Background

Lin Dong was born into the Lin Family, a branch expelled from the Lin Clan's inner family after his grandfather, Lin Zhentian, failed a mission. His father, Lin Xiao, later had his cultivation destroyed by Lin Langtian during the Lin Clan's decennial gathering. Witnessing his father's defeat and his family's decline gave Lin Dong an enduring determination to avenge him. 193
