Background / History

Qin Yun begins by organizing the Players aboard the Imperial Glory. After gaining experience from mutant battles, he establishes a contribution-point system to distribute rewards and resources, then assigns missions to clear the Tactical Projection Chamber and transport firearms 9.

He leads the retaking of the Imperial Glory's command bridge, defeats the fallen captain Pascal Hanemann, and grants the corrupted Chaos Captain mercy in his final moments 12. Qin Yun subsequently directs the recovery of the reactor chamber, assigns specialists to restart the reactor, and supports Old Bird's efforts to repair the ship 17 19.

After Planetary Governor Von Valancius requests aid against Chaos on Automata, Qin Yun initially refuses, then agrees to help the Valancius Family reclaim the planet as part of building his own faction 28 29. He trains rescued survivors into soldiers, oversees repairs to the Imperial Glory, and expands the Player population through successive batches of recruits 29 34 36.

Qin Yun later becomes a central military and political figure in the Calixis Sector.
