Background / History

Naruto becomes the vessel of the Nine-Tails after the Fourth Hokage seals the beast during the Nine-Tails' Rampage. His parents' identities remain a painful unknown to him for much of his life. 2 42

When Hyuga Kei meets Team 7 at Ichiraku Ramen, he reveals that he knows Naruto's parents but refuses to tell Naruto more despite Naruto's pleas. Naruto is also excited to meet Karin Uzumaki because they share the Uzumaki surname. 42

Naruto declares his dream to become Hokage and the world's greatest ninja, hoping to revive his parents. Hyuga Kei later gives him a scroll containing the Uzumaki Clan's Adamantine Sealing Chains. 48
