Background / History

Pangu originated in the Primordial Great World as the last direct descendant of the Pangu Clan, a prominent lineage of the Creation Heavenly Sect. The clan was born with Innate Dao Bodies, excelled in the Law of Creation, and possessed the Jade Plate of Creation as its ancestor's natal supreme treasure. After the Pangu Clan Ancestor perished during turmoil in the Primordial Great World, Pangu was sealed within the Chaos World and later reborn there. 428

The Chaos World itself was created by Pangu's ancestor and hidden to protect the Jade Plate of Creation. Pangu ultimately sought to split Chaos both to fulfill his mission and to create a path forward for himself, despite the risks involved. 428 429

In Chaos, Pangu was nurtured by the Chaos Green Lotus and became the strongest of the Three Thousand Chaos Demon Gods. His mastery of the Law of Strength, combined with the Pangu Axe and Jade Plate of Creation, allowed him to surpass the other Demon Gods and approach the Great Dao Realm. 48 300 470

When he opened Heaven and Earth, Pangu was unable to fully break Chaos. He instead created the Primordial World within it, supporting the new Heaven and Earth with his body until he perished. His body transformed into the world's natural features. 5

Pangu had prepared for failure by dividing aspects of himself: he reincarnated as Fuxi and Nuwa, left behind Pangu Temple and the Twelve Ancestral Witches, and separated part of his Primordial Spirit to form the Three Pure Ones.
