The Fates Changed by Him
It really wasn't very good... But Koki just said that it didn't matter how it turned out, Obito sadly lowered his head.
Seeing Obito's teary eyes, Koki's heart softened. This was the future big boss, how could he be so adorable as a child? "Oh, Obito-nii, don't be like that, I didn't mean to."
Seeing that Obito had started to lower his head, Koki quickly stood up, walked to his side, and gently patted his shoulder.
Taking the opportunity, he reached out and ruffled Obito's hair, saying comfortingly, "Obito-nii, the rice balls you made are actually quite good. After all, you've only just started learning to cook, and my mom always said that cooking takes time and practice to improve."
Upon Obito, Obito looked up at Koki with teary eyes, "Really?" His voice trembled slightly.
Koki nodded. "Of course it's true, Obito-nii. And I think your rice balls are very creative, uh... the colors are also very beautifully matched."
Obito's lips curled up slightly, revealing a smile. "Really? You're not just trying to comfort me, are you?"
Koki shook her head. "No, Obito-nii. I really mean it. Your rice balls are really delicious. I love them."
As he spoke, to comfort Obito, he put on a look of grim determination and carefully picked up the colorful rice ball, taking a bite.
"Huh? This tastes... it's actually pretty good!" Koki opened her eyes and glanced at Obito in surprise. Although the rice ball was irregularly shaped and didn't look very appealing, the taste was unexpectedly quite good!
Obito Koki's sincere eyes, Obito's gloom gradually dissipated.
"Koki, the water's ready. Go take a bath." Kakashi's cool voice rang out from outside.
Shisui then spoke up at the opportune moment, saying, "Koki, why don't you go take a shower first? You can come out for dinner after you're done. We'll bring the dishes out so Uncle Sakumo doesn't have to wait too long."
"OK."
Koki walked out of the kitchen and saw Kakashi leaning lazily against the wall, seemingly waiting for him to come out.
"Thank you for your help." Koki politely expressed her gratitude.
"It's nothing." Kakashi waved his hand dismissively at Koki's polite words, then went into the kitchen to help.
Koki gently pushed open the bathroom door, and the moment he stepped inside, a wave of heat rushed towards him. He quietly closed the door, shutting out the outside noise and leaving only the tranquility and comfort of the bathroom.
Koki walked to the front of the bathtub and saw that it was already full of hot water. He reached in and tested the water temperature; it was just right, neither too hot nor too cold.
Next to the bathtub was a sink, and above the sink was a mirror, its surface shrouded in steam and covered with a thin layer of mist. Water droplets rolled down like pearls, Koki at the little boy in the mirror, a cute smile spreading across his face.
In the basket placed to the side, various items were neatly arranged, including folded pajamas, clean towels, and even...!?
Koki was completely confused. Where did Kakashi find him?
Ignoring this issue, everything seemed so peaceful and warm. If it weren't for the lingering pain from her fight with Might Guy today, Koki would almost be certain that she was still on Blue Star, that peaceful world, and not this cruel ninja world.
He gently shook his head and leisurely flipped into the bathtub.
"Hiss~" The moment he lay down in the bathtub, Koki couldn't help but sigh contentedly. It has to be said that Kakashi had a very good grasp of the water temperature. He closed his eyes, relaxed his body, and let the hot water wash away the fatigue and dust of the day, enjoying the refreshing feeling brought by the water flow, as if all his troubles had been blown away by the wind.
In a daze, Koki felt like a husband who had worked hard all day and was coming home, while his virtuous and gentle wife had already prepared a delicious meal and a bath for him.
"Hahaha." What am I thinking! He chuckled inwardly, unable to suppress his absurd imagination.
Koki quickened her shower, walked to the basket, picked up her pajamas, and changed into them.
"Huh?" Koki asked, puzzled.
He raised his sleeve and sniffed it carefully. There was no mistake, it was clearly the scent of... shower gel.
After changing her clothes, Koki vigorously shook the water droplets from her hair, casually dried it with a towel, and walked out of the bathroom.
As he passed through the living room, Koki smelled the aroma of food wafting out, and his stomach let out a disapproving growl.
He slowly stepped into the living room, and the scene before him immediately caught his eye.
Bathed in warm yellow light, his family sat around the dining table, surrounded by delicious food, and everyone's face was filled with relaxed and happy smiles.
Fugaku and Uncle Sakumo were chatting and laughing, both with relaxed expressions on their faces. They occasionally clinked glasses and drank together, seemingly discussing something important.
Mikoto sat next to Obito, with some rice and seaweed in front of them. Mikoto was teaching Obito how to make rice balls. Her movements were skillful and elegant. Obito watched intently, nodding occasionally and trying to imitate Mikoto's movements.
On the other side, Kakashi and Shisui sat facing each other, examining a scroll together and discussing Ninjutsu in hushed tones. Kakashi's eyes gleamed with excitement, while Shisui listened quietly, offering suggestions and nodding gently from time to time.
The scene was so heartwarming that Koki couldn't imagine their ending in the anime. He felt as if he were in a beautiful dream. Was all of this real? Had his arrival truly changed these people's fates? He couldn't believe it.
No matter what, he wanted to protect all of this.
The first person to spot Koki was Hatake Sakumo, who enthusiastically waved to the stunned boy. "Koki, what are you standing there for? Come here!"
The silver-haired youth's smile was like the rising sun, warm and dazzling, his hair shimmering in the dim light.
"Here you are." Uncle Sakumo's smile was so adorable, like that of a large dog—what was it? Like a Samoyed.
As expected of Kakashi's father, the smiles of the father and son were just as adorable, Koki thought to herself.
Seeing that everyone's eyes were focused on him, Koki quickly went forward and sat down next to Shisui.
What were you guys discussing just now?
Why didn't you dry your hair again?
The two asked each other the same question at the same time, then paused, looked at each other, and laughed.
"Kakashi-senpai and I are discussing a Ninjutsu. He's researched a Ninjutsu called Lightning Blade and wants to ask me how to unleash its greater power," Shisui spoke first.
