Hatake Sakumo Is Injured
The morning sunlight streamed through the window, gently illuminating Koki's quiet bed and bringing a touch of warmth to the entire room.
Under the concerned gazes of everyone, Kakashi Earth Flow. He slowly approached Koki's bedside, his eyes revealing undisguised joy.
"You're awake," Kakashi said softly, his voice carrying an indescribable tenderness.
Koki's vision gradually cleared and fell on Kakashi, where he saw bloodstains on his clothes, a shocking sight.
The bloodstains did not appear to be completely dry, and they emitted a faint smell of blood.
Koki's heart pounded. He tried to sit up, but his weak body wouldn't obey him, and he finally fell heavily back onto the soft bed.
With a violent cough, his words became fragmented. "You went... cough cough, where did you go?" Koki asked anxiously, her eyes revealing deep worry.
Seeing this, Kakashi quickly reached out and gently pressed down on Koki, afraid that he would get hurt again.
"It's alright, this isn't my blood," Kakashi said in an extremely gentle voice.
However, Koki's eyes remained filled with worry, and he eagerly pressed for an answer, "Whose is this? What happened?"
Kakashi looked at Koki's eager gaze without speaking. A complex emotion flashed in his eyes, as if he had a thousand words to say but didn't know where to begin.
The Danzo incident is complex and involves many secrets and dangers, and he really doesn't want Koki to get involved.
Koki Kakashi remain silent, Koki grew increasingly anxious. He stared intently at Kakashi, trying to find the answer in his eyes, but Kakashi only looked at him silently. Due to his physical weakness, Koki could not press further and could only lie quietly on the bed, waiting for Kakashi's reply.
A brief silence fell over the room, broken only by the heavy breathing of Koki.
Kakashi slowly sat down on the edge of the bed and gently took Koki's hands in his. A cool breeze blew in from the window, ruffling their hair, but it couldn't dispel the heavy atmosphere.
After a long while, Kakashi finally took a deep breath, breaking the silence.
He gazed into Koki's eyes. "Koki, focus on getting better first. Once you've recovered, I'll tell you everything."
"Alright!" Koki gently bit his lip, a hint of helplessness flashing in his eyes, but he still nodded to show his understanding.
In the sweltering heat of summer, with the sun high in the sky and its rays blazing like flames, a gentle breeze arrives, carrying a touch of coolness that subtly permeates every corner of the room, bringing unparalleled comfort.
Koki lay quietly on the soft bed, feeling the gentle breeze, and was in a pleasant mood.
Kakashi sat on the edge of the bed, gently patting his shoulder as if to comfort him. Shisui stood beside him, holding a fan in his hand, gently waving it to send a cool breeze to Koki.
Under such double care, Koki soon felt sleepy. His eyes gradually became heavy, and his consciousness began to blur. He slowly closed his eyes and fell asleep.
On the bed, both Koki and Itachi slept peacefully, their faces serene.
Kakashi looked at him, his eyes full of tenderness, as if he could pour all the beauty in the world into his gaze.
But this gentleness didn't last long; Kakashi quickly suppressed his emotions and returned to his usual seriousness.
He slowly stood up, his steps so light they were almost silent. He turned and walked toward where Tsunade was.
Approaching Tsunade, Kakashi lowered his voice and said, "Lady Tsunade, could you please check on my father's injuries?"
Upon hearing this, Fugaku and Mikoto's expressions changed drastically. Fugaku asked in a trembling voice, "What happened to Sakumo- nii?"
Upon hearing Tsunade, Tsunade's expression tightened, and she urgently asked, "Hatake Sakumo? Quickly, take me to see him."
Obito, who was silently watching Koki's bedside, immediately walked over upon hearing this, a hint of worry in his eyes.
Kakashi's gaze fell in the direction of Koki. Shisui gave him a reassuring gesture, and Kakashi said nothing more, turning to lead the way. The group looked hurried, their hearts filled with worry.
The breeze was still blowing gently, but they had no time to appreciate it.
In that dark, abandoned room in the hospital, Hatake Sakumo gritted his teeth and struggled to bandage his wound with one hand.
He sat on the ground in a disheveled state, his face pale, cold sweat pouring from his forehead, his lips bloodless, and blood seeping from his wounds, staining the bandages red. Each bandaging action caused him excruciating pain, but he gritted his teeth and persevered.
Suddenly, footsteps outside broke the silence of the room.
Hatake Sakumo's eyes narrowed, and he instantly became alert. He quickly grabbed the Kunai beside him with his other hand, ready for battle.
However, as the familiar footsteps drew closer, his tense body relaxed slightly, and he let down his guard.
But then he frowned, wondering to himself: What's going on? He had clearly instructed Kakashi to be careful and not to let anyone else know about his injuries. Why did this kid bring so many people with him?
Just then, Kakashi and his group pushed open the door.
Hatake Sakumo was dumbfounded by the large number of people around him. Looking at this group of uninvited guests, he showed confusion in his eyes.
Kakashi rushed to his father's side and asked anxiously, "How are you?"
Hatake Sakumo took a deep breath, forcing himself to speak despite the pain, and said, "I'm fine, why are you all here?"
Tsunade stepped forward and said seriously, "Don't speak yet, let me see your injury."
Tsunade was secretly astonished: Who on earth could have inflicted such serious injuries on Hatake Sakumo? He was a being even stronger than the Sannin!
Fugaku said from the side, "Brother Sakumo, you've worried us so much!"
Mikoto looked at him with concern.
After carefully examining Hatake Sakumo's injuries, Tsunade finally breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Although it looks serious, it's just some superficial wounds. It's nothing serious; just rest."
Hatake Sakumo looked at Tsunade, his lips moving slightly as if he wanted to say something.
But before he could speak, Tsunade interrupted him, "Don't speak. I can see what you're thinking right away. Don't worry, I don't know anything."
Tsunade's gaze was open and honest as she continued, "You know, I've been traveling outside the village for years and have long lost interest in these worldly matters. What do I care about intrigues and schemes? I'd rather gamble and drink."
After saying that, she crossed her arms and looked completely indifferent.
Upon hearing Tsunade's words, Hatake Sakumo's worries dissipated considerably. He looked at Tsunade, his eyes filled with gratitude, and solemnly said to her, "Thank you."
The atmosphere in the room eased slightly, and Kakashi and the others breathed a sigh of relief.
Tsunade and said, "Alright, don't be so polite. Focus on recovering from your injuries and don't cause any more trouble."
While the adults inside were talking, Kakashi's gaze inadvertently swept towards Obito, and he gave him a wink.
Obito taken aback at first, then realized what was happening and silently followed Kakashi out of the room.
