Yan Zu builds the Dawn Project, deepens his bonds with Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong, and brings the group to Shrek Academy. After passing Zhao Wuji’s test, he challenges Shrek’s approach to strength and joins Oscar and Ning Rongrong in their assigned training.

• Yan Zu helped the students compete at the Great Soul Arena, advised Zhu Zhuqing after her first loss, and developed a Glazed Tile Resonance with Ning Rongrong.
• Yan Zu rejected Yu Xiaogang’s offer to become his disciple and moved into Ning Rongrong’s furnished dormitory with Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing.

• Yan Zu brought the Dawn Team to Blue Tyrant Academy, where Liu Erlong tested them in battle and welcomed them as core students.
• Yan Zu challenged Liu Erlong to reconsider her devotion to Yu Xiaogang, and she withdrew from the academy while Tai Long and Tai Nuo confronted Xiao Wu and Yan Zu.
• Liu Erlong protected Yan Zu and Xiao Wu from Tai Tan, was badly injured, and accepted Yan Zu as her disciple after he helped her sever her ties with Yu Xiaogang.
