Carlos begins as an ambitious Mafia figure on Iron Island. Learning that Patriarch Mike possesses a Devil Fruit, he infiltrates the Mike Family estate, eliminates guards for information, and pursues the fruit despite the danger. After eating it, he uses the Eye of the Devil's Sharingan and Byakugan abilities to kill Mike Moxie and begin climbing the Mafia hierarchy. 3 5

He consolidates his position through calculated massacres.
