Background / History
Jiang Wan is the true daughter of the Myriad Talisman Sect Leader. At three and a half years old, she was brought back to the sect, where Jiang Yao—the false daughter—feared losing affection, resources, and senior brothers to her. Madam Li stole Jiang Wan’s Soul Nurturing Jade, and Jiang Wan struck her head during the incident, triggering the Villain Whitewashing System 1.
The System revealed the trajectory of Jiang Wan’s previous life: after being pushed into a Demon Den and forced to cultivate demonic arts, she became the Supreme Heavenly Demon, slaughtered the Three Realms, and was targeted for destruction by the Heavenly Dao at five hundred years old. The System’s purpose is to help her accumulate merit and change that fate 1.
Her first Whitewashing Mission required her to restore her relationship with Liuhuo Immortal Venerable, the senior brother she had mutilated in her previous life. Completing the mission granted her a Chaos Lightning Spiritual Root 1.
Soon afterward, Jiang Wan formed a Spirit Beast Contract with the last trace of the Black Tortoise bloodline and obtained the Great Dao Sword Intent. She also completed Qi Induction and began rebuilding her place within her father’s sect 3.
Venerable Yu Yi later accepted her as his disciple and publicly announced the apprenticeship, making Jiang Wan a recognized direct disciple of a Spirit Transmutation Venerable 25.
Appearance
Jiang Wan is initially a small three-and-a-half-year-old girl with little hands and a childlike build. She is often underestimated because of her appearance, even when facing cultivators far older than herself 1 240.
- Frequently wears the fiery-red Vermilion Bird Battle Armor in combat 83 400.
- Uses purple-gold Wind Thunder Wings for high-speed movement 279.
- Her battle equipment automatically adjusts to her body size 400.
- Is still treated as a child by many cultivators despite reaching Golden Core and later Nascent Soul cultivation at an exceptional age 282 371.
Personality
Jiang Wan is fiercely independent and rejects the notion that destiny should govern her. When identified as the Child of Destiny, she refused the title and insisted on directing her own future 117 118.
She is protective of people she considers her own. She risked her life to purge Chuzhou’s fire poison, aided victims of demonic cultivators, and repeatedly intervened when friends or sect disciples were threatened 14 117 393.
Her confidence is paired with a mischievous, blunt manner. She taunts stronger opponents, bargains for compensation after injuries, loots defeated enemies as a matter of course, and is unusually frank about wanting spirit stones and useful treasures 31 95 282.
Jiang Wan also has a practical streak. She will avoid fights she considers unnecessary, but when challenged or robbed, she prefers to settle matters directly rather than endure humiliation 231 242.
