Background / History

Lu Xueqi is Shui Yue's prized disciple at Small Bamboo Peak and is regarded as her successor; Shui Yue has entrusted her with the Heavenly Azure Divine Sword. Five years before their reunion, Lu Xueqi met Wang Quan Yan when they were both around twelve or thirteen. The Heavenly Azure Divine Sword and Wang Quan Yan's Sovereign Sword resonated upon their meeting, and she marked him as a rival she needed to surpass. 4 6 18

During Wang Quan Yan's five-year absence from public prominence, Lu Xueqi regretted losing contact with him and questioned why such a prodigy appeared stalled at the third level of Jade Purity.
