As the Scar carried the basket of flowers into the hall, she was immediately stopped by the head maids.

"You, yes, you. Put this basket of flowers on that long table on the east side. After that, bring out the fruit platter and put it on the guests' tables. The reception is about to start, so hurry up."

With her Scar in tow, she walked inside, numbly placing bunches of flowers one by one into the vase on the table.

While he was bending down to arrange the flowers, he flipped his finger and silently stuck a thin, almost invisible, bomb card under the table.

He straightened up, went over there, picked up a tray of cut fruit, and walked out when he bumped into someone.

The man was dressed in a dark robe, leaning on an ornate cane, and wearing gold-rimmed glasses; he looked exactly like a wealthy out-of-town businessman who had come to discuss business.

The Scar made it immediately clear who this guy was.

He narrowed his eyes, lowered his voice, and squeezed out through gritted teeth, "Christopher, what the hell makes you the one playing the businessman while I'm playing the maid?"

Christopher pushed up his glasses, a smirk playing on his lips, and said in a very low voice, "Isn't this to make it easier for you to move around? Besides, no one has noticed you yet."

"That's because I'm a good actress," Scar gritted his teeth. "Look at my legs, they're covered in marks from the socks. And look at my shoulders, my dress is about to burst."

Christopher's gaze swept over him, and he nodded sincerely. "Very dedicated. Thank you for your hard work."

The Scar wanted nothing more than to smash the fruit platter in his face.

Just as he was about to hurl another curse, footsteps approached, along with Luna's signature light and cheerful voice.

"Make way, make way."

Scar and Christopher turned their heads at the same time.

Phrolova walked in front.

She changed her clothes, wearing a black spaghetti strap dress that was so short it barely covered her upper thighs, and fishnet stockings with fine mesh extending from her ankles to the hem of the dress.

The neckline was extremely low, almost cutting straight down from below the shoulders, exposing large areas of collarbone and chest skin.

Her expression remained cold, but paired with her outfit, it exuded an indescribable allure beneath the coldness.

Christopher's gold-rimmed glasses nearly slipped off his nose.

His mouth was agape, his eyes behind his glasses were wide open, and he almost dropped his cane.

He had known Phrolova for years and had never seen her wear anything like this before.

Now she's dressed like someone going to a nightclub to cause a ruckus.

The Scar almost made him drop the fruit platter.

He stared at Phrolova for several seconds, his mouth agape for a long time, before finally uttering a very soft "Holy shit."

Phrolova walked past them expressionlessly, without glancing at them.

She had clearly given up completely, her face etched with a numb "destroy it all, whatever" attitude.

Luna followed behind her, tilting her head to examine Phrolova's back, touching her chin with an expression of an artist scrutinizing their work.

Suddenly, a brilliant idea struck her, and she pulled out a pair of fluffy fox ears from somewhere—white with pink inner ears.

"Wait, stop."

Phrolova stopped and turned around; there was no light left in his eyes.

Luna tiptoed and put the pair of fox ears on Phrolova's head.

She took two steps back, tilted her head to look left and right, and then nodded in satisfaction.

The pair of white fox ears perked up in Phrolova's black hair, creating a stark contrast with her icy expression.

"Such a seductive vixen will definitely scare away those wicked women who have designs on the young master." Luna clapped her hands, her smile as radiant as if she had just finished a work of art.

Phrolova reached out and touched the fox ears on his head, a crack finally appearing in his expression.

The Scar were completely unsettling.

He suddenly realized that compared to Phrolova, he wasn't so bad off after all.

Christopher finally regained his composure.

He leaned closer to the Scar and whispered, "The plan will proceed as scheduled. I have other arrangements for Phrolova."

The Scar remained silent.

He simply watched as Phrolova was pushed by Luna towards the ceremonial hall, her fox ears swaying gently on her head with each step.

He suddenly had a hunch that what was about to happen at this manor today might be even more outrageous than the script Christopher had written.

All parties have already set off.

Phoebe, the representative of the Order.

Cantarella, the head of the Fisalia Family, and Changli, who came with her.

Jinzhou, Jinhsi, and her subordinates Sanhua, Yangyang, and Baizhi.

Zhaoming Merchant Association, Suisui.

Septimont and three savages.

Also present were Professor Mornye from the Star Torch Academy and her students.

As Lynae and Sigrika walked into the hall together, they saw Mornye standing at the registration desk writing his name.

The two exchanged a glance, both seeing surprise in each other's eyes, and then moved closer.

"Professor Mornye, what brings you here?" Lynae's gaze swept over Mornye.

Today, Mornye wore a light gray long dress, with her crystal prosthetic leg peeking out from under the hem, looking much more formal than she usually did at the academy.

"I came by invitation." Mornye put down his pen, his tone calm.

"Invited?" Lynae frowned.

Sigrika, standing nearby, suddenly widened her eyes. "Wait a minute, you didn't receive his letter too, did you?"

Mornye paused for a moment.

She glanced at Lynae, then at Sigrika, and nodded calmly, taking out a letter.

They were intimately familiar with the material of the envelope, the pattern of the sealing wax, and the location of the creases.

Lynae and Sigrika both gasped simultaneously.

The two men stared at the letter, their expressions shifting from shock to anger, and from anger to gritted teeth.

"That bastard," Lynae cursed.

"Just how many people did he write letters to?" Sigrika couldn't help but join in the cursing.

Mornye looked at them, puzzled, and took the letter back. "Why are you all so angry?"

Lynae turned her head, looked at Mornye's face, which was full of academic composure, took a deep breath, and began to explain.

Mornye listened quietly, her expression unchanged.

Then she said something that stunned both Lynae and Sigrika.

Is there anything surprising about that?

"Professor Mornye, aren't you angry!? He wrote letters to so many people." Lynae's eyes widened.

Why be angry? Don't you think having a close friend by your side is a very happy thing?

Lynae and Sigrika looked at each other in bewilderment.

They initially thought Mornye was yet another victim kept in the dark, but when she found out, she remained completely unfazed, clearly having no intention of pursuing the matter.

"Are you really not angry, Professor Mornye?" Sigrika couldn't help but ask.

Mornye thought for a moment, "What kind of person he is has nothing to do with the value of those letters themselves."

Lynae opened her mouth, but for a moment she didn't know what to say.

She suddenly felt that compared to Mornye, her anger seemed particularly childish.

But she quickly adjusted her mindset and suppressed this insignificant feeling of shame.

"No way." Lynae turned to Sigrika, her eyes sharpening. "Professor Mornye is good-natured and doesn't hold grudges, but I am. This bastard deserves an explanation today."

Sigrika nodded, her expression turning serious. "Yes, we can't let this go. I was so innocent and kind, and he just stole my first kiss like that! He's so mean! He's such a jerk!"

Lynae looked around to make sure no one from the Montelli Family was nearby, then leaned close to Sigrika's ear and chuckled:

"Hia~hia~hia~"

"Sigrika, I have a plan!"

Sigrika leaned closer to listen.

"Lynae, what are your plans?"

Lynae spoke very quickly, occasionally gesturing with her fingers.

Sigrika's expression shifted from confusion to surprise, from surprise to hesitation, and from hesitation to a complex look that seemed to say, "Are you sure this will work?"

"Are you sure?" Sigrika asked softly.

"Of course I'm sure." Lynae patted her shoulder, a smile curving her lips. "Today is his birthday party, with so many guests. He can't just kick us out in front of everyone, can he? If we make a big scene, he'll have to give us an explanation. Otherwise, I'll tell everyone about her forcibly kissing you, and make him lose face."

Sigrika gasped in surprise upon hearing this.

"Huh?! But isn't it me who's the one who's embarrassed?"

"Really? Oh well, whatever, he'll definitely pay the price."

Sigrika was silent for two seconds, then slowly nodded.

"Okay. I'll work for you."

Lynae smiled with satisfaction.

"Let's go in and take him down!"

"Yes, let's get him!" Sigrika chimed in.

"Hey, wait a minute."

Mornye called them back from their excited state. Her face had lost its composure, and even her voice trembled slightly.

"You just said that he forcibly kissed Sigrika?"
