History

Creation

When Pangu could no longer break through Chaos, he created a new realm within it. Clear energy rose to become Heaven, turbid energy sank to become Earth, and the resulting world became the Primordial World 5.

Pangu cast the flesh and blood of fallen Chaos Demon Gods into the new world to enrich its barren foundation. The Thirty-Six-Grade Chaos Green Lotus, Pangu Axe, and Jade Plate of Creation were also shattered or transformed during the process 5.

Unable to keep Heaven and Earth apart, Pangu used his own body as their support until his strength was exhausted. His spine became Buzhou Mountain, his eyes became the sun and moon, his blood became rivers, his flesh became soil, and his hair became vegetation 5.

Pangu's Heart became the Pangu Temple, while his last twelve drops of Essence Blood gestated there. His Primordial Spirit split into three streams and dispersed throughout Heaven and Earth 5.

Early Era

The world initially lacked living beings, but it contained abundant treasures and the remains of the Three Thousand Demon Gods. Surviving Demon God true spirits entered the Primordial World to reincarnate through their remaining flesh and blood 5 6.

The resentment and killing intent left by the Creation Tribulation later fused with Demon God remains, creating fierce beasts that threatened the newly formed world 6.

As the era progressed, innate beings emerged across its regions, including Old Ancestor Minghe in the Netherworld Blood Sea, Kunpeng in the Northern Sea, Queen Mother of the West on Kunlun Mountain, East Prince on an overseas immortal island, and Zhenyuanzi beneath the Ginseng Fruit Tree 20.

Hongjun's Control and Pangu's Return

Pangu's intended order placed the Heavenly Dao, Earthly Dao, and Human Dao on equal footing. Hongjun, after taking control of the Heavenly Dao, sought to erase Pangu's influence and suppress the Earthly and Human Daos so that the Heavenly Dao alone would rule 96.

After Hongjun's fall, Pangu awakened and merged with the Heavenly Dao Origin, expelling Hongjun's influence and stabilizing the world. This also returned Primordial Spirits previously entrusted to the Heavenly Dao Origin 422.

Pangu subsequently led the world's ascension. Buzhou Mountain rose again, mountains and rivers expanded, secret realms formed, and the world's spiritual energy surged dramatically 424.

External Wars and Growth

The Hunyuan World repeatedly invaded the Primordial World's vicinity, treating it as a resource-rich secret realm. Its forces included Hunyuan Taiji Grand Unity Golden Immortals, Hunyuan Grand Unity Golden Immortals, and numerous Hunyuan Golden Immortals 473.

Li Xinghe and the world's defenders used fallen invaders to nourish the Primordial World. This increased its size, strengthened its nascent Great Dao, and accelerated breakthroughs among its inhabitants 477 544.

The world's growing potential attracted the Destruction Demon Sect, Five Elements Dao Sect, Blade Sect, Sword Sect, Creation Heavenly Sect, and other outside forces seeking the Jade Plate of Creation or control of the world itself 512 516 523.

Structure and Geography

• Buzhou Mountain — Formed from Pangu's spine; supports Heaven and Earth and serves as the world's central treasure-rich region. The Pangu Temple lies deep within it 5 23.
• Sun and Moon — Formed from Pangu's left and right eyes, respectively 5.
• Rivers, soil, and vegetation — Formed from Pangu's blood, flesh, hair, and fur 5.
• Netherworld Blood Sea — A forbidden region conceived where Demon Gods fell and fierce-beast blood accumulated; even Grand Unity Golden Immortals normally remain at its outskirts 20 107.
• Western World — Originally prosperous, but devastated after Luohu detonated its earth veins during the Dao-Demon Conflict 449.
• Secret realms and immortal islands — Increased in number and scale following the world's promotion, including enlarged mountain ranges, revived dragon veins, and newly formed islands 424.

Rules and World Functions

Nascent Great Dao

Following its promotion, the world no longer operated through separate Heavenly, Earthly, and Human Dao authorities in the former sense. It instead possessed a nascent Great Dao, though this authority was initially weak and incomplete 427 485.

• The nascent Great Dao provides the foundation of a Middle Thousand World 485.
• It was initially too weak to meaningfully repair the Jade Plate of Creation; consuming it would have risked downgrading the world 485.
• Its complete Great Dao Rules formed only after the world's later transformation 649.

Reincarnation

The Primordial World draws fallen beings into the Six Paths of Reincarnation, allowing them to be reborn rather than remain dead indefinitely 477.

Empowerment of Inhabitants

The world grants its defenders an advantage near its outer periphery. During the Hunyuan World invasion, this home-field enhancement strengthened Primordial World combatants while their enemies were disadvantaged 477.

The influx of spiritual energy following the world's advancement allowed numerous inhabitants—including the Twelve Ancestral Witches—to rapidly improve their cultivation 424 544.

World Lord Authority

Li Xinghe became the master of the Primordial World and controlled its nascent Great Dao. Within the world, this authority allowed him to wield combat power comparable to a Hunyuan Wuji Grand Unity Golden Immortal 427.

By the time the nascent Great Dao neared completion, Li Xinghe could move peak Hunyuan Wuji Grand Unity Golden Immortals into its depths without giving them an opportunity to resist 617.
