Sports Festival and School Festival (1)
Shooting booth.
Sigrika was intently aiming her toy gun at the balloon in front of her.
After taking a few deep breaths, she slowly gripped the trigger of the toy gun and then pulled it down sharply.
With a "bang," the bullet successfully struck the doll... the wall next to it.
"Goo--" Sigrika made a cute, strange sound in annoyance.
She had originally planned to make a few dolls for her parents by hand, and also give one to Yaya and the two seniors, but after twenty bullets, she only managed to make one small doll.
She looked up at the Winnie the Pooh doll, which was about half her height, with a somewhat gloomy expression on her face.
"Would you like to try again?" Xixi's mother encouraged in a gentle voice.
"Hmm..." Sigrika looked at the soft Peroro doll in her hand, somewhat hesitant.
Xixi's father was a very practical man of action. Seeing that Sigrika was hesitant, he took the initiative to spend money to buy twenty more bullets from the stall owner.
"Try again, Sigrika, you can do it!" He patted Sigrika's shoulder twice with some force to encourage her.
Seeing the twenty extra bullets in her hand and her father's encouraging smile, Sigrika nodded with a determined smile, then raised her gun, aimed at the target, and fired!
"We still couldn't take it down..." Sigrika looked regretfully at the bear doll that remained motionless high up.
Forty bullets took down five dolls: two Riling dolls, one Peroro doll, and two Sigrika dumplings.
As for the Winnie the Pooh up there, Sigrika managed to hit it twice, but it didn't budge.
Well, let's wait until later and then settle things with it.
"Let's go, let's explore other places!"
Sigrika was about to move her parents to another location when she turned around and bumped into Aemeath who were walking towards her.
"A-Yu, A-Piao, look! There's a shooting range over there! It looks like so much fun—hey! Xixi, you're here too!"
Aemeath saw Sigrika, she suddenly quickened her pace and, pulling Xiao Ling and the Rover along, brought them to Sigrika's family.
"Hey~ These two people next to you must be your family! Hello, uncle and aunt, I'm Aemeath! I'm Sigrika's friend!"
"I recognize you, Aemeath, or rather... Wooly," Xixi's mother nodded gently. "Sigrika really likes your singing; she sometimes hums a little bit of it in front of me."
"Mom!" Sigrika cried out, her cheeks flushed, after her little secret was exposed.
"That's my honor~ After all, those songs were written and sung on a whim, and I never thought I'd have so many fans~" Aemeath scratched her head shyly.
"Isn't this a good thing?" The Rover smiled and patted Little Ai's head.
"Hehe~" Aemeath chuckled softly, clearly enjoying herself.
"By the way, did you guys try the shooting game at the shooting booth? How difficult was it?" Xiao Ling asked Sigrika about her experience at the shooting booth.
"Forty bullets and only five dolls down, that's a bit difficult for me, isn't it? It's a pity, I was hoping to shoot down a bear doll for Yaya," Sigrika, a little disappointed.
"That's too difficult? Let's go then, I'll take you to redeem yourself!"
Xiao Ling strode confidently toward the shooting booth.
"Is that alright, Senior Xiao Ling? Wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?" Sigrika asked with some concern.
"Oh, don't worry~ A-Yu loves doing this kind of thing! Let's go, let's go!" Aemeath grabbed Sigrika and headed towards the shooting booth without further ado.
The Rover left behind and Sigrika's parents exchanged a glance, gave each other a helpless smile, and then followed them.
"Boss," Xiao Ling tapped the table twice, "How much for one session?"
"Fifty dollars for twenty bullets, clearly marked price, fair and honest."
"No wonder you don't get many customers here," Xiao Ling added mercilessly. "They've all been swept away."
The person in charge of the stall glared at him resentfully, but still obediently handed the bullets to him.
"No cheating, right?" Xiao Ling asked the stall manager, weighing the bullets in his hand.
"No cheating."
"Then tell me, do Dragon Country not lie to Dragon Country?"
Is it necessary?
"Are you going to tell me or not?"
Dragon Country don't lie to Dragon Country.
"That's more like it." Xiao Ling chuckled twice.
Then, he began inspecting the toy guns. His movements were so quick and his posture so precise that the stall owner's heart couldn't help but pound in his chest.
Oh no, could this guy be a master?!
"Senior, are you alright?" Sigrika asked with concern.
"You want to give that Winnie the Pooh to Yaya, right? Wait, I'll shoot it down for you."
Raise the gun, load it, aim, and fire.
With a "bang," the bullet gracefully traced a straight line and struck the Winnie the Pooh doll... the wall beside it.
Immediately afterwards, the next four shots all grazed past the doll.
The stall owner, who had been on edge, finally breathed a sigh of relief. He had thought this guy was quite the player, but it turned out he was just putting on a show.
"Looks like someone's about to get their face slapped," the Rover smirked, egging on the situation.
"Rover, wanna gamble?" Xiao Ling smiled. "If I shoot that bear doll down with my next five shots, you'll let me kiss you."
"Oh?" The Rover became interested. "Alright, I'll bet you. If you can't shoot it down in five shots, you can forget about being with Little Ai for the entire celebration."
"A-Piao!" Aemeath pouted in dissatisfaction, "This is too much!"
"Where is it excessive?" the Rover asked with a mischievous smile. "Or are you just hoping he'll take advantage of you?"
Little Ai, whose secret had been exposed, was speechless for a moment and could only nervously poke her finger.
"Wow, you're putting pressure on me." Xiao Ling was quite surprised, but her tone was full of confidence. "Too bad, I happen to be someone who thrives on pressure."
Just you wait and see!
Raise your gun, load it, aim, and fire!
Bang bang bang bang bang!
Five bullets, not one more and not one less, all hit Winnie the Pooh's head precisely. With the final shot, Winnie the Pooh fell from the shelf.
Upon seeing this scene, the stall owner nearly dropped his phone.
Dude, are you trying to pull a fast one on me?!
Seeing the stall owner's shocked and bewildered expression, Xiao Ling simply made a shushing gesture.
(A second!)
"Here, take this." Xiao Ling took the Winnie the Pooh and stuffed it into Sigrika's arms.
"You're amazing, senior!" Sigrika happily, rubbing her cheek against the Winnie the Pooh bear.
"It's alright~" Xiao Ling laughed heartily, "By the way, Rover, about the bet earlier..."
A blush suddenly crept onto the Rover's face.
Oh no, this guy tricked me...
However, a promise is a promise, and since he was the one who agreed to the bet, he had no choice but to...
"Come on! I'm willing to accept the loss!"
The Rover closed his eyes, his eyelashes trembling slightly, and the rosy blush on his cheeks became increasingly pronounced.
One second passed... two seconds passed... ten seconds passed...
That's strange, why hasn't Hajiling made a move yet?
Just as the Rover was thinking this, he suddenly felt his hand being lifted up and kissed lightly, like a dragonfly skimming the water.
The Rover opened her eyes in a daze and found Xiao Ling looking at her with a mischievous smile.
"Is this... all you need?"
"Hmm, what else do you want? You don't actually want me to kiss you, do you?"
Just kidding, if Hajiling dares to bite A-Piao now, Little Ai might just take him tonight.
The Rover gritted his teeth in resentment at Xiao Ling's wretched appearance.
Okay, okay, Hajiling, I really need to control you!
