Medical clinic.

After having eaten and drunk their fill, Xiao Ling and his group followed Zani's directions and arrived here.

"The infirmary... If we're talking about the most likely acquaintances you'll run into there, besides Doctor Lu, it's only Miss Nana." Aemeath's speculation was reasonable and well-founded.

"That's true, after all, she was in charge of the initial diagnosis and care of patients back at the Spacetrek Academy." Xiao Ling agreed with this view, and extended it to another possibility, "However, I think it's not impossible for Sister Kan to be involved."

"Miss Cantarella?" Yangyang pondered for a moment before nodding. "I heard Cartethyia mention it before. During your battle at Lament, the soldiers who participated greatly reduced casualties thanks to the special medicine provided by the Fell Family. She is indeed very suitable to treat the wounded and save lives in the infirmary because she can prescribe the right medicine."

"Saving lives wouldn't be the answer... We college students may be a bit fragile, but our vitality is comparable to that of the Guangdong twins." Xiao Ling couldn't help but chuckle. "Besides, Sister Kan's medicine... how should I put it, it has some side effects."

Having personally experienced the power of Sister Kan's special medicine, Hajiling knows better than anyone that her medicine is based on an equal exchange: you enjoy the effects of the medicine, but you always have to suffer some pain, right?

"Let's go in and take a look. It's better to see it for ourselves than to speculate outside."

At Xiao Ling's command, everyone followed him and filed into the infirmary.

"Mmm~ It smells so good!" Suisui said with some surprise. "I thought this infirmary would smell like disinfectant and medicine everywhere."

"There's a doctor in this clinic who really loves plants; I wonder if she's in today," Xiao Ling explained.

There weren't many people in the infirmary; only a few students in military training uniforms were slumped in their chairs, resting with ice packs on their heads.

"What a pitiful child..." Xiao Ling felt a pang of inexplicable heartache.

"Is it heatstroke?" Aemeath asked, puzzled. "They look so uncomfortable."

"Yes, they've got heatstroke." Xiao Ling lowered her voice so as not to disturb their rest. "Ugh, this dreaded military training."

"Military training?" Yangyang frowned. "But they're just a group of students!"

"Military training is just a common name; the official name is National Defense and Security Education," Xiao Ling said helplessly. "But in reality, most military training serves no purpose other than making freshmen stand under the scorching sun of over 30 degrees Celsius for half a month to 'dry them out' and 'make them delicious and fresh.'"

"Pfft... cough cough." Lynae couldn't help but laugh, but then realized it seemed a bit unethical and immediately stopped.

After all, according to Xiao Ling's statement, he himself was one of the participants in the military training, so it was a bit inappropriate for him to gloat over his own man's misfortune, although Hajiling himself wouldn't mind.

"So A-Yu, you weren't like this during your military training, were you?" Aemeath began to press Xiao Ling about his experience during military training.

"My situation was much better than that. The only time I had to take leave due to heatstroke was when the instructors made us do tactical drills in over 30-degree weather wearing long sleeves." Xiao Ling revealed an expression of displeasure at the past. "I consider myself quite resilient, but I really couldn't hold on back then."

"It's okay, at least I think the driver has tried his best. Here, let me pat his head."

Heartfox is a very shrewd woman; she knows how to flirt whenever she can. If Hajiling hadn't been a seasoned pro, she probably would have been seduced on the spot.

"I'm fine." Xiao Ling smiled helplessly. "Let's go inside and see if we know anyone."

Inside the treatment room.

A girl with long pink hair is disinfecting medical instruments used for wound cleaning every day. Although she won't need them for a while, it's always good to be prepared.

Just then, the door creaked open a crack, and the pink-haired girl, noticing someone visiting, immediately turned to look at the newcomer.

"Long time no see, everyone." A girl's voice with a static tone rang out, and the girl in front of them—no, it should be said that she was a cyborg female robot—greeted Xiao Ling and his group.

"Little Ai, you guessed quite accurately." After praising Little Ai, Xiao Ling immediately returned the same greeting, "It's me, long time no see, Miss Nana."

Nana smiled and nodded, then asked directly, "So, did you all make a special trip to the infirmary today because you're not feeling well?"

"No, I just wanted to come and see," Xiao Ling said, indicating that she was perfectly fine.

"That's good. Maintaining good health is the most important thing," Miss Nana said seriously. "If you ever have any health problems, remember to come to the infirmary anytime, okay?"

"Of course," Xiao Ling nodded in agreement.

After saying goodbye to NANA, Xiao Ling and his group had just stepped out of the treatment room when he, the leader, spotted another familiar figure.

The girl who came into Xiao Ling's view was wearing a light purple short-sleeved shirt and a pure white knee-length pleated skirt, which added to her girlish charm.

Hearing the noise behind her, the girl who was checking on the patient's recovery turned around, her pale purple eyes meeting Xiao Ling's.

"Should I say 'Long time no see' now?" she asked with a smile.

"It's been a long time." Xiao Ling nodded. "Miss Rosemary."

"The head of the Cantarella family just went out, and I stayed here to look after the patient." Rosemary instinctively assumed that Xiao Ling had come to see Cantarella, and immediately explained, "If you need to speak with her, please wait a moment."

"No need for that, I just came to see you." Xiao Ling said casually with a smile.

(Hey, Hajiling, you seem to have casually said something quite surprising?)

So the girls around Xiao Ling all glared at this sinful man with deadly eyes.

After all, those words are really easy to misinterpret.

As expected, as soon as Xiao Ling finished speaking, two blushes quickly spread across Miss Rosemary's face, and she shyly looked away.

"It's nothing, I'm fine, thank you for your concern..." She used a soft tone to hide her suppressed shyness, making her voice sound more natural, "Um, what should I call you now?"

"Hmm... just call me Xiao Ling," Hajiling said with a smile. "Alright, we won't linger here any longer; the patient needs some peace and quiet."

"Well, everyone, take care and stay healthy," Rosemary said with a smile to the group.

After saying goodbye to the member of the Fell Clan, Xiao Ling and the others left the infirmary and headed to their next destination.

Rosemary watched them leave, and couldn't help but mutter Hajiling's name again.

"Xiao Ling... Xiao Ling... Yes! Got it!"
