Background / History

Luo Bei began as a young beggar who sought discipleship under Yuan Tianyi. Despite being warned that cultivation required immense suffering, he persisted through Luofu's entrance trial and became Yuan Tianyi's disciple. Yuan Tianyi's teachings gave him a path to control his own destiny, and Luo Bei regarded Luofu as his home. 5 16 82

After undergoing Rebirth and Metamorphosis, Luo Bei received the Eternal Life Sutra of Delusion from Yuan Tianyi and was sent into the world for training. He later cultivated at Shushan, where his slow progress in the Great Dao Direct Pointing Cui Xu Art earned him ridicule and menial assignments despite his exceptional innate aptitude. 15 55 56

Luo Bei's decision to protect Xiao Cha and Little Wu Qiu from Shushan's judgment led him to flee the sect. He deliberately drew pursuing disciples away from Xiao Cha, accepting the risk of capture so that she could escape. 85
