The Golden Sacred Dragon Appeared Again
Gaa gaa--
Ghost Douluo and the little devil on his back turned their heads at the same time, their two empty eyes locking onto Tang San.
Ghost Douluo's voice was hoarse and shrill, echoing through the canyon. "You must have something to do with Tang Hao! Die!" He shook his arms, his Eighth Soul Ring lit up, and countless twisted ghost shadows surged out wildly, overwhelming the Shrek Academy group.
The eighth Soul Skill, the Ghosts and Monsters!
Dugu Bo was about to make a move when countless yellow chrysanthemum petals surged from all directions, trapping him in a sea of flowers.
Chrysanthemum Douluo tilted his head and asked softly, "Little Poison Poison, what are you going to do?"
Three voices suddenly rang out in the valley.
"The Sun and Moon Radiance, Golden Transformation!"
A burst of golden light erupted. A Golden Sacred Dragon, thirty meters long, soared into the sky, its wings spread, illuminating the entire canyon as if it were daytime.
Pure light poured down from the dragon's body. The Ghosts and Monsters of Ghost Douluo, upon contact with the golden light, reacted like ice and snow meeting fire, emitting a piercing hissing sound. Countless ghostly figures twisted and turned into wisps of smoke.
The Gui Mei and the imp on its back screamed simultaneously, their two voices overlapping, shrill and piercing. "Gaaaaaah--Aaaaah--How awful that light is!"
Within the three-person formation, Flender exclaimed with undisguised delight, "Xiaogang, Luo Sanpao is really strong at Level 40! I feel like I have inexhaustible energy!"
Liu Erlong's voice followed closely, equally excited, "I feel that the three of us are now at least level 92."
The Grandmaster's voice remained calm and steady. "Thanks to the Dragon Blood Grass that Little San and the others brought back, Luo Sanpao's mutation is being repaired, and he's even evolving."
Ghost Douluo dared not be negligent. He scrambled into the ground, the little ghost on his back curling up tightly, desperately trying to hide its aura and avoid the omnipresent golden light.
Chrysanthemum Douluo stood in the sea of flowers, his brows slightly furrowed. Sensing the intense, almost unsettling, light aura, he muttered softly, "Oh dear, how can it be so strong? It's almost completely suppressing Little Mei Mei."
Dugu Bo stood with his hands behind his back, looking at the Golden Sacred Dragon circling in the sky. He was secretly surprised – it was much stronger than when they fought in Sunset Forest. He was afraid he couldn't beat it in his current state.
Moreover, the light attribute is even more effective at suppressing Gui Mei than his Jade Phosphorous Serpent Poison.
The three Grandmaster stepped forward. The Golden Sacred Dragon circled low in the air, its head pointing downwards, ready to attack again at any moment. Flender lowered his voice. "Xiaogang, should we take this opportunity to leave those two here?"
The Grandmaster paused for two seconds, his gaze sweeping between Chrysanthemum Douluo in the distance and Ghost Douluo underground, before shaking his head. "It's still unclear whether they have any other trump cards. Besides, the children are all here; it's not advisable to fight to the death."
Chrysanthemum Douluo raced. Facing them was a Golden Sacred Dragon whose attributes completely countered Gui Mei, plus Dugu Bo, a Titled Douluo.
Even if they fought with all their might, the two of them would probably pay a heavy price. He gathered up the chrysanthemum petals scattered everywhere, and his tone suddenly became relaxed, as if nothing had happened. "Oh dear, you guys are bullying me, I can't beat you. Little Mei Mei, shall we go?"
Upon hearing this, Dugu Bo immediately laughed, his voice full of sarcasm. "Chrysanthemum Guan, what's wrong? Aren't you afraid of the Pope's punishment now? And Gui Mei, weren't you going to get revenge for being chased and beaten by Clear Sky Douluo back then? How come you're scared out of your wits now? Will you seek revenge for today's humiliation later?"
"Oh, Little Poison Poison!" Chrysanthemum Douluo gave him a reproachful look.
A Ghost Douluo voice echoed from underground, "Bastard!"
The kid behind him added, "But it was really scary back then!"
The Grandmaster raised his hand, looked at Chrysanthemum Douluo, and said in a calm but undeniable voice, "You may leave. But only this once."
Chrysanthemum Douluo was slightly taken aback, then smiled broadly, "Oh? Then thank you, little... thank you, Little Gang Gang."
He flashed to the spot where Ghost Douluo had burrowed underground, reached out and pulled him out of the ground. The two stood side by side, their bodies shimmering with light. A moment later, they transformed into two beams of light, one purple and one yellow, which intertwined and flew into the distance, disappearing into the horizon in the blink of an eye.
The remaining men in black lost their leader, the situation collapsed instantly, and they all turned and ran.
Liu Erlong snorted coldly, "Still trying to run?" The Golden Sacred Dragon dragon opened its mouth, and a scorching golden dragon breath swept across. Wherever the beam of light passed, the screams of the men in black joined together, and then fell silent.
The Shrek family stood in the valley and watched the entire spectacle unfold.
Dai Mubai let out a long breath, squeezing out a single word through gritted teeth. "Awesome." Ma Hongjun smacked his lips, watching Liu Erlong emerge from her Golden Sacred Dragon state, and sighed, "Teacher Erlong is still as ruthless as ever."
Oscar turned to Wang Xingyu and asked in a low voice, "By the way, why didn't the Dean and the others keep those two Titled Douluo here? Didn't you say that Sect Master Ning might be here too?"
Wang Xingyu gave him a speechless look. "So are you still going to participate in the Soul Master Tournament? You took down two Titled Douluo, and you still want their Soul Bone reward?"
Oscar scratched his head, as if that was indeed the case.
After dealing with the group of men in black, the caravan regrouped. The guards tallied the casualties; fortunately, the losses were minor. After thanking Shrek, everyone returned to the carriages, and the wheels once again rolled over the gravel, continuing their journey towards Spirit City.
Three figures stood high in the sky not far away.
Sword Douluo Chen Xin stood with his hands behind his back, his white hair fluttering slightly in the wind, a smile playing on his lips, "Fengzhi, I didn't expect Shrek Academy to be even stronger than we imagined. I thought we were going to have to make a move today."
Ning Fengzhi looked down at the caravan of carriages that had resumed their journey and nodded slightly.
Behind him Bone Douluo Gu Rong, stood with his arms crossed and smiled, saying, "Indeed, I was thinking of going down to praise Yue Guan for looking even more handsome."
Ning Fengzhi withdrew his gaze, turned to the two, and said, "Let's go, Uncle Jian, Uncle Gu."
Behind a bend not far from the canyon, Dragon Duke Meng Shu and Snake Granny Chao Tianxiang stood side by side, having witnessed the entire clash between Titled Douluo- level opponents.
A hint of amazement appeared on Dragon Duke's aged face as he slowly stroked his beard. "Luckily, we didn't have a major conflict with them back in the Star Dou Great Forest. These guys, it hasn't been long, but their strength has already grown so much."
The Snake Granny, leaning on her Serpent Cane, said with a hint of regret, "I was hoping to do them a favor, but it seems they don't need it."
