Background / History

Xiao Lin was formerly the Patriarch of the Xiao Family. Before suffering grave injuries, his Dou King strength enabled the family to survive in the Jia Ma Empire’s Imperial Capital. The weakened family later declined to Wutan City, where it became one of the city’s three major families. 1

He spent twelve years in a state of living death, sealed in ice. Upon awakening, he obtained the Family System, which grants him cultivation feedback when Xiao Clan members cultivate. He designated Xiao Yan as his Selected Clan Member, enabling especially valuable rewards whenever Xiao Yan broke through. 1 4

Xiao Lin publicly returned during the Misty Cloud Sect’s attempt to dissolve Nalan Yanran and Xiao Yan’s engagement. He revealed that his death had been faked, drove Ge Ye and the sect delegation from the Xiao Family, and restored the clan’s confidence. 3
