"Who... who is Ai... Ailin?"

Everyone turned to look at the witcher who had spoken, as if they were looking at some ancient relic detached from the world.

The perfectly synchronized movements sobered up the "old-fashioned" man considerably, and he weakly asked:

"W-what's wrong? Is Ailin famous?"

No sooner had he finished speaking than a Witcher stationed in Kaer Morhen began to give him a rundown of the "common knowledge" about the Ancient Sea Fortress.

"The Witcher Apprentice of the Crimson Fox", "The Drowner Killer of the Ancient Sea Fortress", "The King of Ice Slayer", and "Witcher Master in Preparation" are some of the titles.

"Etc!"

"Ailin is still a Witcher apprentice?"

"Old antique" grasped the key word and asked with some disbelief.

The white-haired Witcher Master smiled and said:

"Ailin passed the Trial of the Mountains today and is now a full-fledged Witcher of the School of the Wolf."

"Huh? So he really did all that during his apprenticeship?"

The "old relic" couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

"To be precise, this is all that was done in one month..."

The witcher stationed in Kaer Morhen paused, glanced at the chief, then at the monster corpse that stood out starkly in the hall, and sighed:

"And it seems he did something even more remarkable."

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone saw the chief nod, acknowledging his words.

then.

Another silence descended upon the castle hall.

Even the Witcher who knew Ailin well couldn't help but feel a little disappointed and frustrated.

"Etc!"

"So, this apprentice named Ailin has just passed the trial and is about to become Witcher Master?"

The "old-fashioned" one has once again grasped the key point.

This time, the chief did not nod in approval immediately. Instead, he looked at the other Witcher Master and, finding no objections from them, nodded in agreement once more.

"Yes, in the next few days, we will confer the title of Witcher Master on Ailin and send official notification letters to the other schools."

"Whoosh!"

After a moment of silence, the main hall of the castle suddenly erupted into a clamor, like boiling water.

"When did the youngest Witcher Master receive the title?"

"If we don't count the period of the Witcher Conclave, it would be Vesemir. I remember he was in his forties when he obtained the title of Master..."

"My God! This record is already beyond the reach of most people, could this Witcher named Ailin be the reincarnation of God that the ignorant masses talk about?"

The crowd gasped in amazement, but the Witcher Master remained calm and composed, their expressions serene and unperturbed.

They were already shocked on the road.

"Could it just be luck? Or some other reason? After all, no demon hunters were following us the whole time during the Trial of the Mountains..."

"Bang~ Bang~"

A burly man with a thick black beard carried the two enormous heads into the room.

The sound of the frozen, hardened monster head hitting the ground interrupted the witcher's questioning.

"The chief and I have both examined it. The black burn marks on the severed head were indeed made by the silver sword, and the marks are exactly the same as those on Vesemir's Elsa."

The chief also spoke out, saying:

"A few days ago, Vesemir and Ailin hunted down an King of Ice together, and the cross-section formed was the same as these two."

After a pause, he continued to explain:

"Ailin is the owner of the Witcher's Eye. When she hunts monsters, the cuts she makes are very special. The cut surfaces are smooth and flat, and the edges are neat. They cannot be faked."

With the chief and a Witcher Master as witnesses, everyone acknowledged Ailin's hunting achievements.

The witcher who raised the question had something else to say.

Seeing this, the bearded Witcher Master stared into the man's trembling eyes and said:

"Those who still have doubts can wait until Ailin returns and then compare the traces on the silver sword."

"As for whether it's luck or not? Do I need to teach you that, Sali?"

"Without real skills, even if you were given my silver sword, you still couldn't cut off Old Spearhead's head."

"Moreover, the favor of fate is the greatest weapon of a witcher."

"If you're lucky enough to stumble upon a griffin that has crashed and died by the roadside, I'll apply for the title of Witcher Master for you."

The bearded Witcher Master's tone grew increasingly stern, for the one raising the question was his former traveling apprentice.

He knew what kind of person this was.

Timid and jealous.

The dregs of the School of the Wolf.

If he remembered correctly, Sali hadn't come down the mountain to accept a commission in five years.

Upon hearing this, Sali shrank back and remained silent.

Just then.

"Bang!"

An orange portal appeared next to the Mountain of Flesh.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Under everyone's gaze, five figures emerged from the teleportation portal one after another, but their reactions differed.

The most disheveled were Hughes, Bont, and Fred.

As soon as he stepped out of the portal, he collapsed to the ground, clutching his lower abdomen and retching incessantly.

Most of the witchers present felt a phantom abdominal pain upon witnessing this scene.

After passing through the portal multiple times, Ailin and Leto seemed to have found some tricks, but they were pale and their legs were weak.

Vesemir, however, preserved the dignity of the Witcher Master and slowly walked out of the portal step by step.

His slightly bluish complexion proved that he was not having an easy time dealing with the situation.

"Da~ da~ da~"

The Sorceress slowly emerged from the portal, elegant and composed.

"Smack!"

A snap of the fingers.

As the portal closed, a bottle of potion, as green as newly sprouted grass and as exquisitely crafted as jade, appeared in the Sorceress's hand.

Ailin skillfully took the potion and drank it down in one gulp.

Her complexion instantly turned rosy.

"Lady Vesemir."

The Sorceress nodded slightly, ignoring Leto's expectant face.

After glancing at Hughes, Bont, and Fred, who were still retching on the ground, he pondered for a moment, then conjured three Veridian Sigh and handed them to them.

Hughes and the others instinctively looked at Ailin, and after seeing him nod, they swallowed it in one gulp.

"Wow!"

Almost instantly after drinking the potion, Hughes touched his lower abdomen in surprise.

A warm current ignited in my stomach, but it was not painful.

A moment later, warmth spread throughout my body, and not only did the dizziness and nausea caused by the portal disappear, but my whole body also felt instantly light.

It was as if they had been reborn.

Bont and Fred were also shocked, touching their skin and muscles.

"Hurry up Lady Vesemir!" Vesemir reminded him.

Hughes and his team then realized what was happening and expressed their gratitude repeatedly.

"Lady Vesemir!"

The Sorceress smiled and nodded. Her gentle expression and exquisite features left all the witchers present speechless.

"Cough cough~"

A low cough interrupted everyone's reverie and made the Sorceress stop smiling.

The Chief of the School of the Wolf cleared his throat twice and then said:

"Ailin, what are your plans regarding the corpses of the King of Ice and Old Spearhead?"

Upon hearing this, all the witchers present immediately focused their attention on Ailin.
