Background / History

Hongmeng, who came from the Eternal World and had reached the Eternal Realm, created the Primordial World after falling into the Void during his war against the Outer-Domain Evil Spirits. He used Eternal Mountain—an indestructible object surpassing a Primordial Supreme Treasure—as the world's foundation, ultimately suppressing the evil spirits there 944.

The world's origin predates known records. Even the Jade Plate of Creation cannot identify its creator, and it has seemingly existed since the dawn of time 683. Its status as the only recognized Greater Thousand World led many to believe that all Lesser and Middle Thousand Worlds depended upon it 683.

In its early eras, the native Yao Race ruled the world. Humans and other beings later ascended from lower worlds, gradually establishing sects and territories in the Primordial Star Sea; humanity eventually gained enough power to contend with the Yao Race 656 684 740.
