bloodied.
  • Luo Feng charged at the Gatekeeper, and they exchanged a powerful clash of cyan and gray energy that tore up the icy ground.

  • Mona explained that the woman he loved betrayed him to a Deity-level expert, who made him a servant, before a battle between deities gave him a chance to escape and take revenge.
  • After Mona lost his mother and tried to destroy the continent, Beirut brought him to the Necropolis of the Gods, where he became the twelfth-floor gatekeeper; Luo Feng comforted him and promised him friendship.

Ch. 73Leaving the Necropolis of the Gods

  • Beirut arrived and escorted Luo Feng out of the Necropolis of the Gods.
  • Luo Feng joyfully embraced Luo Fu, learned that his brother had become a Saint Domain expert, and told the waiting experts he had reached the eleventh floor.
  • Beirut led Luo Feng, Luo Fu, and the others on the journey back to the Yulan Continent.
